I'm careful with my nails and DO not use them as tools, going as far to open cans with a bank card to take care of them and preserve them. I have never had a nail popped off after only a week and I used to get gel x nails all the time back home. I'm extremely sad because I paid 188 before tipping and this was supposed to be a treat myself thing as I've been rather bummed out lately. The nail tech seemed to have been taking step by step instructions on how to do my nails and while they're gorgeous, a step in the actual gel x may have been missed.

we had a good experience at Magnolia. we walked in for 2 pedicures and they were able to…read moreaccommodate us immediately. we both got the bomb pedicure and it was really well done - the massage was of good quality. they put us together and our techs synced up so we were both done right around the same time, which was great. this space is what i usually refer to as a "nail mill." there's a ton of bays and a lot of techs working at once so they can always accommodate any walk in's. this is not necessarily a bad thing, especially convenient if you don't want to have to book for a specific time, but it definitely hits the ambiance a bit. personally, i prefer a more intimate setting, and i don't mind making appointments to get what i want. in general i prefer a small handful of skilled technicians in a smaller space with a more intimate vibe - the "nail mills" can be kind of sparse and utilitarian at times. you're not going to get the true "spa" experience, but you'll likely be pleased with the outcome as long as you know what you're signing up for. overall, Magnolia was well done. just know what it is before you go and you won't be disappointed.

I usually only get acrylic with gel polish but Victor offered nail art and referred me to his IG page. I didn't expect what I saw in his art! His designs are intricate, fun and not too gaudy! I went back the following morning for a pedicure with Amy and she was great too. I chose the deluxe with gel polish. Their prices are in line with most other shops in the area as well. I was extremely disappointed and feel I received a $25 pedicure that I paid the full price of $40. I felt rushed and barely got a massage. She probably spent 30 seconds on each leg and foot! She also did not throughly scrub my feet! My feet do not feel like I got a pedicure! I'm a working mother so any time I have to myself is extremely valuable and I wasted my time here! I do not recommend this place! They also did not have a working drying station. She sat me at the "drying station" and turned on a dusty old small fan to dry my toes. They also never offered me water or wine something they advertise. Next time I'm looking for a nail shop I'll keep driving past this one!
