We have been here several times. The Vermont Antique Mall is just that, it's a supermarket of antiques. If you are looking for something very specific, you will most likely find it here. There are several floors with aisles of merchandise. You can spend hours browsing for items. It's located in a strip mall with other shops including where you can purchase Vermont Cheese and Maple Syrup. You can also sample wine and spirits nearby. On nice days they sometimes have a flea market in the parking lot with all sorts of items including antiques. There is always ample parking. A must stop if in Vermont. read more

I visited again in November 25, 2025, and still find the Mall a delight. Some bloom is off the rose since my visits decades ago, but it is still a worthy stop, and perhaps the best Antiques mall I can think of in my limited experience. The complex's Cabot Cheese Annex, the fascinating Toy Museum, and the short-lived miniature gauge railroad are gone, but a place to by artifacts of bygone generations is still very much alive. read more

We had so much fun here! The Sweet Shop Candy Shop was amazing! Definitely picked up some goodies there! We went into the Antique Mall, it was HUGE! We spent an hour walking around looking at cool, some nostalgic... and just beautiful antiques. That particular day, it was pouring out! So it was a great place for us to enjoy indoors. Stopped in while in town and safe to say we did not get a chance to see everything there. They have aisles and aisles of items to see. In addition they also have an area to pick up all things Vermont. From maple syrup, cheese and other items, it is there. You are bound to find something you like or want whether you need it or not. read more

I absolutely love visiting this antique store when I'm vacationing in Vermont. They have a huge selection of unique finds. Even if you're not in the market to buy anything, it's worth a stop just because you never know what you might find there. I purchased a glass carafe and shipped it back home. This place is huge with a lot of true and interesting Antiques from the Colonial period plus lots of Native American clothing from decades ago- at outrageously high prices. Stalls at the Mall have a particular sell. The majority of items here- I think, are really holly-hobbyish- none that I like. Except for a rustic black metal keepsake box I found for $24. Antique Mall is like going through racks upon racks at TJ Maxx, Nordstrom Rack and Marshalls where you could end up with nothing or end up with that ultimate and unique piece. But...you have to go through every square inch of the store- just to find it. read more

Staff were helpful without being intrusive, and the assistance buttons scattered throughout the store were a nice touch, especially since there are three levels to visit. The really neat part about it is each stall is owned by a different person, so you never know what you'll find as you wander around. Badges, pins, stickers, vintage clothing, trading cards, glassware, silverware, portraits, beer tap handles, mugs, books, and so much more. Another cool thing is some of the booths offer 25-50% off at any given time, so be on the lookout for that. I found a cute pair of metal huggie earrings for just a couple bucks! However, several of the items are not appropriate to be sold because of their racist associations and/or cultural appropriation--they're caricatures. In addition, the one label on the stairs connecting the ground floor to the upstairs level is so outdated (and racist), I took a double take because I'd never seen the term used except in textbooks, documentaries, and museums, as a term used by colonists to describe the colonized--the "inferior" non-Western cultures and people. Aside from a handful of items and the label on the one step, I thought the place was fine overall. It gave indoor flea market vibes. Very large sectioned consignment shop with lots and lots of different antiques and collectible items. It's huge and if you can't find something here, then you really aren't looking for antiques. Some of it is very interesting and a lot of it looks like junk that was found in an attic or basement. But if you spend enough time here, there's good stuff. read more

Awesome place to get lost in for a few hours. It has a huge selection of everything you could imagine.

The easiest way to say this is there is a lot of walking to find out that everything is pretty much over priced. The prices of stuff out on the porch with faded tags that have been on the items for years tell the story. We have come here a number of times and have, on occasion bought some miscellaneous items but it took me all day to find them. The staff here is generally nice and is quick to find you and ask if they can take your stuff up to the front but there are a couple of people that are extremely anal about getting you out the door before they close and very concerned if you aren't lining up exactly where they want you to. They could work on their customer service and prices. Otherwise fun to walk the site. read more

When I'm in town I love to visit the Antique Mall. There are lots of vintage, and modern items that I love to see. It is definitely something I would recommend doing when I'm town. The only downside is that some things can be very pricey. read more

The Vermont Antique Mall is really fun to walk through. There is a lot of history and interesting items to be found. I particularly like that each small booth belongs to different people so it feels like each is curated in a unique way and each has something different to offer. It's a very large store with multiple levels. During this trip my kid found a really cute scorpion beany baby and vintage trinket box with doves. I would think that most people would have an enjoyable day browsing through the aisles of this store. read more

