This is a speakeasy bar located inside Milroy's - London's oldest whiskey shop - offers whiskey and whiskey only. They have bookshelves full of old books at the back, and one of those bookshelves is actually a secret door, to a whole new world below. There is a tiny little sign by the bookshelf that says "The Vault." The candles and barrels, antique-looking furnishings, and cave or bunker-feel space...romantic, attractive, and welcoming ambiance. It seemed like a really popular bar, we saw people coming downstairs, only to be turned around with sad faces. If you want to make sure you get a seat, then reservation is highly recommended. As for cocktails, since they are in the basement of whiskey shop, whiskey takes the main stage. They also offer all sorts of cocktails that are non-whiskey. We asked our server for some recommendation, and he gave us really good ones! We each ordered different kind of cocktails. They were tasty, strong, and high quality. We enjoyed our drinks for sure! We had a really nice time there, the staffs were amazing with loads of knowledge when it came to drinks. I understand the reason why they are so popular... If you are interested in visiting this spot, make sure to get a reservation beforehand!

We had a little trouble getting into the vault only because we were embarrassed to walk through the bar to get to the bookcase. Also the bookcase is super heavy so we thought maybe it was closed but it turns out we just weren't putting enough strength into opening it. Once we got in and downstairs we sat at the bar and tried a number of the drinks on the menu and they were all super delicious. It was a little intimidating because a lot of the ingredients were unfamiliar to me but I chatted with the bartender and asked his opinion and just trusted him to make some thing delicious and he did. I really liked the buttered old-fashioned it was super comforting and as someone who's not a big brown liquor fan it was actually delightful

The decor and ambiance downstairs were fantastic. Jus the kind of vibe for a hidden bar and it was a delight. The live jazz on Monday night was fantastic as well... perfect soundscape for the bar and such talent. I also noticed it was perfect volume so you could still cary on a conversation if you wanted or you could focus on just listening to the music. Loved the secret entrance through the bookcase in back. Didn't think the bar tender in front needed to offer help before I asked- I think he could have given it a bit more time to add to the allure of the mystery. Still great though The drinks were creative and yummy and you could tell the bar tenders took pride in their work. To take it to 5 stars I think they could level up the cocktails even more with more nuanced and precise flavors... but I'm certainly being a harsh critic- it was great

My first stop on my euro vacation. This is a fine place to order a whiskey cocktail. You enter through another bar and find your entrance to The Vault through a hidden door in the back. It was most satisfying. I tried the coconut butter Old Fashion which was perfectly balanced( not overly sweet but enough coconut for a great finish) The vibe was lively there was Incense burning which paired with the moody esthetic. The waiter was friendly and recommended other places in London to visit. A must visit.

Expensive but different and interesting. Probably pretty good for a first date. Make sure you have a reservation.

And that meant we got to sit in this tiny tucked away little corner archway for just us 4 peeps and it was totally awesome. The cocktails were lovely and I really enjoyed our time here. Such a funky place. The cherry on top was the owner speaking to us after. It's really refreshing to have the actual owner come talk to you and show interest in how you heard of the place and how you Found (ha!) it. He was lovely, and so were the cocktails, and so was Found.

The smell of fresh paint, with it's a lovely warm atmosphere, magnolia walls, dark wood, candles on each table and lots of cocktails to choose from makes it a great after work or pre-party venue. I got the cocktail which was the first on the menu and it was called Frothy Lady (I think). Very sweet and hardly tasted the alcohol. The espresso cocktail tasted great too but couldn't taste the alcohol. So it got me wondering if they were being stingy or were they just really good. The jalapeño pretzels were really nice and the olives had too much lemon on them for my liking but I was hungry so ate them all anyway. It's next to The Book Club and a short walk from Old Street so if you're around give it a try!

It's located in an old wine cellar (the oldest in London) and dimly lit by candles. If you are looking for a spot that matches the dark and moody London aesthetic and offers plenty of history, this place is perfect for you. I was very surprised by the quick wait time. We travelled in August which is their busiest time of year and the most we had to wait for a table was maybe 10 minutes. This place seems to be a true hidden gem and more popular among locals than tourists. The cheese boards are delicious and just as unique as the place itself. They have plenty of flavors to choose from and have several different options depending on your budget. We went with the two cheese board and everything included paired perfectly with the wine. The staff was great at giving us recommendations and even let us sample several flavors before committing. We loved this place so much we decided to come back our last day for round two. If you are travelling to London, I highly recommend adding this wine bar to your list of places to eat or drink in the city.

Really cool atmosphere with a low cave ceiling, comprehensive wine list and lots of cheese, charcuterie and some other British favorites. We began with wine, rose bubbles and a glass of champagne- unfortunately my champagne was room temperature which is a per peeve of mine but the rose bubbles were served ice cold in a cold glass?! My husband did enjoy his wine! We were asked about food but they never came back so we decided to enjoy our drinks and the unique atmosphere before heading out
