There are no "UPS Stores" in PR as of this writing. There are a few businesses that can prepare UPS shipments , and this one such business. I was told by the owner that there is nothing free about the UPS model in PR, and the vendor suffers a fee whenever a package enters or exits their premises. So yes, there is an unexpected fee, but when compared to the time and lines at the UPS facility adjacent the airport, it's a reasonable amount. Btw, the UPS facility is closed on the weekends, so there's that to consider too. read more

The store charges for any UPS drop off, including prepaid Amazon returns. I recommend you take your business elsewhere.

I'm genuinely mystified by the bad reviews of this place; I ship boxes from here to the US all the time, and have always had excellent service from the owner. He will professionally cut down oversized boxes, re-pack if needed, offer advice on best shipping methods, etc. I'm always in and out the door in minutes, even around busy holidays. Of course it's expensive, but the shipping company (UPS) sets the rates, not the owner of the franchise. Excellent service, recommended. read more

If UPS would help this staff to have the ability to work more efficiently. They don't have the capability to scan for Amazon returns. In short, no pun intended they take 2 to 3 times longer to receive, retrieve and print labels for clients. I was here for 90 minutes going past closing time to be served and there were more customers behind me. I felt bad that the staff was not able to leave or even close up at correct time. I went there to have a family heirloom packed and shipped. It did not fit in my suitcase because of its size. Jose E., the employee, looked at it and figured out a way to safely separate the parts so they would fit in the suitcase. No charge! He would not accept a tip. Such kindness and willingness to help for the sake of helping in the business sector is rare nowadays. Profit is the goal. Not in this case. Gracias Mr. Jose! I don't usually write reviews, but this guys don't deserve to be doing costumer service. Worst customer service I've received in a long time. 1 star is a lot. I genuinely tried to use their services multiple times after receiving terrible service the first time, and they just couldn't redeem themselves. Staff always has an attitude, try to overcharge you, the place is dirty, messy and they're usually watching videos, not wanting to take care of the people that walk in. While they didn't have the specialized packaging supplies I needed to hand carry an item onto a flight, owner told me exactly what to buy and from where. TERRIBLE customer service. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The owner was too busy watching a movie to help me. Then he insisted I would need to pay for shipping on my package from Zappos, a retailer that provides free returns. Instead of allowing me to call the retailer to clear up the confusion (I think they had sent me the wrong label) he decided to argue with me about how I needed to pay for shipping (and a new box). read more

This is an excellent UPS store. I have always received great and friendly service every time I go. They are honest and fair about their prices and take much care in assuring that the package will arrive on time. And their printing and copying services are very good as well.
