This location is a hidden gem. Its off San Jose in a shopping center, so I wouldn't know it was there unless I was looking for it. I had been going to the one in Beach but since I moved, this one is closer. I am so happy because it was great. First, they were rocking some classic pop music (I'm talking Spice Girls, Brittney and BSB), so it was a great conversation starter. It was distracting, but it was fun listening to music I haven't actually listened to in years. The tech and I were reminiscing during my process. Second, it was super clean and bright. It looked brand new. I asked them if they just opened and found out they have been open about 4 years. I'm not talking just clean equipment and tables, but chairs, walls, desk, products were crisp. Third, I was able to walk right in. They were staffed appropriately for the business that day and I barely waited the time it took to sit down. Forth, the staff was professional and kind. I scheduled my appointment on 2/21 w/ Brittney S for 3/1 at 11:10am. I called Friday 2/28 to confirm due to a scheduling issue in the past. The appointment was confirmed. I arrived for my appointment at 10:55am for my 11:10 appointment. 11:25a I asked front desk how much longer and was told she wrapping up now. 11:35 i was told it will be another 30-40 minutes and if I wanted to go to another location. I said no! It's my reason for scheduling an appointment and I live close by. I love the service Brittney provides but customer service is horrible. You never know what you're going to get. Don't attempt to walk in for a waxing - the receptionist will tell you 45 mins and then once 45 mins has passed and you ask again she'll tell you another 45 mins. When you ask why it's another 45 mins, she'll tell you because appointments came in. I asked her why you don't incorporate appointments into the wait time and she replied because we don't know when or if they are coming in. So, you're telling me you don't know when appointments are coming in? Did I miss the point of an appointment? I'm fine with waiting for a walk in but give me a reasonable estimate time. If you can't figure out how appointments work, don't offer them, or don't offer walk ins. read more

BROOKE was absolutely awesome. I walked in without an appointment and she took me almost immediately. She was super experienced, helpful and did a fantastic job! After I left I looked at the hours on the door and they close at 7pm, I left at 740pm and she never said a peep....I believe when I walked in it was 715, so after their closing time. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. My technician really put me at ease, and it was a good experience.

The manager hid in the back room and had an employee try to remove me due to my service animal not being marked. Once I started my rights and explained that I could sue the company for discrimination and violation of my ADA rights, I was permitted to stay for my service, but was informed the manager would be contacting legal to see if I'm correct about the laws governing archive animals and ADA. I was also told that if said manager found it to not be true I'm not welcome for services at that location. I feel sympathy for the worker forced to break the law to try and remove my service animal. The employee was an amazing person and she apologized the entire she was forced to relay the managers beliefs. I requested to speak to the manager, but she refused to come out and speak to me at all. I will be contacting an attorney over this. It's beyond embarrassing to be told to leave for the sole reason of my service animal not having an identity vest, which is not required. read more
