I visited this nail shop on a Monday. I was the only person in the shop. I am new to the area and looking for a good nail tech. I was extremely disappointed and feel I received a $25 pedicure that I paid the full price of $40. I felt rushed and barely got a massage. She probably spent 30 seconds on each leg and foot! She also did not throughly scrub my feet! My feet do not feel like I got a pedicure! I'm a working mother so any time I have to myself is extremely valuable and I wasted my time here! I do not recommend this place! They also did not have a working drying station. She sat me at the "drying station" and turned on a dusty old small fan to dry my toes. They also never offered me water or wine something they advertise. Next time I'm looking for a nail shop I'll keep driving past this one! read more

Not my first visit. I've been going there for years. First thing was that they were rude to my granddaughter who was sitting in the empty chair next to me. Told her to move he needed the chair. There were 4 other available chairs. He didn't use it until I was nearly finished. But the pedicure I receive was sub standard. My feet were smoother before I got the pedi. Husband even commented on how rough my feet were. This isn't the first substandard pedi I have received there. Lots of options out there. I will have to make a change. read more

Horrible customer service! I normally don't mind waiting for service. However when I walked in they told me and my daughter it would be 20 minutes....after 35-40 minutes waiting we were seated. Then one of the managers/owners said "I don't do full sets...he will do your daughter and someone else will be over to do your nails". Moments later she's polishing a 2 year old nail...then tells me he will do your nails after he finishes your daughter. Meanwhile other customers are walking in for pedicures and being served. Then she looks at me and says appointments come 1st. I completely understand that....but don't make me wait 2 hours...just tell me when I walk in, and I'd make an appointment & return. But don't expect me to waste my day sitting in a nail shop...that I witnessed they don't sanitize between customers. Horrible...just horrible! I highly recommend no one going here! read more

Disappointed and offended. Having been a customer at Sun Nails for several years I noticed some decline in cleanliness with my last few visits. On my most recent visit, the mature man did my pedicure.(first time I have seen him doing anything but fingernails and directing services) I always opt for the "deluxe pedicure" which includes a package of Single-Use massage/skin products. So the man proceeds to open each of the single-use pouches in the sealed box and squeezes out only a portion (maybe 1/3) of each in the set, then folds them over to close and puts the remaining products back in the box and into a drawer. Always, always the entire contents of the packages were used and not doing so definitely made a difference in the quality of this service. The worst part is how I felt disrespected by him... as if I wouldn't notice and/or wouldn't care... ageism? It also makes me wonder where else he may be cutting costs. read more

My daughter and I came in to get manicures, pedicures and eye brows waxed. First off, they were discussing amongst one another who would do my pedicure as if they didn't want to offer their service. The older lady that normally do my eye brows, kept asking me what type of pedicure and when I told her which one she kept recommending something that I wasn't interested in. As for my daughter, she didn't get her pedicure bc the guy that was suppose to be doing hers walked off and went to the back as we were discussing what she'd be getting done. Terrible service! I came for a simple gel manicure and the service was terrible along with the manicure. The technician cut my cuticles too low which caused me to bleed, the nail shape was terrible, i was not given a hand massage that usually comes with a manicure, and the polish job was terrible. Worst salon I've been too in a long time. Will never be back. They did my manicure and didn't even cut cuticles or do ANYTHING he cut my nails and put the dip powder on and then halfway through starting on someone else. I sat with the powder half done on my nails. Then when the girl finished them she said "All done" and there was paint all over my fingers. I said can you please clean them up a little? She takes the cuticle cutter and cuts my skin off to take the color off!! $70 for complete garbage. Will never be back. read more

So this was not my first visit and I had planned to review for this visit anyway. Tragic that customer service would take the day off when I did. I will only give them 2 stars because I'm a repeat customer for a reason... they had been pretty decent. They took their time and the foot massages HAD BEEN the bomb. However, today I went with a friend and her service seemed to go great. It was a special occasion so we selected the VIP service at $60. Just wanted to try it. Her service started 10 mins before mine but somehow mine ended before hers. The one set of hot stones were used on the both of us... no cleansing in between. Also, the up-selling is annoying to me. This lady has been pushy about gel nails each time I've come in. Apparently the service comes with wine so when asked our preference, we asked for red which they did not have... why ask? Apology was offered though. My issue was the hurried manner the service was done. If I get your "VIP" service, I expect a different experience. This was rushed and quite frankly, she seemed as if she was not interested. If I'm spending my money with you, at the least I just expect you to give service that is respectful and fair. On this day, that wasn't offered and was very disappointing. read more

This place has really went downhill. There's a lot of people who don't know what they're doing that are working here now. I went there Monday and the lady who did my nails was so rude. I accidentally messed up my nail and her whole demeanor changed. She started snatching my hands and kept huffing and puffing. After she was done I was so annoyed I just hurried up and paid. I later noticed that she jacked my nails up. They're all different shades. Most are see through while two are darker. I began going to Sun Nails about two years ago. I've always been happy with the time and professionalism of the employees. Always taking time to do a great job and making this a true "spa" experience instead of feeling like all they saw when I walked in were $$ signs! Unfortunately, since they reopened it has changed. At first, I understood, getting back into a routine, so many people so little time . . . but instead of it getting better, it's getting worse. Little time to detail, way too much chatter among the employee -- and honestly, it's not relaxing. For the money I pay, I want a more professional and relaxing experience. I don't like feeling hurried and dismissed. I think it's time to find another salon and that saddens me. I liked the way it was before. i went in for a mani and a pedi everyone seemed friendly except for the older guy i got..... he stared on my hands and my nails are crooked, i have paint on my skin and the shape is not what i wanted. he was so rude to me, he nicked me FOUR times and burned me with the nail file twice. did not apologize 1 time for. once he was finished i decided i didn't want to get a pedi bc of how terrible my nails turned out and how awful the service was. i will not be going back. read more

My nails look okay, not the shape I wanted but I'll take the blame for that since I'm terrible at explaining what I want and the color isn't what I wanted either but I agreed to it so again I'll take blame for that. One thing I can't stand though is when the person doing my nails doesn't say a word to me, nothing at all. Not even a simple "hey, how are you?". I was the only one in the shop and they just talked to each other like I wasn't even there. She also had someone on FaceTime talking to him while doing my nails. First time at this salon and won't be my last. I got there around opening time and I'm glad I did because 30 mins later there were at least 4 people waiting, so it seems to be a busy place. Steve took care of me, gave me a bottle of water and told me they serve wine in the afternoons. Told me if I had any problems with my nails to come back and he'd fix them for free.
