This is thee only UPS store I have ever encountered that charges me boxes to return my Amazon purchases. Every other UPS store takes the Item , scans my code and packs and ships for FREE. The return instructions on Amazon even states that UPS packs and prints return labels for FREE . So why am I getting charged every time I take in an Item . The items are in the manufacture package , yet I still get charged from this UPS to take the item . Apparently you must have the original Amazon bag or Amazon box the item came in here at this UPS location. I told the lady who works there that the instructions says the item has to be in its original manufactured package and she stated that even on the Amazon instructions it says it has to have its original box it came in from Amazon .. it clearly states on Amazon no box or label needed .. picture posted for PROOF . The service here is great unless you get one of the employees that has been working at this location for a long time - I don't know her name, short pink-ish colored hair, older woman. She is so condescending to customers, don't try to bring a heavy package here - she makes you feel like you are doing something wrong. She does not have any customer service skills, no matter what you are there for. Every time I go there she has stern words to whoever she is serving at the counter. I am not a child to be scolded, I come here expecting to get a great customer service as all other employees at this location provide. read more

I was rushing to the Sonoma airport to fly home after my wedding when I realized the wedding venue had accidentally thrown away my bouquet preservation kit. The company said I could still purchase the supplies needed to send in the bouquet at a shipping store, so I looked up the UPS store nearest to the airport. I was a frenzied mess when I ran in and found the store didn't sell some of the items I needed to send the bouquet, like packing peanuts. Your employee Kim immediately came to my rescue, running into the back to track down any sort of makeshift stuffing she could find for the packaging. She told me she'd do everything she could to make sure the bouquet made it, helping me write "perishable" in red marker all over the box. Then she insisted I leave without paying for the box. I literally started crying. It was such much-needed kindness in a stressful moment. We made it to the airport a minute before baggage cutoff and when I got home, I got an alert that the bouquet had been received in good condition. All because of Kim. Please give this woman a bonus. I don't often leave reviews, but I run a business that relies heavily upon them and therefore I like to give props to awesome customer service when I receive it. I feel like kim went out of her way to try and help me out today, even as we came to the conclusion that they weren't going to be able to ship my package. Kim made phone calls for me, took notes, and more importantly, gained a customer for life. I actually left there wishing I had something to ship just so I could give them some business. First time here and won't be the last. Very friendly customer service. I walked in and got in the socially distanced line. I was acknowledged immediately by an associate and didn't have to wait more than a few minutes to be helped. They had at least three associates helping customers which made the wait time quick. This a well run, efficient business. We live near by, and use them over waiting in long lines at the local USPS. The staff are friendly, and able to help with almost any need that customers may have. My wife and I needed new photos in order to renew our passports. The owner helped us, and she was thoroughly enjoyable. She knew her stuff, helped us out and made small talk about traveling. We appreciated her attention to detail, and her friendly manner. If you need to mail.ship an item, I would recommend the UPS Store on College Avenue. I have been going to the UPS store on West College for well over 20 years, back when it was under another name. They have always been really helpful with anything that I needed help with. I had rented a mail box there in the past and have used their copy service, mail service and Notary service. They have always been cheerful and knowledgeable in their interactions with me. I have seen a long term core of employees / owners there for over 20 years. I love this store and will continue to go there for all the services they provide. read more

I wish I could give this location zero stars. I had a notary appointment for 10am that was not honored. I was told the notary was "busy" until 10:30. I was unable to wait, so I asked why they don't honor their appointment times. The owner/manager/notary then proceeded to raise her voice to me in front of a string of customers to say she had an important "$10,000 computer" she HAD to get out and would not be available until 10:30. If she hadn't been completely disrespectful and had used a smidge of customer service I would have absolutely rescheduled at a better time. As a side note, she was having a casual conversation with someone as I walked in making me and the gentleman in front of me wait so just how important was this "$10,000 computer"? This location has permanently lost my business until it's taken over by new management. read more

I just got my live scan done here and was really happy with the service. I have to get my fingerprints done for my pharmacy license, and the last time I did it 4 years ago at the start of pharmacy school, I had a ton of issues with my prints. I have sweaty hands (sexy, I know) so there was some trouble in completing the live scan and I was worried this time around. The workers were really nice and helpful. My hands were moist from nervousness about failing the scan again, but they came up with ideas like using a fan, warming up the fingerprint machine (?) with a towel, etc. Overall I am glad I came here for my live scan and would recommend this store for other services UPS can provide. read more

I went in to get a lien notarized, which I have done 2 times at another UPS store. Understandably it was about 10 minutes before closing but the the girl was very short with me. She saw the papers I had and started writing in her book. Then I wasn't sure which page had to be notarized so she gets mad and crossed the entry out. Jackie and Barry were so helpful when myself and a coworker rushed in there in a slight panic 5 minutes before the air freight cut off time. We had directions from our job to hurriedly send a very important package across the country immediately. Plus, the packages included dry ice! We didn't realize dry ice comes with special regulations for flying. They were able to swiftly take care of processing our packages, and although we missed the pick up, they gave us instructions to drive the packages 2 miles up the road to the main ups center. I had to get a few hundred funeral programs printed and only intended to stop in for a quote. They were super nice, helped me make some final adjustments, and had everything set and done within a half hour. I HIGHLY recommend this UPS store!! Wish I could give them 10 stars! Our community children's choir (VOENA) had a last minute need for 2900 two-sided flyers for our open enrollment period. We were on such a tight deadline and they were ON it!! They printed, cut, and individually bundled the flyers into the required classroom student numbers for us, in about 3 hours - amazing!! The flyers are exactly as we ordered and now all we have to do is drop them off at the schools. Thank you so much to Jackie and your phenomenal work!! Wow!
