The menu is pretty large and offers more than sandwiches to keep everyone happy. I ordered The Original PB Reuben. The light marble rye was soft, and fresh, not overly sour. The pile of corned beef was lean, and very mild flavored. The Cole slaw and fries were piled on and barely fit between the bread. The overall flavor of the Original PB Reuben was good, nothing really distinctly standing out. Our server was friendly and took care of our table and kept everything in order. Our group stopped in around lunch time and the restaurant had a good size crowd but wasn't packed. I'm not the biggest fan of sandwiches, but a stop into Primanti's, especially with people from out of town is a nice way to share a taste of Pittsburgh with them.

They also should've just apologized in advance when serving us that our supplier gave us terrible tomatoes so we left them off the sandwich. Out of character for my boyfriend, he said something to the bartender about there being no meat. And she reluctantly said I'll request a new one. All we took from this is its pre-made the day before and not fresh in any way. Given that all we said was, there's no meat and a green tomato on my bun, which is not our normal experience at Primantis, we're disappointed. She then said, If you want, Ill take both sandwiches off the bill so you'll have a free sandwich. You know, the sandwich we never ate!!! All my boyfirend said was yes, take it off the bill and close us out. And he did say its not a free sandwich if I didn't eat it!! Too bad Jim Patrinos doesn't still own the business as he would be so embarrassed at what this primantis has become. The manager (Ryan) did come over, without us requesting, to address our experience. So clearly he was clearly alerted to our dissatisfaction. He apologized profusely, made a completely new sandwich, even though we said no thanks as we needed to leave, and comped part of our check that we had already paid. Obviously to anyone reading this, Primantis will only go so far for the consumer and must be in horrible financial straights since they should've comped the whole bill. What's two drinks to a company this size, right? Well, apparently they will go out of business if you get a extra slice of meat or drink to make up for them serving you what is unacceptable for any consumer. Kennywood is an amusement park that was founded in 1898 and is now a National Historic Landmark…read more The park contains dozens of rides and attractions (e.g., bumper cars, swings, roller coasters, Noah's Ark, merry-go-round, and paddle boats), dozens of casual restaurants, gift shops, holiday events, and more for adults and children. When I was a child, I visited Kennywood to ride the nostalgic and modern rides. Now that I am older, I visit the park just for Halloween and Christmas events, a work party for my husband's employer, etcetera. During our most recent visit, my husband and I attended a company party in a pavilion. When we arrived at the park, we had to stand in a line that was longer than other lines, so I would like to see that line handled more efficiently. The pavilion was a large size and accommodated the employees. I was told that Kennywood provided the catering, which consisted of chicken tenders, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, grilled chicken, fruit salad, hotdogs, hamburgers, cookies, etcetera. I rate the flavors of these foods as 4 stars overall.