This is an absolutely massive antique store. It's my first time at a true antique store, but I was so impressed. I was so sad I had to leave. This is multiple floors of trinkets, furniture, paintings that reminded me so much of my childhood. From plastic Power Rangers lunch boxes to dolls to Magic Cards, this place seems to have it all. I'm sure there are certain undervalued treasures. I bought some items, and checked the value to what was online, and they were definitely comparable. Even if you don't plan to buy anything, it's worth visiting for fun. You'll probably end up leaving with something. Warning: if you have a shopping addiction or a hoarding problem, avoid at all costs. :-) The furniture area is in the basement. You can pay in cash for 10% off if your purchase is over $100. They also have someone that comes in a few times a week to help move heavier items. read more

Very fun stop! It's been on my summer bucket list since driving through town a couple months ago. Lots to look at and browse through the booths. Not much I really wanted other than some cast iron pans and a guitar! Mostly out of range for what I was willing to fork out. I did buy a few other things tho. A honey cookbook, maple shortbread cookies, pumpkin spice pudding, some honey sticks, a variety of candy-like cherry mash ( I didn't like it much ), goo goos which I love but can rarely find in VT and some penny candy! As you can tell from what I bought I love food and sweets a lot. I checked out the alpacas but had no quarters to buy the treats to entice them and they wouldn't come over to me! Oh well. Maybe next time I'll be more prepared. read more

I stopped at this facility to visit the Vermont Toy Museum, but they were closed for renovation. I was disappointed, but figured that I'd check out the antique mall. At first I assumed it would be very touristy given the overall focus of the shopping center it's in. But I was very wrong. It's one of the best antique malls I've ever been to. Wide range of items, most reasonably priced. I found a couple of treasures and gladly hauled them back to Las Vegas. I hope to visit again in the future. read more

Huge place with endless variety - from jewelry, books, toys, tools, knick knacks, sports memorabilia, etc. The Antique Mall is made up of countless vendors, so prices range quite a bit, but on the whole are generally reasonable. There are two floors and you could easily spend hours here and see only a fraction of the offerings. The hours suck; they close by 5 every day. I always make a trip out to Christmas shop for the people on my list that are hard to buy for. But I usually run out of time before I'm done shopping. Oddly, it seems staffed by people as old as the things they are selling. They can be a bit gruff sometimes, but are generally friendly. Added bonuses: attached is a free toy museum. Might not be the best ever, but you will doubtlessly find a favorite toy you'd forgotten about, regardless off your age! Also - the Cabot Store is attached with all of their glorious free samples. Plus, there are local craftsman shops and a vodka distillery. Worth your time if you're in to any of that stuff... read more

This place was great! I truly do think there is something for everyone here. There was a great selection of vintage glassware, and quite a bit of Pyrex, as well as a number of other things. The section of LIFE magazines was super cool and it was fun to look through all the vintage toys. The store is huge so make sure you budget enough time to look through everything. My first walk-through took an hour and my second was a bit shorter. And I kept seeing new stuff every time I walked by the same booths! The prices are definitely antique prices so I'd you are looking for great deals and cheap pieces, this is not the place. Some vendors had really fair prices for what they were selling, and many had 15, 20, or 25% of their entire booths. But other had very high prices, some justifiable some not. Most of the staff was very welcoming and helpful, there was a man who checked in every so often to bring the stuff I was gathering up to the front so I didn't have to carry everything around. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in the area, I'm sure you'll find something! read more

