It set the tone for the entire event. The first meal upon arrival was a meet & greet. Met lots of interesting people both participants as well as the presenters. I was eager to get started and experience everyone's area of expertise. The entire weekend was packed with fitness, fun, information, warm conversation, great meals and beautiful ocean views. I made some great connections that remain as friends today. These are definitely the best events to make friends, get your life back in a good direction, and gain some knowledge to maintain your health. I highly recommend these weekends. Good for the body and the soul.

We were all at different fitness levels, and ages and stages in life in general. The pacing of the day is perfect, the variety of the activities to lectures were perfect. Jami does a great job at planning something for everyone and making you feel comfortable and taking you slightly outside your comfort zone at the same time. I have been familiar with Philly Fit for years through the BASH and the Workout-athons but with the retreat I was able to connect in ways that exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to the next event.
