Warrenton, VA. The UPS Store. Dec, 2025. We needed to do an Amazon return. While we were not familiar with this particular UPS store, it was convenient as we would be passing through Warrenton on route to another destination. The store is in a small shopping center with its own parking lot. Between construction work on Lee Highway directly in front of the store and a lot of movement in the shopping center's parking lot, the area was very congested. Once inside, there were two employees helping two customers, while I waited in line. The line was slow-moving but once I reached an employee, she was friendly and helpful. My actual transaction took less than a minute while the wait was closer to five. The shop was clean and well-organized. read more

Amy and the young man were very kind and always have been. The one girl I think it's Carli got involved when I've already spoken to UPS in length regarding a shipment. She got very, very rude very very aggressive about me and my shipment whether I accept it whether I sign for it that I can't check the contents to make sure that the $400 bottle of wine was not damaged since the box was damaged. she did not do customer service at all correctly! She in fact, made it that I will go somewhere else, especially since she got in my face about how this "the UPS store" was privately owned. Since it is a privately owned business, there is one down the street that I will use and is closer to my work and in fact from here on out, I will continue to tell people about the horrible experience I had today. Normally I'm not one to bitch about local business nor leave bad reviews but I'm so sick of the rude treatment from staff like you are an inconvenience to them by coming to their store or them just being rude. Today they rejected my shipment with a prepaid label because they couldn't scan it. I politely asked them if they could enter in by tracking number? They said no, iwould have to pay a $3 fee to have my label printed. I declined and left with my package as I KNOW they do not need to actually scan and can accept the package by manually entering the tracking number. Last time I went to this location with a bunch of Amazon returns. God forbid I ever do that again. The complete attitude and being rushed when I was the only one in the store for that matter is just disgusting! By the way, the nice US Parcel Mailing store down the road, happily accepted my package. They are always pleasant, friendly and attentive to their customers. So avoid using/supporting The UPS Store of Warrenton. Also, apparently I'm not the only one that feels this way. The service here used to be decent, as long as you stayed within their rules and did what you were told. They were (past tense) nice about Amazon's ever-changing requirements for returns.... Obviously Amazon's confusing returns requirements are part of the issue, but now the store staff seem to be taking it out on the customers. They used to give you a nice warning about issues/changes with the returns policies. Not anymore. Case in point: Today I brought an Amazon return in to the store. Amazon said box it up, no label needed. I packed and boxed it up, and brought it in. I left just the top open in case they needed to put any paperwork/receipt inside the box. The staff charged me $2 for a piece of tape to close the box. Very disappointing. I get being frustrated with Amazon, but what happened to basic courtesy? read more

