The people of Warkworth is now the envy of all Auckland shoppers not prepared to make the way up the Northern Motorway. Katya Maker stocks a unique range of shoes imported from Bulgaria, and provides a personalised service that is missing from so many stores these days.

The stock varies quite a bit, and although sometimes there's not too much in the store, I always find something new when I pop in. Debbie (who owns it) is such a vibrant lady and always greets you with a beaming smile. It's hard to categorise the age group 'Love this Shop' would appeal too, there really is such a mix. But I think anyone that is after something special, made with care and individual would appreciate what they're trying to do here

I once thought Dianne's was just for 'mums', but these days I usually find myself heading to the fitting rooms with a fistful of clothing (perhaps I'm just getting old). Some of it is an older style but there are also many funky, individual items that are pretty contemporary. There is a great variety of fabrics and all good quality. They have a great range of 'special occasion' items; a perfect place for a summer wedding outfit or a special piece of jewellery.

I was greeted in a very friendly way and asked if I was looking for anything in particular, which was very helpful as there are so many nice things you don't really know where to start, especially if you are looking for something specific. The Bach Surf shop has been present in Matakana village for many a year since the early part of this millennium. I love the brands they offer- my faves are Billabong, Quicksilver, Sea Folly, Dragon and Havaianas. So remember if you have mistakenly left your sunnies or hat at home on your way north, pop in to The Bach and they will provide you with style and quality.

We found The Warehouse and it looked to be like a Walmart or Target. They have gift card options in values of $25, $50, and $100. So, we bought a couple of Warehouse gift cards and requested them to be delivered to our family in Mt. Albert. They received the gift cards the next day and were very delighted! Although I've never been to The Warehouse yet.. their customer service is definitely top notch if they're able to deliver their products sooner than scheduled. They also enclosed it in a gift envelope which had our personalized message on it.
