I stopped today for a car was just to get the salt off my vehicle after the storm. I ask the young man that checked me in to add vacuuming the inside of my vehicle. He said it would be an upcharge and I completely agreed with this. After the wash I saw them start vacuuming and they were done in less than a minute. They came to get me and I saw that the truck really wasn't vacuumed. I questioned this and the young manager and some other kid that worked there said "I had to request the type of vacuuming I would like". What?? I specifically asked for the inside to be vacuumed. They were two smart mouth kids that worked there and the young "manager" is truly a joke. I wish I could add pictures of the job they did. Whoever owns this place should teach these young kids what quality of work is. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I hope and his review helps someone else out before anyone else gets ripped off by them. Have no clue how they are still in business with the type of work they do and then act like it's my fault when they didn't do a good job. read more

Everyone was really polite but my car was not cleaned after. It's the worst when you have to clean your car after paying for a car wash. Cup holders not wiped out, under the rugs weren't vacuumed, windows had streaks, etc. I hope to see it get better in the future. Just really upset that I paid for what wasn't the best attention to detail. read more

I paid 52.20 to get my car washed inside and out. I was in a hurry and left before inspecting. I got home and it was terrible. I had to ask them to clean my tailgate before I left. They vacuumed it . Did not wipe my car down. Didn't clean the windshield. Half way vacuumed out the car. Just pathetic! Definitely will not use them again! Should have driven up the road to Magic Tunnel! read more

Worst wash and detail job I have EVER gotten. I had to come home and get continue to clean the car after paying $30 for services. I had to point it out to them 4 times about the grill not being touched, dog hair in the back, didn't even vacuum the floor of the car and the cup holders were never even touched. Don't waste your money here because they do NOT CARE! I wondered why they had no one in line for service when Magic Tunnel was backed out into the street! Now I know!!! I went in the evening on Friday February 28th and was charged over $30. When I got back to Raleigh the same bird droppings and tree residue was on the car. Even the tires were still muddy. Very very disappointed and a total waste if my money. read more

We just had our car washed at Sun Auto Carwash. Which ever employee vacuumed it didn't close the driver side door befor the conveyor was started and it entered the tunnel with the door open! The first spinning brush closed the door but not before the entire front seat, dash, and center console were covered with suds. We spoke to a supervisor who took it aside and wiped down and vacuumed the whole thing. After, the supervisor tried to say we had left the window down and rolled it back up before they got there. The supervisor with his engineering and physics degrees tried to say it was impossible and couldn't happen the way it did and basically said we were lying. My wife saw it happen. It was bad enough they made the mistake, but not being man enough to admit their mistake was the last straw! read more

My wife and were traveling when she spotted an outlet mall. I am not into outlet malls so I dropped her off and found Sun Auto Wash. The price was good so I took advantage of their special. The waiting room was packed. I took this as a good sign. All the guys were working on cars so it took a while. Everyone I had contact with was very nice. And they did an outstanding job. I come i town from D.C. to visit my in laws at least 3 times a year. I'm active duty military and have been stationed many places. This is the best carwash out of anywhere I've ever been. They are professional, kind, taking there time and paying attention to detail. Best part is they do a walk through with you just in case they may have missed a spot. I took our 1998 Mazda MPV to Sun Auto Wash today and told the attendant that I only wanted an interior wash. Rain is expected. He charged me $11.95 and I told him I'll even pay a little more if it takes longer, due to the fact that it needed a serious vacuuming. I also told him to give it a good spray and wipe cleaning on the door panels, dash, and door threshold plates. When I was told it was ready, they had washed the outside and applied tire shine. The interior door panels, dash, and threshold plates had not been touched and the carpets were about 60% vacuumed. The attendant apologized and cleaned the panels but completely missed vacuuming a fabric seat. How can someone who does this every day miss crud and debris in a seat???? After the third return to them, I took the car and left. I was hoping to have a good, local full service car wash but based on this experience, they will never see me again. read more
