I can officially say that I have received the worst hair of my live! This includes the buzz cuts my father gave me in grade school.

Quality of cut depends on barber. Most of the barbers spend too much time talking amongst themselves or on their phone.

Great prices for different cuts and shaves. Fast. Lots of barbers available to help. Downside is some barbers break the skin when lining the hair. Most do not. If you take your boys engage the barbers you know trim too low and break the skin. They are usually accommodating. Last thing is the English for some of the Latin only speaking barbers can be a tiny barrier for only English speaking folks. Love that they have pictures and numbers of the types of cuts on different hair types and hair styles. The language barrier is not an aggravating thing, because you can point and call out the number. Additionally, most understand hair trim fade levels 0-3. Again, a recommended place to take your family. read more

Barber chair Number 9 is absolutely trash pushes hairline back and doesn't listen. He'll ask you want you want and end up doing something totally different! You'll end up wearing a hat leaving the barbershop. read more

This was the 5th time I went to this barber shop. I have given them plenty of times to give me a good cut. The owner was my barber. The first 3 times, were great. The 4th time was a bad experience, he was yelling at one of his barbers. He did talk to me at all yelling in my ear the whole time. In Spanish, which I don't speak. Rude just downright rude. I gave him another chance. 5th time. I when on the day before my trip. Haven't seen my wife in a couple of months. My haircut is so simple, number 1 guard on his electric trimmer. It looked like I had my 10-year-old grandson, cut it. I didn't have time to get it fixed. When on a 12-hour plane ride to Alaska. Needless to say, it cost me $40 to have my hair fixed in Alaska. I highly recommend driving by this place and not stopping. I felt like I was discriminated against because of my race. read more

There are a few decent barbers in there but the last experience I had I won't go back. I'm pretty sure they had a very inexperienced person cut my sons hair. Ruined his hair and didn't listen to any of the instructions before hand. It could've been a language barrier issue but either way the person was poorly trained and didn't know what they were doing. read more

No,no,no,no Not good at all honestly I'm dead mad at the barber shop. They gave me a horrible haircut. I asked for a refine "some shadowing and instead he gave me a V-shape one the sideburns and he took like two chunks of hair on the back of my head. No cap. And he didn't even gave me the refine I asked him. I honestly think he didn't do worst because he got tired. I don't even want to go tomorrow to my interview with this haircut. The only thing he did right was clean my eyebrows a little. Because I asked him to lower the top part of my hair and he messed up there too. Honestly I don't recommend this place to no one. Definitely not worth the price. But if u want something cheap, unprofessional and not presentable at all then go for it. Finding a Good or GREAT Barber is NOT easy. But....I have found the best Barber Shop in the Apollo Beach / Riverview/Ruskin Area and this is it. The Very Best Barber At anyone time there are 8-10 chairs with barbers ready to cut - and they do a great job. You can't beat the $12 cut - and they have a air hose to get the hair off you. Yes - I tip very well. The chairs are relaxing and the results are fabulous. My man is Alex! He has been my barber since I got to Apollo Beach and I won't change!! I asked the barber to trim as little as possible, and blend the parts that were disconnected. (After 6 months of cutting my hair myself, it was in dire need of a professional to clean it up!) What I got, however, was a Dexter-like hack-job chopping 3-4" (4" is NOT a trim!); the left side was significantly shorter than the right side; I had hacks up and down and on all sides where holes in the hair were left from severely unskilled scissor marks. To be fair, if you have thick, course hair, I saw some decent cuts happening in other chairs. But if you have fine hair like mine that shows every error, stay away from this place! read more

Great haircut. Good with kids. Cheap. Overall great experience. Spanish is the primary language but all of the barbers speak at least enough to cut your hair. Also there are a ton of barbers so very limited wait time. A haircut is 12 bucks and 10 for kids and you get a real barber unlike sportzcutz or whatever it is called. read more

I cannot believe how many chairs they have. By far the most I've ever seen in a barbershop. I was a expecting a long wait but I was taken right away. I showed the barber a picture of the style I wanted and he said "no problem." The haircut was perfect. They also cut my daughter's bangs and didn't charge me. He did a fantastic job on my daughter's bangs. I cannot believe the customer service! I will be back because I truly am happy that I finally found a great place to get my haircut. read more

This place is consistently staffed with very good barbers...been coming here for years. I first tried this place when my PREVIOUS barber wouldn't take any more customers on a Friday afternoon because he was busy playing pool at the business next door.....I called the very best and learned their business hours are 8-8 and they open Sunday's too. This is not really a review but rather an observation. I was looking for an experienced barbershop and not the typical electric shear buzz. After I found the shop on the side of a shopping center and was about to go in my immediate observation was of a number of people waiting and most of the barbers applying their trade but at least one barber was lounging in his chair apparently waiting for the next arrival and he just did not look like the professional experienced barber I was hoping for. I tried this shop several years ago, and had a good experience. About the 3rd visit, I got the worst haircut I've had in years, so I avoided it for years. Recently, I looked at the reviews, and thought "everyone has a bad day once in a while", so today I stopped in again. I have a thick head of hair, parted on the left. I told the barber - I just need it shorter all around, but not too short. I think the only word he understood was "short". Maybe the peeled onion look is in, or something. I wear hearing aids which now show like a diamond in a goat's nose! I got this cut to attend a major social gathering in a couple days. I will wear a hat indoors. The army gave me a better cut in 1962. NEVER AGAIN, and all my friends will surely know where I got the look. read more
