I come here for the energy drinks on occasion but there's a really rude bitch with curly hair and glasses that works here. Let me tell you I have been going to this particular Vitamin Shoppe for more than 20 years as I live in the area. Over the years there have been many changes with the crew and the management of this particular store. But let me tell you one thing... Erin who is the manager and her crew are one of the best teams that they have had in this store in a very long time. The staff is not only courteous, but they are knowledgeable with the product line... someone from the staff will always greet you when you come in the door and they make sure that if you have questions, they are there to answer them to the best of their ability. If you need help finding a product, Erin or one of her team members will help you with that too, and their attitude is always very friendly. There is real service being given at this place... I have nothing to complain about. It is definitely my go to place for shopping for supplements or nutritional supplies. I give them five stars... Great store. Always clean, and usually always stocked, except when you go looking for the new Bang drink. It's a little pricey, but they have everything and it's a well kept store. I've been taking vitamins daily, the only vitamins that I haven't been taking regularly is my calcium. As pictured you can see why. I was at work telling a co worker about the effort I have to go through. in order to pull my calcium vitamins apart, to take them. This topic came up when she saw me trying to swallow some of my gigantic ones. I live in a small town and I know pretty much everyone who works in the vitamin Shoppe. Usually because they're pleasant. I can tell you that there is a new manager however and maybe she didn't remember me. Although we had a long conversation about how she just moved to our city from another state. She is now the very reason why I will not elect to do business with the " The Vitamin Shoppe". As mentioned after telling my co worker about what happened to my calcium it dawned on me that maybe I could just exchange them (after all it wasn't my fault). All my vitamins have been stored the exact same way. So I took them in-store today to ask for an exchange and they asked for a receipt. With everything being electronic of course I don't hold onto receipts but I offered my debit card and my membership information. The guy began telling me that if it's more than 30 days old then they couldn't exchange. Which was fine, I said if it happens to be more than 30 days old. Just give me a number that I can reach out to. My thought was, although it's understandable if they can't do it in store. Someone else in another department would be able to rationalize and exchange the vitamins. Considering the fact that there's no way I could finish 100 capsules in 30 days. Also I had just spent $75 in store less than two weeks prior. He however took the statement personally and began to get worked up at the "audacity" I had to ask for a number and began telling me that it was policy. In which I replied that it's ok. I was just saying there's no way that I could finish 100 capsules in 30 days and definitely not if I have to reach my fingers and try to pry apart capsules. He was still visibly upset which caused the new manager to come over and make matters 100% worse. She told me that if I was unhappy with the outcome (basically if the vitamins were purchased more than 30 days prior). That she was going to be the only person I could talk to. Concluding therefore that no I wouldn't get an exchange. Then added that my bottle felt hot so she knows it hasn't been stored properly. The comment about the "warm" bottle is the reason why I will never in my lifetime and I'm only 28 years old! Ever spend another dollar at my local "The Vitamin Shoppe" and just might decide to stop fueling the company all together. There's plenty of places that sell vitamins, and have way better regard for their customers. It may be your policy but it's definitely not mine. I'm not mandated to do business with any company and it's laughable to try and tell me that there's no one else in the company to speak to besides her. Let alone a company that will throw my money down the drain and then take a defensive tone. Then lie in my face (saying my bottle feels warm) if my vitamins had been stored improperly then please explain how my other vitamins were/are perfectly viable! Only thing I can conclude is DO NOT buy their personal branded vitamins apparently the quality is poor. read more

Came into Vitamin Shoppe and the guy that was working here, Jake, he was sitting at the cash registers on his phone asked where an item was and just said and pointed "it's over there" like please no don't get up. Finish up our shopping, came back to the register, asked if we were ready, calls over his associate Shyee, who was awesome helped us out and apologized for what happened, saw him walk out and he waited next to the door, not sure if he was waiting for us to leave but he went back in after we left.
