I had a terrible experience with one of the employees today, I have no idea why he got angry at me! Initially he was friendly and very helpful, he was answering all my questions and gave me great advice. Everything was going good until I called him by the name on his nametag, he immediately turned hostile and got up in my face. He told me to not call him that "fake a$$ name" and told me to mow the lawn or something. This was a intimidating experience despite this employee having very small legs for his frame. I have been going to this GNC store for years..Stop in today to do exchange..Not sure what the guy name is but ,he's been working there for 5+ years I think he's a manager.. While do my return he didn't want to add my coupon to my Exchange saying the system would let him do it.. so I asked him could he do the return first then add the coupon to the new purchase ,he said that was too many transactions.. I Ben at this location many time. But yesterday was my last time shopping there. I got there around 4:45 pm. I started to look for some product But they have so much that I was lost finding what I was looking for. The black lady that was at the register did not help me to find my product or say anything wile she was talking to another black guy nothing related to any product or the store i kept looking around but I desire to exit and she still didn't offer any help. Even that the guy she was trying to hit on was gone. They normally have good guys helping to find things that I always walkout with more then what I need. read more

So I went in today to complain to the manager about the same guy, overcharging me, twice already (someone isn't doing their job correctly). It's very frustrating. The manager seemed nervous, he kept repeating himself. Told me it's definitely not the first time someone has complained about getting overcharged. He started talking about how the system works. How they get audit and if they mess up the hold store fails. Like I don't care. Didn't apologized, didn't offer my money back, didn't asked for my info. Nothing to solve the problem. Told him he should talk to his employees, how are you going to be ok with people complaining about getting overcharged. Do your job. So disappointed. read more

I stopped here on my way to work thinking I could just run in when they opened at 9 and get right back out I knew what I wanted. The dude on Monday morning running the store unlockd the door at nine walked out locked the door behind him and said I'll be back in 5 minutes. This is for the GNC Palmdale store in the Antelope Valley Mall. First of all when I walked into the store the lady ( older lady, grey hair with a pixie haircut ) working seemed annoyed that I came in. Then she started helping another customer who came in after I did, she started talking to the customer how a product works and saying it would give you tons of energy after dealing with "bratty toddlers" my guess is that the customer was some sort of daycare worker or something. The lady then looked over her shoulder and saw my daughter and said like the one in the store. She finish with that customer. I was beyond pissed at this point. My daughter has never had a fit or acted out anywhere. I grabbed the product that I was looking for and then had to wait another 10 minutes in line while she decides to chat with the girl who was stocking the floor. Then acted like she didn't say anything about my child and didn't apologize for the wait time. Needless to say I will NEVER shop at another GNC store again. read more

Ok now before there's any misunderstanding I'm not complaining about this store. I'm complaining about the new GNC right next to the Chuckie Cheese, but they don't have the store on the GNC website or Yelp yet. I came in looking for NOXYGEN and to see if they carried anything else from purus labs. I was greeted by a young man maybe around my age and he immediately started to help me, which is fine, but after I told him I was just looking he wouldn't leave me alone. I never write reviews but I was so annoyed because it seemed like he was willing to tell me anything in order to make a sale. He really tried convincing me that he gained 20lbs of MUSCLE in 2 WEEKS taking CLA, creatine mono, and some mass gainer. 20lbs of MUSCLE!! On top of that the prices are a little too high and some of the tags are misleading. If I were to pay for a gold card the thing told me I would be saving $5 off the NOXYGEN, but the members price was 29.99 and the regular price was 32.99 The store has only been in business for 2 days and I just happened to be in the area checking it out. Needless to say I won't be coming back ever again. And for you yelpers, I'm sure the store here in Lancaster commerce center is fine, and the one in the AV mall is cool too. I'm just talking about the new one next to the Chuckie Cheese's, across the food 4 less. read more

I know there are a lot of places that might be cheaper to buy your supplements but when it comes to knowledge about their products this place has it .
