His prices were also better than the other plumbers who responded to my quote request. It turned out that the kitchen tap I purchased would not fit (I had a feeling it was not going to work). He removed the old kitchen tap, which was what I was having trouble with, and gave me some tips on how to install the new tap once I found one that fit. He then installed the bathroom tap and provided some other advice relating to the bathroom sink. He did not charge me for the kitchen tap installation. I found a kitchen tap that fit, and it is now installed and working great thanks to John. I will call him if I need any plumbing in the future. The Reliance tech spent a few minutes with our furnace and then tried to sell us service plan with monthly payments (not interested). He told us that he would email us details about a plan. An then an hour later an email arrives telling us that our service plan starts in November for $29.95 plus tax per month. We did not want a plan nor did we sign or agree. Just spent all kinds of time this morning talking to someone in a call centre trying to cancel this fake contract. We were told their system was 'down' so changes would take time. This is basically criminal signing a customer up for a service plan without their consent. Beware and keep your distance from Reliance Home Comfort.
