It was so loud when we entered I couldn't hear anything the girl at the register said. There were many chaperones but no one was actually managing the kids. The place is not that large and it was wild. My granddaughter is 3 1/2 and could barely maneuver around. She had toys taken out of her hand by the older, larger kiddos and you couldn't hear a thing it was so loud. I did talk to a worker from the museum and asked if there's a place to find a schedule and she kind of brushed me off. I gave 3 stars because if you go on a "normal" day it's great for younger kids.

We arrived on a Monday morning, left for lunch, and returned for more play until the museum closed at 4PM. The museum is technically two stories, although the first floor mainly consists of the admissions desk, a small gift shop, and a water play station. Waterproof smocks or covers would have been nice since my son's shirt did get quite wet. There were boats, fishing rods, and cascading channels of water for various kinds of water play. This was a hit with both of my toddlers. The second floor had much more activities. From large and small foam blocks, Magnatiles, a scarf suction pipe/chute, books, light tables, brite light pegs, and a mini spiral climbing structure, to a dentist's office, pizza and salad restaurant, fire truck, tree house, farmers market, farm, toilet to teach plumbing, aluminum recycling, color wheel, and much more, there was a lot for kids of all ages to explore. There was also a small sectioned-off area for 0-2 infants and pre-walkers. The space hosts birthday parties as well as STEM classes. The staff were lovely. We were given a stamp in our hands before we took a break for lunch so that we could re-enter for free that same day. The only complaint I have is that there was less in the way of offering arts and crafts or even free-form drawing. We did not see any parking lot, but took advantage of free 2-hour street parking. This is definitely a great spot for families with young kids in Oswego.

Eventually when they did, they were rolling their eyes at us, giving us dirty looks, and giving us attitude. When we told them our skate sizes, they reacted like grabbing us skates was the biggest inconvenience for them, with a dramatic sigh from one of them, and a nasty dirty look/side eye from the other girl.

Great layout, great holes, great design and can be difficult too! I go down at least once a year to play the outdoor course with my friends. I've only done the indoor glow course once and it was fun but it has a bigger price tag and isn't as good as outside. If you're local and want to go in the winter I can understand the indoor golf idea. The theme is cool and I love the decorations through. I like to get an ice cream on the way out too, its always a treat. I really like to come down to do a round of golf here and then 2 rounds up the street at the place next to A&W, so for less than $15 bucks you get 3 rounds of golf at 2 different places, so its worth the trip down from Syracuse for sure! I've never had a problem with being yelled at and the rules are easy to follow. You will like this place, it is GREAT!

Not sure if this is a thing outside a private birthday party but KUDOS to the friendly staff. They managed a large group of 2nd graders which isn't easy to do. The kids sat in a circle & got up close to a snake, rabbit, and armadillo while learning all kinds of cool facts. Even got the chance to pet each but I opted out lol. The real star of the show? Onyx, the Egyptian Uromastyx! This little guy stole the spotlight with his playful nature. He popped up each time a new kid came by. A highlight for sure! We spent 2-3 hours here

We looked into activities in Utica and area, and someone suggested this place. We had no idea what to expect and pulling into the parking lot, were prepared to be underwhelmed. We were so wrong. Think your typical, big city zoo, and take away all the stuff you don't like, and add in more of the stuff that you do like. For example, make the size of the zoo manageable for kids to walk around. Instead of having 11,000 species of animals that most people don't care that much about, have a smaller place where you really get to be up close. Then add in more interaction - literally every 30 minutes there is something on the schedule for kids to go play with goats, or touch a porcupine. And then throw in a kids play area, and clean bathrooms! Skip the Utica Zoo and come here. 10/10 would recommend for families looking for a fun way to spend 3 or more hours of their day.
