Never been to this location previously, but will start using it for my shipping needs going forward! Today, I received the best service ever I was greeted by both employees as soon as I entered the door even though both were busy helping another customer. The store offers dolly use free of charge to bring in your heavy packages, yet the gentleman Representative was so kind, professional and went above and beyond in having me pull up to the store's door and carried in my super heavy and bulky box. There is a lady working the desk who has the best customer service I've seen. She greeted me when I walked in, cleared off the counter for me to put my boxes down while she helped the customer in front of me. Then was patient while I couldn't find the email where my QR code was. And was still kind once I found it. I live closer to the other ups in Spartanburg and will probably go out of my way to Go to this one. read more

Shipping Amazon Return. This store recently changed hands. It has been remodeled, they've added staff, and improved the processes. When it is busy, they have enough help. I went in today and it wasn't busy. The employees were cleaning. Yes, cleaning. They greeted me with a smile and were ready to do business right away. You should be proud that this store and these employees represent UPS. Can't say enough good things about them. They take pride in their work and seem to be genuinely happy to be helping people. Horrible attitude! Arrived a minute after 6pm and waited for the woman to help a friend (she hugged him as he left so I assume they knew each other).... Asked if I could grab my package real quick because y'all left a note on my door last night saying it was here now, but when my wife came earlier today you said it wasn't dropped off yet." "Our system is down, thank you" - Sarcastic rude attitude about how she said it as if I was a big inconvenience to her for coming at closing - life lesson lady - treat other people the way you want to be treated - one day someone will deny you a simple request that might mean a lot to you - I won't see it, but it'll happen. The real inconvenience is the fact that your note said to keep my package safe it was at your address - but at 11am the next day - IT WASNT!!!! LIE! So she wasted 20 minutes if her day to be told your communication was a lie - great customer service. When I showed up a closing, yeah it's not convenient but you chose to be condescending - good luck in life. read more

I needed to fax documents to a drug company and wasn't sure where to do that so I called the Franklin Ave store in Spartanburg since it was on my route of running errands. It was a very very humid day and since I am 76 years old and not in great health I was taking a while to get to the store. There was a young lady outside the store helping an other customer and instead of turning her back and walking back into the store she waited and opened the door for me. She followed me in and asked if she could help me, She stayed with me and walked me through every thing I needed to do for a smooth transaction. I must say that I have been lucky and haven't received rude service in a very long time, but Alexis Rawson in my opinion was polite and accommodating because she enjoyed it not because she HAD to. Paid $33 for 2 days shipping for my daughter gear for skiing trip. Took it 5 days to be delivered. She had already left for trip 2 days earlier. Stop was like Covid-19 so it's not Guaranteed. No refund, no partial discount, have a good day. Will not be using UPS again!!! read more

Two bucks to tape my box shut?!?! I think NOT... I usually have my packages ready to go but I rushed out the door thinking they closed at 5:00. I am appalled and won't be going back. Next thing you know they will charge you to seal your envelop shut (perhaps they already do)! read more

They were perfectly friendly, but they wanted to charge me to tape up my boxes when I brought in UPS labels. I've shipped from ups stores all across the country and have never once been charged for tape before. I will find a different location to ship from. read more

Don't ever Ever go here!! Not only do they have horrible customer service, but they are only a franchise and aren't actually directly affliiated with ups, which I did not know. They seriously over charge for shipping!! I went there to ship a package for Christmas and was charged $67 for one box! That was the cheapest option and it was to arrive in 6 days, the most expensive option apparently being $300 for 3 day shipping. What??!!!! So after I got home I reviewed the receipt and realized the actual weight of the package was 8 lbs but I was billed for a 49 lb package!!! Then they charged for each individual present inside the package as well! I immediately went back to the store to get some answers and her response to me was "no it shouldn't cost that much but we are a franchise so we can charge whatever we want". So I then asked for my package back so that I can ship it another way and she told me it had already left...without even checking!! And I had just been there to drop it off!!! These people are taking money out of people's pockets for their own benefit and giving the actual UPS a bad name!!!! read more
