We left our favorite vape shop there (Stogies) and were a little worried if we'd find somewhere in San Angelo that compares. Let me tell you - not only does The Vape Stop compare, I feel that they exceeded all of our hopes and expectations. They are helpful, friendly, and they are incredibly knowledgeable about the products they sell and the service that they provide. As someone who helps run a business that is all about service and presentation, I have to say that these guys are head and shoulders above all other vaping shops in the San Angelo area. I am a person that is extremely concerned about cleanliness, and The Vape Stop is *spotless.* They don't overproduce their juices - you put in an order, and they mix it in their lab right on the spot. Their lab is kept disinfected and clean, and they use gloves whenever they handle your vape, juice, or charging equipment. I will never shop at any other vaping store in San Angelo. I came in the other day to buy a new vape and some juice. While I was getting helped out a customer walks in complaining that "the back of their throat is burning" after vaping with their new juice. The staff seemed full of excuses as to what could have happened structurally to the vape. I really didn't think anything of this event. They sold me a vape that was already plugged into a wall so I'm assuming it's already been in use for god knows how long. Very impersonal experience. The guy helping me through all this ended up over soaking my new coil as he talked nonstop. It didn't feel like you were in a business. I just sat and wait for 40 minutes roughly. Anyway so a few days go by and I get extremely sick. Weird huh. However, it doesn't seem to be going away now. I have no infection or viral illness. My symptoms are burning in the back of my throat, an awful cough, my chest feels like it's hot to the touch. I don't think whoever makes their in-store juice is aware that there are bad batches being sold to the public. Sometimes professionals make mistakes (?) I will NEVER be back again! read more

I've been frequenting "The Vape Stop" in San Angelo, TX over the last year and a half (or so). Hands down, it's the BEST Vape Shop in the that I've found so far. This being said, I've only been to a few in San Diego, Norfolk, Indiana, Chicago, Austin, etc. Where do I begin? On first entering, depending on the time of day, the store might be clear, or a thin layer of "fog" from the vaping. The store is very welcoming, and has a chill bar-type atmosphere, minus the drunkards and the table dancing. They remodeled several months ago, and it was a remodel for the BETTER. Appearance is VERY appealing, and often times, people do come in "just to hang out." FLAVORS/JUICE: Most of the juices here are made in the back room, and the "juicing experts" are always taking suggestions for new ideas/new combinations. The (4) sizes for juices can be purchased up to a 100ML bottle ($50) which I consider very reasonable considering the quality of the juice. "Flavor Tests" are laid out in an organized fashion, and flavor options are clearly written on menus and the newer ones are written on an easy-to-read blackboard on the far wall. Juices can be ordered specifically tailored to the PG/VG you desire, as well as the mg of nicotine you want (yes, they DO have 0mg). MERCHANDISE: The Vape Shop offers a variety of vaping options, anywhere from starter kits to build-your-own mods. I've found them to be very up-to-date with "the latest options." This being said- they ARE the best in town (my opinion), so they CAN and DO run out of stock, so if you have a drive to make, I would call in to double check. They also have reservation lists just in case they don't have the item that you need, and are pretty good about calling their customers the day that the merchandise is received in-store. When they call, they will give you the option of paying at-that-time, or coming to pick it up within the next couple of days. Along with the juice and mods, they also sell wire, cotton, coils, tanks, and extra parts for your vape. Again, I would call ahead to double check specific items in-stock if you have a drive to make. STAFF KNOWLEDGEABILITY/CUSTOMER SERVICE: I've been coming to the store since it switched owners and since before the remodel was done. Staff knowledgeability has fluctuated in that time. As can only be expected, not EVERYONE knows everything, however they are VERY good at having an experience/vape expert in the store at all times. Whether you're seeking help to switch from cigarettes to vaping as a means to quit smoking, or you just want to start vaping for the 'cool factor', you'll get sound advice and suggestions either way. Merchandise is NOT pushed at you as a "you need to have this" and staff members listen to what you need and offer suggestions based on their experience. There are a few staff members who have gone from smoking multiple packs a day, to now vaping juices containing 2mg of nicotine or less. I think I covered pros and cons above. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because stock isn't always there, but again, you can ALWAYS call in to double check. read more

Prior to this update I had a bad review of this Vape Shack. After working with both owners and building a rapport with them I have to say I'm very pleased with them. I understand now that they have a lab that exceeds current regulatory standards. So much in fact that any excessive rules / regs that might be put in place by law would not affect them whatsoever. They may even be on the way to being a prime example of standards! My bad review was based on a single individual / instance. Not the company as a whole. Hell, even I as a supervisor in the oilfield can relate to this at times. All in all, I will say I plan on going back and will even be contacting them in advance to see if they have or can get what I may require along my travels! read more

I was disappointed w this plac. Confusion on products and level of nic in there oils. I walked out w two other people.

This place is really inconsistent. Sometimes they have a ton of stuff in stock, and sometimes they have nothing. They don't seem to order from the same companies every time, so if you buy a specific piece from them you won't necessarily be able to come back for a replacement. If you come in when a manager is working you'll get great customer service-- otherwise you end up with some kid who doesn't really know what they're talking about. Their e-juice is good, and one of the only businesses in town that safely regulates their nicotine levels/purity, but I wouldn't buy anything else from them. read more

I love this place! Pink milk is my favorite e juice that they sell and one of my general favorites out of all the e juice out there. I even order it and have them ship it to me occasionally. I'm terrible with names but the older gentleman is awesome to work with! This is not to say anyone else is bad but he likes to experiment and knows his stuff.
