Copper Roux was very helpful to allow me to pay after our meal. They assured me that the food would indeed be fresh due to a new serving time beginning at 1:30. I know that we have all had a buffet service that was more for to feed the multitude and for the ambiance than for the taste of food. Unfortunately this was the case for there Easter Brunch.The food appeared to be left from the first brunch serving. My husband and I did not have any food that was hot or fresh from the buffet. All of the hot food lids were open, there was a choice of 4 pieces of Fried chicken, the corn pudding pan had a square left and was sitting in a pool of water. I saw our server 2 times first when she came to take drink orders, I asked for orange juice and she did not answer so I ordered water, later I saw orange come around the corner for another quest and I said to my husband,hmm they do have OJ. Then at the end of my meal I received an orange juice. Bottom line is they are very communicative getting you set up for a reservation and I am hopeful that on a smaller scale there quality of food and service would be what one would expect for 2 people at $97. I would not recommend or attend a special event brunch at this restaurant based on food and service.

Even though I was hesitant at first; what can I say the venue itself; it is sensational, perfect with the backdrop of the rolling hills of Kentucky. As for our son and daughter-in-law, they fell in love with it the first time they saw it. There is no need for additional décor as Moonlight Fields has it all covered with the grounds that are pristine and the fitting decorated (Man Cave), adding anything else to it would have taken away from what is already a perfect setting. The owners and staff are so accommodating and cannot do enough for you. They are proactive; you are treated like family from the time you arrive on the big day, to the time you leave. I cannot recommend the staff & venue highly enough; I don't think we would have had such a fantastic day if it wasn't for them. Our guests were blown away by the venue, the setting, the food (our son & daughter-in-law chose City Barbecue), the staff, the service; seriously, people are still raving about it. I parked on Second Street by some law firm for a small fee. A good tip when the weather is freezing is to take the elevated pedways. One begins at the 5th/3rd building, the tallest blue-glass building in North America. It's like a maze, but the kids enjoy it, and Indian visitors find it fascinating, too. Takes you straight to Rupp Arena. The bottom line is, if you have the opportunity to attend a game, be like Nike and do it. On a side note, a friend mentioned the arena isn't that great for concerts due to the acoustics and angle of the seating, and that it was meant for basketball only, but I don't have any input since I use an interpreter.

She gave a few options for the layout of the reception and how things would "flow" but I deferred to her judgment as I thought she would know what would be the optimal way. For selecting our menu, we had so many options. We decided to do a buffet-style dinner so people could have more choice over their meal.
