I was in this vitamin shoppe location a few weeks ago shopping for flavorless protein powder, creatine and glutamine. There was a young man with curly hair, I believe his name was Brandon. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about the products, which I don't always see when I visit this location. Most associates do not have any understanding of the products when you have questions. So I was excited to speak to someone who could give me feedback that I needed. There is almost always a buy one get one 50% sale at this location too. Very disapointed as I been a customer of Vitamin Shoppe for many years. My doughter bought vitamins for me and the sales person did not give any discounts. I get every day emails from vitamin shoppe with all kind of deals. I call company and chat with a representative. To my big suprise she did not honor any discounts. They lost 4 clients. You can purchase cheaper and faster same day delivery from any company. I give up. Bravo you raise a good crew. I gess the company do not care. read more

I have to say Im not one for taking supplements and vitamins, but I do realize that I need to especially based on the amount of activity and training I do, and even then I try and limit as much as possible. I came to this store because they carry a particular brand of protein chips. I called ahead and they had them so I went over to get them. Upon walking in, I saw a rep from Sun Warrior with discounts on protein, so I knew I was going to have to purchase a container and she was nice enough to give me an extra coupon. Anyways, back to this store, I was actually surprised how much variety was there and how jam packed the store was with merchandise. A lot of it is stuff I would never buy, but there was other products I would and lets just say I was impressed with this store over GNC and other vitamin stores I have seen. Will I be back, perhaps. The chips I came for they only had 2 flavors and didnt have the 4 OZ bags, so I know I can get better deal online but Im hoping they can get the larger bags because that would make me come in more regularly. I definitely want to check back in and spend more time looking around and price checking a few other products I saw. Overall, this is a great store to visit if you buy vitamins and supplements. Its located in a semi-busy plaza on the south side and there is usually parking available. They share the plaza with other popular stores like Burger Fi and Panera, so if you are getting some grub, go in and check this place out afterwards. read more

I am shocked at the previous review regarding helpful staff, TRYING IS NOT ENOUGH: If I could give ZERO stars I would! Vitamin Shoppe, particularly this location and others, has to be the worst place for purchasing vitamins/supplements unless you educate yourself 100% first. The sales staff and managers are totally clueless when it comes to being knowledgeable about the simplest of products!!!! This includes even knowing what the store typically stocks, where products can be found within the store and the use and benefits of the various vitamins/supplements being sold in the store. Again, not even knowledgeable about common products. Not to mention how over priced they are! I gave them 3 chances, had to walk out of the store all 3 times out of sheer frustration at a lack of ability to assist me and others. Vitacost.com is the place to shop. I normally go to the Vitamin Shoppe on N.E. 123rd and Miami and decided for the 1st time to go to another store and claudia was the one helping me out. From the very start it was horrible. No customer service and she lacked information on any vitamins. I wanted to ask the other gentlemen for help but he was too busy putting boxes away and I did not want to bother him.
