Robbin assisted me fixing my booking mistake and then was my barber! To say she did an awesome job is an understatement! First her razors were sharp! It made the shave very clean and pleasant! She also offered suggestions on my mustache and goatee and proceeded to trim and clean up both to perfection! She took lots of care and concern with moisturizer and aftershave and was not rushed to allow my time in the chair to be as relaxing as possible! If I lived here, Robbin would be my barber as she was an absolute miracle worker for me during my visit! Went there on 6/17 for a skin fade and beard trim. The barber was very timid and seemed to not have much confidence in doing my hair. To form the line in the fade he would make a line brush, extend the line brush etc till he was all the way around. Horrible technique. Fade was a 5/10. Again I asked for a skin fade. Back of the head should feel like a baby's butt and he left a lot of hair. Beard trim, I told him what I wanted, basically a line up and he couldn't do it. He said this is what I can do. When he thought he was done the line on my neck was super crooked. It's a shame that I have been in tamp for 1.5 years and have yet to find a barber that can consistently do a great job on a fade and a beard trim. This place is over priced and from the experience I had I wouldn't recommend. I gave it two stars bc the atmosphere was cool. read more

LOVE everything about this place. My teenage boys were at first a little hesitant because of the "name" of the place. Pfft, boys. Anyways, when we walked in, I was already liking this place. The decor brings you back to the old 1940's barber shop times with a sexy flare. The vintage barber chairs were awesome, the framed pictures hanging on the walls, the round custom piece sectional, and the beautiful chandelier hanging from the ceiling...very cool. The young lady that sits at the front desk when you check in was super nice and welcoming. She is actually the daughter in law of the owner. I think I remembered that correctly. Next time I go, I'll make sure and edit if needed. See, I said, next time I go. What does THAT tell you. I had called to make reservations for the boys. Two haircuts and a brow wax for my oldest. We only had to wait 10 min because there was another client still getting groomed. No big deal. Everyone should expect to wait no matter where you go. My oldest one went first. Candace was our stylist. I showed her a screenshot of how I would like their hair cut, and BAM...she delivered. She has such a great personality and did such a great job! They literally had the best hair cut of all hair cuts. I was so happy with the way they turned out, and surprisingly, my boys did too. They loved it. The front desk girl was the one that waxed my sons eyebrows and did a fantastic job. No redness or swelling after the wax. He was very happy with the outcome. Now, even though this place is a little hard to find in the plaza, just get your google maps out and FIND IT! It's only been a few weeks and my boys are already asking me to call and make them appointments for their hair cut. This has NEVER happened before. They not only do haircuts, but also grooming for the MAN's MAN. They offer hot shave with full facials, grooming with clippers, and this is from head to neck, back, chest, under arm(s), you name it. Hand care, foot care, nose pore strips, whaaaat?!, and waxing. Oh, you want your shoes shined??? No problem. They have that service here also. Don't want to actually GO to the salon? I was told by a friend to check out RazzleDazzle Barber Shop as I was one day complaining about my mess of a mop on my dome. I decided I've had enough of my longer hair days and on a whim, woke up on a Sunday morning seeking out a new Barber Shop. I went to Razzle Dazzle and was immediately immersed in the decor of the place. I felt like I was in a speakeasy. Great music flowed from near the front door, (Sinatra, and the like). The place was very clean, and there was plenty of photos, artwork, props and memorabilia to look at. I was checked in and helped by Johnny. I explained to him my worries of covering a balding spot but not letting it look like a combover, and how I wanted my sides to be a lot shorter than my previous stylist had left them. He formulated a plan and got to work, he didn't face me toward the mirror very often which I loved, I did not get to see his magic at work... Meanwhile we chatted and I was offered a shot of vodka, rum or whiskey. I opted for a smooth shot of Whiskey which was brilliantly presented on a beautiful coaster in a nice shot glass. He later placed a cooled towel my head. I had a headache that morning and it just felt amazing. Between the Whiskey and the cooled towel, I was starting to feel tons better. After some clean up Johnny turned me toward the mirror, and let me tell you, Johnny is a WIZARD! I've truly never had a haircut that I've loved so much. He shaped my hair to fit my head perfectly, and left just enough length on the top to where I can style it many ways (such as a slick back, side part, or a quiff type style, or even just let it dry out and do its natural poof.) Don't let his soft spoken demeanor fool you, Johnny is extremely knowledgeable, and after talking to him about his chosen career as a barber, you can just feel his passion and enjoyment in helping people feel and look great. You will not be disappointed with him at all! After Johnny finished the cut, I was directed over to Robbin where I was gingerly prepped for nose hair removal. I've had wax nose hair removal in the past but Robbin did it so expertly and swiftly that there was zero pain. I was then given a hand massage and when she hit those pressure points between the thumbs and boy did that ever radiate some pain. Robbin took the time to explain the pressure points and spent a few extra moments working those points that seemed to help the headache further, along with another towel around my face for a short time. I can't remember if it was hot or cool at this point, I was just relaxed and feeling tons better, looking like a new person, and thinking ahead about going for the all out experience on my next visit. I'm usually not a fan of "Chain" barber shops. But wow... just wow. I'm impressed. I'm so glad I gave Razzle Dazzle a chance. read more

The atmosphere is really unique, like a Buca di Beppo meets a barber shop. They play classic music like Sinatra. The shop itself is very clean, which makes sense as I'll get to, but they pay attention to every detail here. A stylist and barber are typically mutually exclusive, barbers do you fade and line-up right, while the stylist does the hair style you want. They listened to what I wanted and even looked up pictures on the web as reference material. I have a fantastic hair style and fade with a straight razor line-up. I'm glad I gave this place a go and found my go to spot. I recommend every guy check it out. It's in a little of an odd location in the Winthrop town center, but just keep heading towards the new event hall building and it's in the corner. read more

What a cool barber shop! The shop was a little hard to find at first, because it's on the far left end of the Winthrop Village shopping center. Just face "The Barn at Winthrop" event hall and look to your right, there it is. Once you find it the first time, you'll have no trouble coming back. The environment is unique, something like a bit naughtier version of the bar at Bern's Steakhouse, with big comfy chairs, old school art and movies on the walls, corsets and stockings on the ladies, and Rat Pack music in the background. The service is as over-the-top as the decor. The haircut itself was well done with great attention to detail, but that was the half of it... it's the extras take it to another level. Let your "Dazzler" wrap a hot towel around your head and massage your shoulders and hands. I wasn't sure about this idea at first, but it was surprisingly relaxing. If there's one negative about this place, it would be my new pampered expectations for a haircut. I will be back! read more

Oh my god! I am so excited to see a RAZZLEDAZZLE in the Tampa/Brandon area! I've been to a couple of the Miami locations multiple times and always receive top tier treatment. The signature walk in and get dazzled is phenomenal but my excitement comes when I stand up from the chair and not a SINGLE follicle of hair is on my neck or in my shirt.. great experience every time and when your done getting dazzled you can leave the shop and go about your day! No showers or needing to change clothes from getting hair everywhere. 5 stars is too few... RazzleDazzle gets 6/5 stars! read more
