Also, some items had the expired sale price listed, and therefore again rang up more expensive at the register... but they honored the sale price since they forgot to take them down. I inquired about a few products, the bcaa price was in the right ballpark, another supplement was quoted at almost double the price (it's a brand I'm familiar with and a product I've purchased many times from several different sources). From all the different quality products, the amazing customer service, and the overall environment... it's always a great experience. I feel like the staff really create an environment where customers feel they can ask questions and really get an educated response from the staff. If I were a vender, this would be a place I would be proud to have my products on the shelf of, because I can tell they believe in what they sell. Now, before ordering off of Amazon or going to Publix or Walmart, I check to see if the Health Food store has the product first. Not only do they normally have it, they have different quality options and some from local suppliers. I stopped in here yesterday to pick up some stuff for my mom. She just had surgery and was at home resting. But she needed some things refilled, so she gave me the list. As I walked in, Manny at the counter was assisting another customer. I grabbed a basket, and began filling my mom's order. Most of the things she wanted were easy to find. On a couple of them I had to call her and get clarification on the exact item she wanted. As I was looking for the last couple of items, an associate came out from the back and offered to assist me. He helped me find the last two items that I wanted. On one of them, he showed me two different options. I wasn't sure which one of the two my mom gets, but he told me that Manny would be able to look that up in the POS. So, I went to the counter and asked Manny for assistance. I gave him my mom's name, and he was able to find out what it was that she gets. He also helped me find another item that I wasn't sure about. With the order finally complete, he began ringing up my transaction. While he did so, he asked how my mom was doing, noting that she usually comes in by herself. I liked that he remembered my mom by name. Showed me that he cares about and is attentive to his customers. When the transaction was complete, Manny thanked me and wished me a good day. I did the same, and left, very satisfied with the wonderful experience I had at the store. I realize that this is a very limited experience, and I would have to go back a few more times to get a more accurate reading. But they made a very good first impression on me.
