I came in looking for a small sized multivitamin that was easy to swallow. I didn't find exactly what I was looking for. The guy that helped me had a couple of alternative solutions including opening a capsule and pouring the granules into some yogurt. I didn't buy the capsules because I needed to check with hubby on what he wanted to do. But I did appreciate the helpful assistance. The guy working behind the counter was incredibly friendly. I told him the thermogenic I was looking for and he walked me right to it. He also gave me a couple samples to try similar to it. Ran into this store during lunch. When you first walk in there were boxes and boxes of product lines up by the window and you couldn't even walk through the first isle. I looked around and even the isles were organized by any reason. Almost every shelf had huge empty sections. It was overwhelming to find anything. There were three employees working and they all seemed out of sorts. I asked the girl checking me out and if they were remodeling or something and she said no. She just said that was normal. Great service and great prices. They have brands here that you cannot find anywhere else. I don't like to order from other companies online as have done this before and found that the vitamins I ordered had were close to the expiration date. I have always found the vitamin's expiration date at Vitamin Shoppe to be at least a year out. This explains the cheaper prices at some online sites. read more

Normally have good experiences here but today I went in to buy a some protein and some BCAAs and wanted to use an online code from THEIR website that they emailed me. The lady behind the counter said I had to order it online first, which while it is frustrating, I understand how things like this work. Once placed online, I'm told it can take up to 4 hours before I can pick it up......keep in mind I'm LITERALLY holding the items I want. She was NO help and just starred at me blankly saying I was essentially SOL. I will just start ordering from Bodybuilding.com instead of dealing with this. read more

3 clerks working here including an assistant manager- David. No other customer in the shop but me. Each clerk walked past me and as I started to ask for help they walked off, like they were avoiding any interaction with customers. The assistant manager and a clerk were arguing about the cash register count most of the time I was in there. I heard one of the clerk saying "oh yea I can't wait to get off at 3" and walked right past me even looking at me. This store team needs a attitude adjustment. I was looking for a specific mineral and finally got fed up with the rude staff and left. Wont be back to this Vitamin Shoppe. read more
