Then the experience itself was amazing. We met Michelle in Sonoma in a parking lot where we could safely leave our car, and we were off for the day. As part of the vegan tour, we started at a farmed animal sanctuary and the behind the scenes tour at Charlie's Acres was amazing. It was really special to see the animals and visit with the staff. Then we had a boxed lunch outside from Sunflower Caffe (best wrap ever), then we stopped for leisurely visits at two wineries. One best known for the beauty of the grounds, the second on the square was so good we signed up for wine club since they offered a vegan cheese plate. We had vegan and gluten free options without even asking for it. Michelle is so engaging and thoughtful. She provides the right amount of advice, friendship and kindness without becoming over-the-top. The van was super comfortable, and every detail was taken care of. We paid our wine tastings, and that left us in control of our experience as well (want to share a tasting, great that's your call, white or red or both, great too, your call). I'd highly recommend this experience, no reservations at all, and we have already talked about booking a second experience with different wineries. It's that good. Michelle is an A++ experience.

From start to finish the whole experience was smooth and so enjoyable! Marc was the best tour guide with so much information to share and we even met Michelle along the way at one of the wineries. Michelle was so knowledgeable about all things Vegan in Sonoma! She even went as far as to mark up a little map of the area we were staying in with all locations that had vegan offerings. The tour consisted of an amazing first stop at Charlie's Acres animal sanctuary (at this stop we were provided a yummy acai bowl and ice cream) where we met, fed, gave belly rubs to all their amazing rescued animals, then we had a delicious vegan lunch at the next stop (a winery) and lastly stopped at one more winery with such beautiful scenery and delicious wine! This tour is the holy grail for vegans! When else do we get so many accommodations and freedom!? We even got a little box of the most delicious chocolate (of course vegan) I mean come on! Couldn't have been happier having Larry as our guide. We were two couples that have done Napa the…read morehard way-tasting at the usual wineries with the masses getting crowded at the end of the bar. Now we know how to do it the right way, small family owned wineries with tours by the wine makers themselves. We entrusted our itinerary to Larry and he planned our fabulous four stops with a delicious deli lunch. He even looked after our best interests by supplying plenty of water between stops. Our favorite stop was at Terraces where we were driven through the vineyard in the "mule", a beefy golf cart, and treated to a balsamic vinegar tasting that was unforgettable. The wine was excellent and at the end of it all we had to ship a case home (this is a very reasonable option at $30 from our hotel so don't be afraid to collect a few!) Without his connections and friendly relationships with the wineries we would not have had such a personal and up close experience. Larry was very knowledgeable and friendly and his Escalade was clean and comfortable. Thank you Larry for such a memorable trip.

From the start Valet of the Moon was super communicative and sooooo knowledgeable of the valley! They sent over great options of a variety of vineyards to visit. Once we selected the places we wanted to go, they set up the PERFECT route to allow us to hit everything that we wanted to a a pace that allowed for the perfect enjoyment at each location. We were carefree and so relaxed as Colleen treated us like royalty but kept us in perfect sync with our schedule. If we needed to deviate from the plan, she was on it and Colleen went OUT OF HER WAY to act as a personal concierge for some celebratory needs that we requested. Really, I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Valet of the moon!

She met us at our B&B--right on time--and was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the Sonoma area. She was very accommodating when we discussed our favorite wines and places we hoped to visit during the day. In addition to taking us to the places we requested, she managed to squeeze in several off-the-beaten-path gems that really made the day memorable. (Small Vines was our favorite--definitely worth a stop.) Also, she took us to a sandwich shop that we really liked, I wish I could remember the name. (I blame the tastings..) Regardless, Sharon is definitely a guide that cares about her passengers and makes sure that everyone leaves Sonoma with terrific memories.

If Damon suggests this itinerary for you, don't hesitate, do it!! We were supposed to have a sub who was a sommelier and he seemed really fun. He unfortunately got sick right before the day we had scheduled, so we had a third person, Louis. Louis was pleasant, although he didn't engage with us much.
