Mary arranged to have a member of her team make a special trip to her wholesaler to personally select the flowers and ensure that they would arrive in time to be arranged. Since we had traveled cross country for the funeral we selected The Company of Flowers simply because it was near our hotel. We couldn't be more pleased with the service. When we were presented with the invoice we were equally pleased as we were expecting the cost to be at least twice the amount given the rush request. The owner claimed she had time for a delivery. We went over specifics and I couldn't have expressed more how important a butterfly in the arrangement was. By 2 pm the arrangement had not been delivered. I had to call to inquire and she stated that the driver had car troubles. Ok, things happen. When I got home and saw the size of the arrangement WITH OUT a butterfly, I was legit just beyond disappointed. Not only did it take all day, but to pay what I paid, with out a butterfly and for basically just carnations and mums, I should have just done the arrangement myself. I called to express my issue, the owner answered with what seemed like a party going on in the background. Explaining that the butterfly must have fallen off in transit, Claremont roads are bumpy because of frost heaves, and she could drop the butterfly off the next day. This place is a joke. I wanted to make someone special smile on a sad day, and this place sucks and is extremely unprofessional and shouldn't be doing what they do.

Chris's mother makes some beautiful decorated ceramics, on display inside. We bought more daylilies than I had expected, lol, and my wife even got a new cultivar named after a family member, additional fee required. Up the road a little (20 mins) from Brattleboro. Mail order catalog, too, and the shipping which we requested for a particular time in the future arrived right on schedule. Seasonal, obviously, so check when they're open, but I think I saw all 7 days listed during summer peak period.