I just wasn't impressed with the "antiques" store in the little mall. I found it to have more of a flea market, collectibles vibe with antiques mixed into the deal. Idk, what on earth is being qualified as antiques these days. Seems it's whatever Junk can be hauled out of someone's basement, garage, attic or unearthed ... no matter the condition or what the heck it is ... well this shop has those types of items. I'm not saying they are all that way but just not impressed. I'd have to say there were some finds but I've been traipsing through these shops for forty years and this one ... They close at 5 p.m., so get there early and be prepared to find oodles and oodles of treasures. And just when you've found your fill of rusty gold and the like, there's an upstairs where the treasure hunting continues - fiestaware, retro lunch boxes, Life magazines from the 1940s, anything your little heart desires. I took my mom here during our visit to Vermont and took a random 2-hour drive back there yesterday from Massachusetts just to relive those great memories. Christmas is just around the corner - snag a Little Orphan Annie toy oven for the baby boomer in your life and relive memories of "the good old days." You'll feel better purchasing something from a local merchant and it will mean a heck of a lot more to them than that sweater you made a mad rush to grab just for the sake of checking that person off your shopping list. Tip: Snack on the Cabot cheese samples and don't forget to try the fantastic local wines - Putney Mountain winery has an outstanding Apple Maple wine that is perfect for mulled Halloween cider, followed by a sweet and refreshing Cranberry wine for Thanksgiving. Today I found an old blue opaline French glass vase for $8.00, a Dresden compote with gold decorations by Thieme for $67.50 and two gorgeous Sidney Callowhil Art Deco cups and saucers for $9.00. This shop is overwhelming filled with antiques and other great items. It's like a blast from the passed. 3 floors total of antiques and other unique items. Only this is some items are locked up so you will need to find someone and usually they will have to find the key holder. Definitely worth the stop, for a diecast model plane for my collection at a bargain of a price compared to eBay. read more

Stopped on the way to Killington to use the restroom. Glad we did! 3+ hours well spent. Old fun things for sale, Good little bakery, main entrance has a sample haven of Cabot cheeses and different flavored syrups and goodies. Toy museum was a nostalgic trip. Toys from early 1950's to now. If you were ever a child, there is a toy in here that you had! Soooo Fun ! Well worth a stop to hang out for a couple hours. read more

Horrible experience here. While passing through VT, we pulled off here to take a look and let the kids stretch their legs. I found an old cookbook that I wanted, but left empty handed. The lady at the cashier was beyond rude. She told us they would be closing shortly and she had both registers tied up with other customers. I said it was no problem and would wait. She replied that I could pay cash or not get the item at all. Will never be back to this disgusting place with rude employees. read more

Great place - really good prices i thought. Found several victorian gold leaf frames for 20 apiece, some good deals on books ( saw a first ed. Of nc wyeth illustrated book for 35$ ) prints, china, old tools. Saw good old machinist stuff for real cheap, Lots of vintage jewelry. Great booth with unusual and hilarious 60's stuff. Didnt appreciate seeing the one case full of Nazi flags and swastika junk- that stuff belongs at the gun nut shows i think, but hey, whatever. read more

I heard about this place, and I was in the area, so I stopped by. It's in a little compound, featuring diners, ice cream shops, gift stores, etc. This place is HUGE. They have 3 floors of antique booths, featuring over 450 sellers. Unfortunately, we arrived around 4:45, unaware they closed at 5. The booths are endless, fully stocked with unique items, and the price range is sure to have something for every budget. I was on the hunt for taxidermy, skulls, or religious items and my husband appreciated the old military items and antique tools. I barely made it around the first floor, until a little old lady with a walkie talkie told us 10 minutes to closing. So I scrambled upstairs, wishing I had so much more time! I found a pair of pheasants for $45 each. I grabbed one and found a nice little pair of antlers for $16. I found several beautiful framed prints, but did not splurge. I was also eyeballing some rotary phones, but at $125, I figured I could wait until one popped up at a yard sale somewhere. The people shopping there were friendly, older folks, many made comments about my purchase. The only downer was the check out clerk, who said "I didn't think we were supposed to have those in here", I guess she was referring to my stuffed bird.... Which was odd, because they had well over a dozen + taxidermy deer heads, boars, fish and birds... Then she said "Well I'm glad to see it go". So, other than the grouchy clerk, early closing time, I'll definitely be back there to browse further!! read more

This is a huge place with multiple levels & varied stock. Wouldn't want to be a dealer there, as staff is not very helpful or the one's I've encountered at least.. They aren't very knowledgeable & really could care less about sales for individual dealers, more like grocery check out cashiers. read more

Definitely nice quality stuff mostly overpriced partly because it's consignment. What the poor people who consign there may not know is... when customers go to check out, about 1/2 of them walk out without their purchases because the church ladies at the checkout are so slow. I think I'll stick with ebay. read more

I don't know how these people have been rating this mall with such good reviews. It is one of the worst malls I've been to. I have been an antique dealer for over 30 years and have been to many malls in the eastern US. This one is more of a collectibles paradise. read more

By no means I know antiques. We stopped on our way to VT at this place and stumbled upon some delicious food stands. There was a Thai stand which was delicious, the short cake stall was good and the hand made ice cream was good too. The ice cream was good, but neither out of the world nor special. read more
