It's not the closest UPS location to me, but I was willing to make the drive since they had initially left good impressions on me. Recently however they made a mistake on their end and treated me poorly for it when I went in to resolve it. I understand their jobs are difficult and I don't expect them to go above and beyond. But I don't want to be treated like I'm shady scum when I've done so much business with them in the past. Not to mention that again, this all came about due to a mistake on their end. I won't be renewing my PO Box and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Because of tragic events (plane crash) in the UPS network routed through Louisville, KY, my shipment was delayed for days and I knew I would miss the original home delivery window due to pre-planned travel. UPS customer service had pre-cleared a hold for my package at a local UPS location and confidently guaranteed that it would be held there until I returned from a trip. When I woke up this morning, I found that the package was suddenly marked as "returning to sender." This is not an ordinary package. It contains wine worth several thousand dollars and it is perishable in heat and during additional transit. When I called the UPS Store on Mahan, they were completely nonchalant. The young woman who answered and the gentleman she was working with refused to even look up my tracking number. They repeatedly told me there was nothing they could do and would not take the simple step of checking whether the package was still there so that I could send someone to pick it up on my behalf. To make matters worse, UPS customer service specifically directed me to work with this local store to resolve the issue and hold the package. The store simply refused to help at all. No effort to problem solve, no empathy for the situation, and no interest in protecting an expensive and time sensitive shipment. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the lack of basic customer service and unwillingness to even pull up a tracking number at this location was unacceptable.

The prices for their services on the other hand.... I bought a Fisher Price toy as a Christmas gift for our new grandson and I bought it locally because I was afraid it might sell out. The plan was to wrap it and ship it to California. Turned out we didn't have a box that would fit so I came here to at least get a box that would fit and figured I would find out how much they would charge to pack and ship for me. The clerk actually quoted the $70+ price with a straight face as if folks do that all the time. Since my gift cost way less than that I asked him for the price of just a box that would fit and that cost me $9+. I made it back out to the car with my gift and my box in a dazed state and when I eventually could think clearly I got on my Walmart app, ordered the exact same Fisher Price toy for free delivery to my grandson in California (courtesy of my Walmart + membership) and the Fisher Price toy I have here will now be donated to Toys For Tots. So, for the price they quoted to pack and ship my one gift, I got 2 Fisher Price toys and a box I no longer need and I still had a little money left over. Sheesh.

I have have been a victim of identity theft and my key to mailbox at apt. stolen this is why I pay for secure mail delivery. I have explained this to him. I have been in there twice at night and gate was left open where anyone could access mail. And I even called TPD and reported this from the store on the second incident. Also I informed Colby all my keys were stolen and asked could I switch box numbers bc someone now has key to my box, he said I could not. Also I asked him to make another key for me and that I would pay for it if neccesary, and it has been a month and still no key! I have asked for owners name and he wont give it.
