I was not greeted by any workers upon entry of the building. Nor did anyone ask me if i needed assistance. Once i gathered all the items i needed i walked up to the counter and placed them down. I told the cashier the last name on the account and asked to see some other products as well. She proceeded to look me dead in the eyes and say "i know you don't expect me to know the name on the account." immediately after i already told her the name. she was highly rude and not attentive at all. Her white male co-worker was no better and thought it would be professional to make comments on the vehicle i arrived in and who was driving it. I'm certainly not coming back because this isn't the first time i've had this treatment. it seems that any other person gets treated like a human in there even the dog. I believe the Vapor Bar in McKinney is the gold standard for this particular business focus. Extremely knowledgeable about everything in their store and the industry as well. Not good. The last two times I put in an order for liquid and called when it was supposed to be in ( generally about 5 days) it never came in. When I asked what happened to it they just said they don't know both times and asked me if I wanted to re-order. I can't deal with a business that unorganized. I tried to ask questions to compare their e-cigs to others I have seen and I would just get a one worded answer that just came off rude. I have experienced the grapevine vapor bar and the McKinney vapor bar. Let me start with the McKinney vapor bar. The first time I walked into this location here is my opinion and scores. Customer service: 1 out of 10 Helpfulness: 1 out of 10 The grapevine store: Customer service: 10 out of 10 Helpfulness: 10 out of 10 Costs are the same cant really help that as well variety is the same. If you are new to the vaporizers I would suggest the grapevine store they will get you setup and explain every piece and every flavors as detailed as you wish the to explain great for the new vapor customer. If you goto the McKinney store you better know what you already want or have a friend that can explain all the options for you whereas I get the feel in this store that either they are part of a closed click and your not part of it or that they just really don't care to be there.?? If you walk in with a vaporizer in hand be assertive and start trying yourself choose the oils yourself cause if there is more than one customer at the bar odds are you won't get to try anything. They sure are not going to jump to help you. If your a bit shy at new places make the trip to the grapevine store. The grapevine store when I first walked in the door I felt like I had known the staff for years I felt like I was an instant friend to them and explanations at the grapevine store are exceptional. Going to give 2 stars because they overcharge knockoffs trying to be comparable with genuine products. I was helped in a timely manner and the people were friendly, but I doubt anyone in there could even tell you what ohm resistance is. They do not sell legitimate Joyetech e-cigs. The quality of the 850 or 950 mAH (the lady didn't know) pass through battery I was sold is of way lesser quality than a Joyetech pass through. I was charged $31 for this battery only to find out it's not even variable voltage. There are multiple places that sell the genuine Joyetech VV pass through battery for $27. I asked about their Provari batteries they had for sale and was told they were $286 for the starter kit and that they didn't sell the batteries individually. At Provape.com (the manufacturer), you can get a complete starter kit for around $240 shipped. The juice selection is lacking also. I have run into this problem with knockoff batteries twice now. Vapor Cabana in Dallas also only sells knock off batteries (one of which shorted out no more than a week after purchase). DFW Vapor sells quality stuff at a fair price, but their flavors are all completely terrible.. All of them. Get with the program and distribute legitimate product. I decided to write this review because the most current review was from about 3 years ago... I frequent this shop constantly and have never had any issue with them. I bought a battery that somehow broke after 2 days and they replaced it with no problem at all and even gave me some complimentary coils and juice... I highly recommend coming in and picking the brains of the staff as they are very knowledgeable. The juices do what they are supposed to do for my liking. Very disappointed!! I've been going there since it opened! Went there a week ago for liquid and was given what was obviously old inventory! The packaging changed at least a year ago. The products are the best, and best priced, in DFW! I have found the best vapors and the most smooth and delicious flavors than anywhere else. It's also organic. I got a vintage pipe there that I adore, and I happened to have broken the stem of my pipe. When I came in, Cowboy took care of me. He got me what I needed and also got me a mod that made my flavor to savor. I'm real enthusiastic about the people that work there, -especially Cowboy, -the prices, and the quality of the juices. SO MUCH MANSPLAINING AND TALKING DOWN!! My girlfriend has been vaping for almost 5 years. Normally this is a great place to go to get her liquids and mods and tanks. Tyler is usually who she talks to about any questions and recommendations because he knows the technical information. The past 2 times she has gone in there, the gentleman that assisted her was not very knowledgeable at all. I came in with her this past visit and I understand her