Dr. Oberle is FANTASTIC! He is one of the most patient, kind, caring doctors we have ever had, explains everything fully to make sure we understand what's going on, what the treatment will be, and why, and he and his team work diligently with our other doctors to coordinate care, share test results, and make sure my husband has had the best care possible. Whenever he needs an impromptu appointment, they are also very willing and able to get him in. I'm sure doctors are OK but front office staff is out of touch regarding appointments and billing. Having to chase down info for appointments and billing for an elective procedure is very off putting. Staff made it out to be my problem for calling them to for an appointment after being told they would call to schedule. I haven't had a procedure done by them but I'm already looking for a different provider based on the uneasy feeling I have just from dealing with the front office staff. My main concern is the level of care and issues with billing will arise after the fact. The front office is also part of quality care. They seem like they don't care at all. Edit- after calling to cancel I got a call asking if I was certain I no longer wanted to use their office for the procedure. I'd already stated in the initial call that I'd found an office that was more focused and willing to do their job. They don't seem to care until it comes down to losing money from a patient. read more

If you want to just be prescribed pills, this is the place for you. If don't want answers from the doctor, this place is for you. If you want the doctor not to listen to you or know your history, this is the place for you. The front staff was nice, but this is all that I can say nice about this place. Be ready be on hold for extended amount of time to talk to someone. Stay clear. read more

We are SO GRATEFUL to have Dr. Davies and the Urology Center team in our lives! He first started treating my father during an emergency episode with kidney stones last winter. When we were desperate for help, Dr. Davies took the time to call us back in the evening hours to relay what we could do to help my Dad get through the night, then cleared his schedule to surgically treat him the next day, knowing how badly he was in pain. A few months later when the stones returned, Dr. Davies took the time to personally communicate with my father's emergency room physician to get everyone on the same page and where they needed to be so, once again, he could get my father in for surgery as quickly as possible. He is now his ongoing physician to prevent further episodes. He is professional, kind, extremely talented and incredibly dedicated to the patients and community he serves. We are so lucky to have Dr. Davies in our community and taking care of my Dad! read more

I've read the other reviews and I honestly don't understand how they came to these conclusions because I was treated great from beginning to end. The nurses took their time to explain everything to me and answered all of my questions. When Dr. Davies came in, he was kind and considerate and told me what he was going to be doing and made me feel comfortable with the procedure. I was impressed with everyone there and they were all very professional. Upon leaving, I had to make my next appointment and they did their very best to work around my schedule. Again, I was very pleased with this facility and staff and the doctor that took care of me was the best. read more

Did not care for the doctor, procedure, lack of compassion, lack of explanation, or lack of listening to the patient.

While most of the doctors I dealt with were great, the return of phone calls is abysmal. I called on a Tuesday about some concerning symptoms I was having. By Thursday I had to call my oncologist to get them to return my call. I spent more than 48 hours wondering if I should just go to the ER or continue to wait for a callback. The biggest thing to watch out for with this business is them adding on different scans, procedures, products or whatever without telling you how much it'll cost. And then you're stuck owing hundreds and hundreds of dollars without prior knowledge. It almost seems like it should be illegal. The Urology Center is the absolute WORST place to visit. My husband was scheduled for a vasectomy and not only did they cancel without telling him, He had to call and find out why. After he went back and signed a consent form and waiver, they sent us a letter saying we had to pay upfront before the procedure even though we are covered 100% by insurance. You know they were going to bill our insurance and get paid TWICE and not refund us anything. This place is TRASH. Do NOT go there. Find another place that does not stand in the way of care for patients. read more

I got a letter in the mail from the urology Center, PC that states they want me to find a new urology center to continue my car because I had a stroke and I needed a follow up with my urologist which did one of my surgeries for urology, so I called to make the appointment and they told me that I have to see a nurse practitioner Mind you every time I go to this place I have to pull my pants down in front of somebody new and I don't like that so I said no I want to see my doctor so I waited an extra two weeks to see the doctor that I was scheduled to see Four days before my appointment I received a phone call that said that they wanted to shift me to a new doctor or I needed to find a new place to go to urology. The only thing I did was stand up for my patient rights and I was asked to basically not come back healthcare is getting kind of like the schools where they're in charge you conform to what they want or don't come we need to start standing up for our rights people there was a day when doctors work for the patient not the patient working for the doctor read more

