We both had a starter of pigeon, not something you usually see on a pub menu and it was superbly cooked and tasted amazing. When I arrived I was astounded to find one of the loveliest restaurants I've ever been to in the UK that is also super dog friendly. I was very impressed that there was a menu for dogs within the main restaurant menu. The staff were very friendly helpful and professional. I had the chicken pie with mashed and gravy. Very family friendly, we have been here for Sunday lunch many times (whole family plus dog) and for date night dinners. Always a friendly service; another great pub we are lucky to have in the near neighbourhood. It is usually pretty busy so booking ahead at weekends probably a good idea.