Yesterday, I had two extremely upsetting experiences connected to the Warrenton, VA UPS location -- one in the morning, and one in the afternoon. In the morning, I visited the store to have paperwork notarized. The woman who helped us was rude, unprofessional, and clearly irritated. She kept making loud sighs and acted as if we were a burden for simply needing service. It was uncomfortable and completely unnecessary. Then in the afternoon, I encountered a UPS employee from this same location while he was off duty and driving a personal vehicle. While I was on the road with my five young children, this person aggressively blocked me from merging, cut me off on a bridge, made obscene hand gestures, flicked me off, and brake-checked me multiple times. My children were terrified. This behavior was reckless, dangerous, and completely unacceptable. Both incidents made it clear that this location has a serious problem with professionalism and basic respect both inside the store and out in the community. I truly hope UPS takes this seriously and investigates these situations. * Response to UPS Store's Reply* While I understand that the off-duty employee was not acting in an official UPS capacity, the fact remains that this individual represents your company, wears your uniform, and works at your location. Behavior that endangers families in the community (especially children ) reflects directly on the type of people your business employs. That's relevant to the public, and it's absolutely appropriate to mention here. Also, let's not forget the unprofessional service I received earlier that same day inside your store, when your notary treated us with clear irritation and attitude. That part of my review is directly related to your customer service and instead of addressing that, your response chose to ignore it entirely. If you're committed to professionalism and accountability, I hope you take both incidents seriously, not just try to silence feedback that makes your store look bad. Update: Not long after I posted my review detailing two serious incidents -- one involving blatant in-store rudeness and another involving aggressive, reckless behavior from an off-duty employee -- this store magically received a glowing, overly-scripted review praising the staff and ownership in glowing detail. 03/22/2025 - Experienced the weirdest experience at this UPS store today. We went in to get a document notarized. Chloe, who served us was curt and unfriendly. We started the transaction, then my husband asked if she was having a bad day. She said she was no longer comfortable continuing the process and stopped entering our information, then deleted it. I have been going to the UPS Store in Warrenton for the last 5 years. They are the nicest people ever. They ALWAYS help me with comfort and ease. Nothing is made hard there. I went today and needed help and I knew I'd get the help I needed. Kat saved me money and was so willing to give me a helping hand! She figured out how we could solve my shipping issue and was to kind when I acted fairly stupid about some things. I'm a little older and don't understand some of the "newer" gadgets and ideas. She and the others that work there are so patient with customers like me. Went into this store for the very first time,forgot to tape the top of my package. The employee in the store told me there would be a tape charge of $4.50 a d then they said I could buy some tape for 5.00. Just to tape the top of the box. They were rude and would not spare a 2' piece of tape. I will never go back to this store. Other locations had no problem taping the top of my box. Just for a PC of tape. We are building a new home and will not have an address for packages. Decided the UPS store would be a good solution to temporarily receive packages from Amazon and other online vendors. But I made a bad decision because they lost a package on the very first day! They received two Amazon packages that day. They both were mine and they lost one. They will not take any responsibility. Just blamed it on Amazon and said it happens all the time with Amazon. However, over the past ten years and thousands of packages Amazon has never lost a package. I asked for my money back for the mailbox rental based on the lost package on my first use of the mailbox and unprofessional attitude of the staff. I was told without hesitation that there are no refunds per the contract. It was odd the clerk rattled off the contract so precisely. I have a feeling that this happens a lot. I don't know if the package is lost in the messy confines of the store or maybe it was stolen. Either way I am out of a package and $185 for the mailbox. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Staples. They are nice, professional, don't overcharge and appreciate your business. read more

Unbelievable! I tried to get an overnight sent from this store that a client pays for. I do this all the time and have NEVER had ANY other store try to charge me for an overnight envelope. Over $3.00 for an envelope ups or fedex will send you for free? Who would use them? Ridiculous. I drove to the other store, they handed me an envelope like they always do, and off it went. Came in to print a single piece of paper. Was told the cost was $2.50. I was shocked because I come in here often to print. I was told the cost was higher because it's a label for a different shipping company (???). Ink is ink, not sure why the content of the page matters. I had to make an Amazon return. Amazon website directed me to this location for the retun. I walked in and witness this guy who works there being a complete sweetheart to two customers. He helped them pick packaging and even helped a customer navigate Amazon to get labels for her. So nice.On my turn I received amazing service from the girl who also works there. She was so friendly. And like the guy, she helped me find out how to get labels made for my return. I felt foolish and both of them were like..Amazon sends people to them all the time but they are not a location that can print labels from the code sent for returns. So they have to re-work the return from my phone, for each order and print all separate labels. Smiles, gracious help and understanding. They worked and talked like they were having fun. The customer service is always top notch. Everyone is helpful and friendly even if you're fumbling for info they need to complete your transaction. About 2 weeks ago I was waiting for a truck to move so I could park. When I finally did I ran up to pull the door noticing it had just turned 7 and they were closing. I went to walk away bc after all it was closing and the gentleman working there (young adult) came and opened it with a smile. I even said no receipt to make it as fast as possible and he printed one. I told him he was an angel bc it was the first word I could think of. This UPS Store quoted $31 for the same 2 lb package shipped ground just across the state line into NC. They've never been helpful. I don't even know why I bother going in there anymore. This store provides the normal pack and ship services you expect everywhere, but I think they go the extra distance by precisely matching your shipping needs with what is offered. My usual is " nothing dangerous or breakable, no insurance, slow boat inexpensive,how much?" The person who runs the store caught on to my preferences, so she has my stuff ready almost before I can complete my rap. Also, least expensive ground usually gets there the next day. Quite late in this review because I thought I gave one already.... Very happy this store is in Warrenton - it has everything you need to ship boxes or for PO Box requests. I don't use this often enough but when I do need them, I have no complaints. People there are friendly and helpful. And the hours they are open!! 7PM most nights.... That is great for people like me who works until 5:00pm and still fight traffic and usually gets to Warrenton around 6:00 - 6:30pm.... Easy location - right off 29. Plenty of parking and now DD moved next door! read more