I had two prostate surgeries here in Lincoln. My doctor had very poor bedside manners so I wasn't expecting anything better from Dr. Davies. But the moment I sat down with him, I found him to be down-to-earth and personable. He explained quite a bit to me, which was refreshing since the last doctor spent exactly 2 minutes with me after my last surgery and was then gone with the wind! I felt comfortable with him and he seemed genuinely concerned about my issues. The two nurses who checked me out were awesome! I had arrived there all nerved up from my drive on I-80, but I left there with a smile on my face due to how humorous they both were. I had a good experience at this facility. The office is sorta run down/tired. You'd never know it from the exterior, but inside, carpets are a bit stained and tired, and wallpaper was coming off the walls and near windows. Exam rooms are a bit dark, paint missing/chipped/walls banged. And loudness... yeeesh... front desk and nurses station... everyone talks way too loud. All conversations can be heard, including phone calls, banter, etc. Walls must be thin. My first visit? I think it lasted a tad less than 5 minutes... not too crazy about this facility. do not recommend this place under any circumstances I have been in eight days of left testicle pain that has been pretty much dismissed and completely ignored by this clinic. The first doctor I saw on Monday of last week spent a total of maybe five minutes with me made a snap decision that I had epididymitis and put me on an antibiotic that within two days I have a very minor reaction to which kind of become a very serious situation. The doctor that was supposed to be my urologist completely dismissed and blew off the continuous pain I am still in. The ARNP on call this weekend blatantly stated that I should seek out what would be interpreted as drug seeking behavior by an ER doctor. Not realizing at all the effects that if you are labeled in an ER as a drug seeker it completely changes all of your medical care across the board from any medical staff. Furthermore this morning I requested to speak to the supervisors of these doctors and explain why I wanted to speak to them the receptionist even though I was completely clear that it was to go to the supervisor sent it to my doctor which I didn't find out until the afternoon so that was completely disrespectful of me and my wishes. I would be incredibly cautious if you enter this clinic particularly if you don't have a clear course for the cause of very real pain in. And I would also be cautious of the male doctors who seem all too quick to want to examine your testicles and penis particularly if you have any sexual violence issues in your life. I do not consider this place to be a good space for anyone who has any deeper emotional trauma from a turbulent childhood. I would advise extreme caution in this clinic to anyone looking into it and frankly if you can find somewhere else to go I would recommend it read more

I had an appointment for a vasectomy scheduled for this Friday, I received a letter stating that payment is expected in full for an elective procedure. I have a health savings account and can pay nearly the entire amount, but not the entirety. I explained that my 34 year old wife had breast cancer this year, and she takes a medicine that causes grossly severe birth defects, and asked politely if they would make an exception, as I could finish paying off the remaining amount in the coming months. I was reaffirmed that they would not make an exception for me, regardless of my wife's medicine that she needs to take. I was told that I need to use a different method of birth control, and a vasectomy would still be an elective procedure in my family's case. I feel that was an insensitive response, my wife has had a double mastectomy, recently completed chemotherapy, still takes medicine through her chemo port for the next year, has had 7 surgeries in the past 18 months. And she has to take Tamoxifen for the next 10 years, a medicine that removes her hormones and causes severe birth defects. I'm sorry, but my wife and I would like to NOT have to use another method of birth control, all things considered. We've gone through enough to have a stranger from the Urology Center billing department and scheduling department tell me how my wife and I should treat our intimate life until I can afford an $2000 "elective" procedure. It's not the money, it's how I was spoken to and the condescending tone. We just paid off all of my wife's bills this month, so I really wanted to get this procedure done with my doctor if choice. read more
