We had Julie install wallpaper in our nursery. She did a PHENOMENAL job! The wallpaper is a mural which can be very difficult to install, but Julie did so flawlessly. You can barely tell where the seams are and the they match up perfectly. We also had her prep the wall to ensure no bumps would show through, and it was definitely worth the extra cost. She works alone and very quietly and I was able to go about completely uninterrupted in my daily routine. She was very clean and actually wiped everything down after she floated and sanded the walls. I hired Julie about 20 years ago to paper two bathrooms and a powder room. The paper in all three rooms still looks as good as the day it was pasted on the walls; never one single paper issue in all those years. It was obvious the work was a quality job immediately after it was complete - it's also now obvious those looks had longevity! I wanted to re-paper the powder room only because I wanted a different color in there, changing from the tan/neutral grasscloth to a blue/navy grasscloth. I'm delighted with how things turned out - both her guidance on paper selection and the expert craftspersonship with which it was installed! Julie suggested placing the strips differently this time. The strips on the left of the sink are the same width, and the short strips above the vanity are all the same width. The 8' strips on the wall to the right of the sink are the same width, and ditto the short ones over the fur-down. She informed me that it's what paper hangers call "balancing" and while it takes a little more math, time, and and an extra double roll, it definitely looks much better. When she comes to visit, she surveys and measures the space, listens to your ideas, fields your questions and then offers you her EXPERT ADVICE if asked. My quote was turned around very quickly.