I went in there to return an order from Amazon. The order came in two separate boxes, but since it was technically one order, I only got one packing slip. A minor complication- but certainly not something the ups store hasn't encountered before. But I was told that I'd need to go get another slip (or something). I made the point that since I'm at a US store, trying to ship something via UPS, it would seem like they could help me. Can we take the boxes together? Can we put them in the same box? I don't know. The issue wasn't that they couldn't help me. It's that they wouldn't help me. Not only that, but the woman speaking to me wouldn't even look at my face. She continued to do whatever she was doing, while saying 'nope. Not gonna do that.' That's textbook disrespectful, and textbook poor customer service. So, I'll pay the extra money to ship the item back via FedEx. And I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Been using the UPS store for just over two years. 24/7 access to your mailbox with a real address. This way you can have packages shipped by UPS or other vendors unlike a traditional PO Box. Also any business services you need they can provide. Photocopying, faxing, shipping packages and other services. The help is always friendly and glad to help assist you. read more

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but my experience (first and last) was so exceptionally bad that I felt that I needed to warn people. And maybe, just maybe, the owner will even take a note from it and learn not to treat customers like trash. I stopped there on Saturday to fax a large document. The girl working was very nice but couldn't get the fax to go through successfully. I had already paid and didn't have time to wait, so I said I would call back to make sure it went through and swing by for the confirmation page. The girl at the desk said she would leave a note with my name on the copy of the document, and I watched her beginning to write this note. I called back today, explained the situation and was met with a very rude and angry tone from Pam, the owner. I repeatedly explained that I was not attacking her, that I simply wanted to be sure that my fax went through. She said there was no note and that she trusted her employees to do their jobs (implying that I was lying about the whole thing). I assured her that I was not accusing anyone of anything, that I just wanted my document sent. She interrupted me multiple times to basically say that I didn't know what I was talking about, and that therefore she couldn't help me. Then she hung up on me. I have never in all of my life been treated so poorly. I would rather just absorb the $11.00 loss on the fax than be forced to ever attempt communication with that horrible woman again. read more

Lets start with this. Im one of the ones who doesn't give reviews at all. I have delt with this place once before and the did a great job packing and shipping something across the country for me. This time, they blew me away. The whole staff was friendly and seemed to truly enjoy what they do. Pam, the one who helped me, went above and beyond. Not only did she do what I asked, edited and printed 70+ pictures but with short notice, she did it with a smile on her face. Overpriced! Please make sure to check shipping prices and transit time on the UPS website before going here! Was charged $60 for 2nd day air, when charge online is only around $32. Further it turns out this package could have been shipped ground and gotten there in the same amount of time for less than $15! An option not offered by the clerk when the package was shipped. The representative at UPS corporate said since this is a franchise they are free to charge over UPS rates. Total ripoff! The owner Pam had no sympathy for the fact we got completely ripped off. The owner is always gracious and very helpful; she packs our things so carefully we have never had an item broken in shipping from this location.
