I have been a customer for 8 yrs at this location. Every employee has been wonderful until today= the last time I will ever walk into this store. As I finished purchasing my supplements , I asked for a bag. The nice kid named Shane politely explained that now you have to purchase bags. I politely responded back to him with a smile and humor that that's kinda ridiculous. All of a sudden out of nowhere this snarky , obnoxious, high as a kite manager named JANET screamed and gave me a 3 minute unnecessary lecture how plastic bags are destroying the world. I get it but to throw a tantrum with a grotesque smile on her elderly face was unnecessary and extremely unprofessional. I told her to go hug a tree and I walked out. I hope corporate reads this and expels JANET (again high as a kite) from her current position. read more

Alex is a very good boxing coach from MMA Miami Beach, we met him when he was just about to leave and my son loved his lessons. And we were bummed to see him go. As luck would have it we just ran in to Vitamin Shop randomly even though it's 5 min from home and we have other stores next to us, but we were surprised to see Alex here who is amazing with his great energy and a happy go around vibe! RUDE. I'm in kind Of in a hurry I just need one thing in the store i know exactly where it is it would take under 3 minutes. The sign right on the door says open at 9. I see 2 guys in there, all the lights on just chatting with eachother having a good ole time I walk up to the door they say 10:00! Really ? What else do you have to do ? Not only that but the poor gentleman in front of me took like 5 minutes to get his walker out of the car and make it to the front of the building, could barely hold on to that while trying to knock on the door, turned him away too so they could finish their little conversation. REAL NICE GUYS ! I shop here at least once a week and spend over 100 sometimes 200+. This is how you treat your loyal customers at your small business during time of crisis ? I'll never be back. And I probably have over $100 in bonus points too. read more

I went into the store because they sold me a damaged nut butter that I did not realize was open until I took the lid off. The older woman at the register was so rude to me, it made me uncomfortable. They didn't have the product in stock and she told me I had to drive 12 miles west to another store. Then she tried selling me a different product all together (that was more expensive). I ended up just leaving with the damaged product. I most likely will not be back here. read more

Huge selection of products. I like that they have organized the selection of goods into functional areas, meal replacement, weight gain, pre workout post work out, vitamins, all natural, and so on. In most stores of this size I get quickly lost and confused by the over marketing and random selection, but not here. Staff is very knowledgeable and claims to use many of the products they sell, or have at least tried them. This was exceptional as I was looking for a meal replacement with specific requirements and they showed me a set of options that really helped me choose. I notice that the other customers are serious about their health too, which is good to see that a store like this is not just attracting the young prairie chickens looking to pump it, but marathoners and exercise and fitness fanatics. And the occasional octogenarians wandering around on walkers! I signed up for the rewards card, when I usually don't, but I am surprised by the value in the offers sent to me. In fact, about 30 days after my purchase, I received a nice email with a discount to resupply on the product I had purchased, very helpful. Glad they are nearby and friendly. read more

Great customer service and selection of products. Last year I had purchased a bunch of items my doctor suggested I take and because I've been moving around a lot, at the beginning of the year I lost the box with all my products. Today I walked in and Trish was kind enough to help me. She was able to track down the exact list of products I purchased over a year ago. She was the BEST! She took her time to help me find all those products and suggested other products that would also help me. I felt comfortable with her and did not feel rushed. I totally recommend this store. Trish was very knowledgeable of all the additional products I was concerned about. Oh and I saved some money as well. Thank you. read more

New Vitamin Shoppe opened out of nowhere in Boca. Good location although I was hoping they opened an IHOP there. Somehow each Vitamin Shoppe seems to carry different brands. In business terms their inventory is not standardized and uniform across the supply chain. If at all that is what they do. Either ways, good, clean store. Knowledgeable staff and decent parking. I love the Vitamin Shoppe and have never had any issues until visiting this specific location. The issue I have is the customer service is awful. The male employee with long curly hair has been rude and very condescending to me all three times I have been to this location. If customer service is of high value to you, I highly recommend visiting a different location. read more

Horrible experience multiple times, dealing with horrible people who seem to not care about their jobs and peoples health concerns. But how could they when they have to go to go the computer, and search Google all the time, just to give an answer to a question you may have. Most of these people who work there, no nothing about vitamins! This goes in particular to this store in East Boca Raton. They will screw you out of your money and they lie just to get a sale. Then make remarks behind your back with no regard that people can actually hear them. Don't go to this place for any health concerns, there are plenty of better vitamin stores out there. Also go ahead and return anything, without a recipe, if the bottle is even empty, and if they say anything about that they cannot do it, just complain and they will have no choice but to do it... stop screwing over the public! this company is no better then Walmart....Enough said! read more
