    The service here used to be decent, as long as you stayed within their rules and did what you were told. They were (past tense) nice about Amazon's ever-changing requirements for returns.... Obviously Amazon's confusing returns requirements are part of the issue, but now the store staff seem to be taking it out on the customers. They used to give you a nice warning about issues/changes with the returns policies. Not anymore. Case in point: Today I brought an Amazon return in to the store. Amazon said box it up, no label needed. I packed and boxed it up, and brought it in. I left just the top open in case they needed to put any paperwork/receipt inside the box. The staff charged me $2 for a piece of tape to close the box. Very disappointing. I get being frustrated with Amazon, but what happened to basic courtesy?

    Showing that their competitor will take the same package and with a smile on their face.

    Hired C&F to pack and ship family heirloom furniture to TX and AZ from MD…read more The collection included About 20 pieces including a bowed front glass China cabinet, framed mirrors, tables, chairs, bookcases, and accessories in excellent condition. Overall it was an excellent experience- really impressive performance really. I've previous top- notch experience with C&F so my expectations were already high. Yet to say they super exceeded my expectations this time would still be an understatement. The pickup crew was professional which instilled confidence. Communication on shipment status was good. Their advice on how to prepare, ship, and insure was valuable.......overall, just as you'd expect from a quality organization. There was a delivery issue- not C&F's fault- yet they stepped up to take care of it. Wow! This was a big deal as it demonstrated how committed C&F was to customer satisfaction. Incredible really. Even Dave L. called afterwards to check on my satisfaction. Wow! As for value....... The quoted price was accurate, and they waaay over delivered IMO. So, I'll continue to trust C&F without any concerns. Thanks C&F I'll be back

    This all began because I got scammed. to make a very long (3 month) story short, it caused what…read morewas left in our bank account to be frozen because we used on-line banking. Anyway, we live over an hour away from our bank so if we needed money (debit card was also frozen), we had to make that one hour plus drive just to be able to buy groceries etc. But then, someone suggested we go to Dok Klaus Computer Repair in Warrenton (another hour plus drive each way). But - we had to do something to get our bank to allow us to do on-line banking again. So I unplugged everything and off to Warrenton I went. And this is where my story changes from anger and tears to HAPPY tears! The minute we walked into the place I just knew we were where we needed to be. Everyone there knew exactly what had happened and what needed to be done. They were all truly sympathetic to our plight and assured us that "no, we were not the most stupid people on the planet". Sadly, this sort of thing happens WAY more than I realized. To try and close this up, each and every person there made me feel like I had nothing to worry about from that point forward - and they were RIGHT!! Not only did they scrub all the stuff the hacker had done to my computer, they also checked my phone and my iPad! They gave me a document I could take to the bank to get our on-line banking turned back on and a new debit card. I had questions but they answered each and every one as if they realized that even though they may have been simple questions they treated them and me as if they were all very impportant. I apologize for being so long winded, but I want to make sure that I get across the fact that these folks are all excellent (and caring) in everything they do. I hate that long drive to Warrenton but these guys are so good, and so helpful that I would drive twice that far just to get them for any of my computer needs. If you're having any issues - don't hesitate- call them up and I promise you will be glad that you did. As far as I'm concerned they get 5 stars. They deserve more than 5, but 5 was as high as the rating scale went. One quick last thing: everyone I met there could answer any question I asked - they didn't have to turn to someone else for the answer - they were all excellent and up-to-date on everything I asked about. So, honestly I'm really stopping now, but I just had to say one more THANK YOU for all that you did, and for your superb attitude. Your customer service is beyond anything I've ever experienced from a company such as this. WAY TO GO GUYS - you are all my new "super heroes".
