I use that terminology because that is the sincere rare caring that has been shown to me many times over . That atmosphere is established first by the owner Pharmacist Dave , and is a welcome contagious one , " caught " by each of his staff. Hmm...I suppose that would be the only contagion that would be welcome there . One 4th of July I forgot to refill my important medication before the store had closed. Dave left his family barbecue to open the pharmacy for me . He arrived to help me with his consistant kindness, while he had every right to feel otherwise , since it was my lapse in memory that dragged him back to work that day. There is not one chain of pharmacies around our town that would have unlocked their doors on a closed Holiday to let me in and fill my prescription . Thank God for the dedication of the staff at this pharmacy and others like it that are comitted to maintain a higher standard of excellence while facing all of the challenges that are inherent within the choice they made to bring an independent home town pharmacy for all of us to benefit. He provided me with all the information I needed and answered all my questions. There was no pressure to buy and after over 1/2 hour of conversation I purchased the oil. I returned to my brother's house and he anxiously tried the oil. I stayed with him along with his wife and nephew and within an hour he started to calm down and we were laughing and talking. I left his house feeling very optimistic. The next morning my brother called to tell me he was amazed at the oil. He slept thru the night and felt much better. His mood has continued to improve and after a visit yesterday he said he was feeling so good he helped with the housework and was going outside to swim in the pool. There, in the bottom two shelves was their collection of what we needed. It wasn't a huge selection, but enough to make an informed choice. Melatonin was well represented, but I wanted something with a broader spectrum of natural compounds and herbs that worked together and allowed that people react differently to supplements, thus increasing the chance that one or more ingredients would be effective, even if others were not. I found something with both melatonin and valerian root and 7 other natural elements that have shown usefulness relaxing and helping move toward and into sleep. It seems to be working so far. My wife is now sleeping through the night and falling asleep more quickly when ready. Will let you know if that changes.