frustration. The employee talked down to her as if she didn't know anything. When I asked a question they assumed I knew what I was talking about. She asked about VV and VW on a few different mods and he didn't know. He kept trying to sell her the stick mods and mods that came out 2-4 years ago. And she had to continue telling him she knew what she was talking about. She continually told him that she knew what she wanted and she was knowledgeable about vapes. He kept talking down to her. They need to start carrying Mechanical mods, RDAs, and kanthal and get up to date. The "its not safe' thing is an excuse because 100s of thousands of people are dripping these days. I stopped going here a couple of years ago because of my move into mechanical and subohm style mods. I was informed by a friend that they had starting carrying up to date equipment and premium juices so I went back to check them out and was highly impressed by their new Forbidden juice line. Staff is still as friendly as ever and Crows Nest juice is one of my top 5 flavors now. Not only will I be back but its a once a week stop for me now. This is a great vapor store!! I'm not sure what store those other reviewers were in but the store I went into the staff was really friendly and helpful. Ryan helped me out for over an hour just to pick out a battery and a flavor or two, I'm very specific. Got the v-vid 1200 and I'm very happy with it. Also this store is certified by AEMSA(might be right) , which I have never heard of, but only shops that are responsible with their liquids are accepted as members. I've been clean from smoking for three years thanks to TVB. They are one of the best shops locally. They make sure you have all the tools you need to quit smoking. This is the worst e-cigarette place I have ever seen. Actually, it is the worst run business I have had the misfortune of visiting in many, many years. The employees turned viciously rude with the first question about a warranty (I had purchased a $50 product less than 24 hours earlier). They said none of their products have ANY warranty - to the point of ensuring that 3 salespersons reinforce the point to me. They also claim NO REFUNDS on the receipt (after the fact), which of course, is not legally binding. Basically, stay as far away from this business as possible. read more

If I ever had an issue with a product, they addressed it immediately and to my satisfaction. This review is for the E-liquids only, I have no issue at all with the staff and the place is nice. The E-liquids are the foulest tasting I've ever had and I've tried many brands. All have a chemical taste that is horrible. I've had others say the same thing so I know it's not just me. I have bought a couple of bottles and I've sat at the bar and tried most of their flavors, and something is just awful in their juices. Regardless of the questions I have or the rumors I have heard, they are always up to date on the "latest and greatest". These people actually go and Rock The WALLs in Austin for us PERSONALLY.. The owner takes great pride in the things she puts in our hands and the staff is educated accordingly. I have yet to find another shop that comes close to the standards and customer care I have seen from this company, not just here in Mckinney but I have also shopped at the one in Grapevine and both shops in the Houston area. I will agree with the other reviews that the staff can sometimes be not so helpful. However, if you ask for assistance it will be provided. I had this problem the first time I went and once I asked for help and expressed my interest in possibly making a purchase, the staff helped me as soon as they were able to. Prices are reasonable; yes, you can order most of what they sell cheaper online, but not by much. To me it's worth paying $5 extra for my Kanger ProTank, so that I can help support a local business and not wait on shipping. My Provari setup was about $40 over-priced. Normally I would have ordered it online, but I needed a unit in hand that day before I left for vacation. Plus if I have any issues I can go back to the store instead of having to email a website that sold me something. I buy almost all my electronics, car accessories, clothes, etc online, but felt more comfortable buying my vaporizer locally. read more

I bought my first e cig from them, and my second, and my third. Why so many? Oh yeah! Because they suck! I have had to replace it multiple times along with having to replace the charger. The staff is really nice, but the product sucks. There cartomizers are $12 ! You can go to Vaporesence for $6. And they don't clog nearly as fast as The Vapor Bars'. I have no clue what these other people had a problem with, but the people there are amazing. I just went in and bought my vivid variable wattage vapor ecig. Not only do I love it, but the people that worked there took so much time explaining everything and finding out what was right for me. They know their customers by name. I got home and realized the nicotine level was a bit high for me so went back next day and they gave me a free bottle of the lower nicotine and went over everything again. I recently took my brother in there one week ago and bought one for him. He loves it and has already stopped smoking completely. They gave us free 4 wicks and knew everything there was to know about their products, the flavors, and are so extremely helpful and nice. We actually sat their with them just chatting. I see these reviews were made last year. Take it from someone who has been in there several times recently, they are incredible. I would not go anywhere else.
