During the visit, I used the restroom--something I've done before at this store without issue. When I exited, I was confronted by a store associate named Zach, who questioned why I had used the restroom without asking his permission. At first, I thought he was joking because of his tone, but I quickly realized he was serious when he began cursing at me in front of my son. This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. A loud verbal disagreement followed, and I requested to speak with management. The only resolution offered was that Zach was told he should not curse at customers. That response made it clear to me that customer well-being is not a priority here. Because of this experience, I am ending my membership and will no longer do business with The Vitamin Shoppe. Respect and professionalism should never be optional in customer service.
