My Grandmother recently sold her home through Palmer Properties after my Grandfather passed away…read more This was a HUGE undertaking for her as she had never had to go through such a life event without him. She elected to go through Debbie Palmer and to be honest Debbie made a commission off of my Grandmother doing all the work. First, it took DAYS for the property to be listed on line and then once there were prospective buyers her realtors didn't even take the time to show the property other than a quick glance in the door. To make matters worse once the house was under contract and needed inspection Debbie did not schedule but rather told my Grandma to call the inspector herself. The original closing date was September 28th but was delayed because of the buyers financing which is to be expected however my grandma was already packed to move and Debbie could not even give a tentative date for closing. My Grandma stayed in an empty house for two weeks calling regularly to find out the date without even getting a courtesy call back. We ended up finally finding out the closing date from the Estate Attorney two weeks after the original closing date and then neither Debbie or her realtors could be bothered to represent my Grandmother at closing. The Real Estate Attorney, Joyce Patrick, explained to my grandmother than Debbie had told her earlier in this process to just call my Grandmother if she needed anything rather than going through the realtor. So what exactly did Debbie get 5K for? I am pretty sure that we could have just posted some pictures online ourselves and just hired Joyce Patrick and still had a better experience. I can't tell you how sick my Grandmother was with worry though this process and how worthless Palmer Properties was. I would give 0 stars if that was an option.
