Mr. Bloodworth and his office staff have been a godsend. Not only was he able to help make my divorce as painless as possible, he was also able to get a protection order for my children. Additionally, he helped me get custody of them, and got me everything I asked for in the divorce. I do not want to imagine what life would be like without the help of Mr. Bloodworth. I honestly can say he has helped save our lives. His office staff is beyond amazing as well. They were with us every step of the way; To say I called frequently is an understatement. If I didn't understand something, or if I was anxious about things I would call them and they would help explain things. They did their best to help keep me worry free. Thanks to Mr. Bloodworth and his staff, we are able to move on from this difficult stage of our lives. We are now able to start over and live a life free of abuse. If you are needing legal help, Mr. Bloodworth is the person you want representing you. He cares about what his clients' needs are and he is compassionate about helping his clients. I highly recommend him.

I am sharing this review based on my personal experience with Mr. Bloodworth, who represented me in…read moremy divorce. I hired Mr. Bloodworth after he was recommended to me by the former husband of the woman with whom my former husband was having an extramarital affair. Because of that recommendation, I initially had confidence in Mr. Bloodworth and placed a great deal of trust in him during what was an extremely difficult period in my life. I paid approximately $51,000 in total for my divorce, including approximately $10,000 paid for forensic accounting services. From the beginning, I instructed Mr. Bloodworth that I wanted my divorce petition to include adultery as a ground for divorce. I had documentation and information that I believed supported my position. I was told that we would address adultery later, but ultimately that did not happen. My former husband was also a licensed attorney and served as the District Attorney of the county where we lived. Obtaining financial information during the divorce was a significant issue. There were repeated requests for financial documents, and I continued to incur substantial legal fees during that process. From my perspective, I was frustrated that the matter did not move forward more decisively when important financial information had not been provided. I recall raising with Mr. Bloodworth on more than one occasion my request that the matter be taken to court because I was not receiving the financial information that had been requested from my former husband. At that point, I was experiencing significant financial hardship and could not continue paying thousands of dollars for repeated requests for information when I was not seeing meaningful progress. I believed that court intervention was necessary to obtain the financial information needed to properly evaluate the marital estate and protect my financial interests. I also spent approximately three weeks preparing a very detailed inventory of my separate property, including documentation showing that certain assets belonged to me before the marriage. My former husband had claimed that one of my businesses was community property, even though I had established the business in 2014 and we married in 2017. When Mr. Bloodworth asked whether I had completed my inventory, I told him that I had. He then contacted his office and instructed a staff member to file it with the court. I later learned that the inventory had not been filed. I raised this issue with the firm. Another significant concern was that I did not receive copies of my former husband's pay stubs, which I considered important to understanding his income and finances. The case ultimately proceeded to mediation. I felt very unprepared and largely alone during that process. I had expected my attorney to provide stronger guidance, advocacy, and preparation and to help me understand how to protect my financial interests. The forensic accountant also did not complete the investigation I expected. One account that contained funds from the sale of my separate property before the marriage was not fully investigated, and those funds were ultimately divided during the divorce. When I questioned why the forensic accounting work was incomplete, I was disappointed by the response I received because I had paid a substantial amount for that service. Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience. I felt that I did not receive the level of advocacy, communication, preparation, and attention to my financial concerns that I expected given the amount I paid for representation. I understand that every divorce is different and that attorneys cannot guarantee a particular outcome. My concerns are specifically about my experience as a client and how I felt my case was handled. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Mr. Bloodworth to someone who is going through a divorce and is looking for the level of advocacy and support that I expected.

She's such a lovely person - always cheerful and truly concerned, caring, and so helpful! Huge shout out to Marcy and also Mr Yardas himself! I lost my father some months ago and after much difficulty finding help, we found Yardas Law Group to help settle his estate since he passed away without a will and left me and my step mom in a complicated and stressful situation. Marcy and Mr Yardas were VERY responsive and communicative and were SO PATIENT with me and all my worries and questions. They always got back to me on the same day and almost always answered the phone right away when I called - really helped with my anxiety and peace of mind. We had our estate court hearing yesterday and luckily I was able to attend virtually so I didn't have to fly back to Texas yet again lol. They emailed me a zoom link and it was so seamless and easy, even though we had some issues with a witness - Mr Yardas and the judge handled it swiftly and effectively! Leading up to the case, I was also able to get documents done here locally and sent over - everything done online which was such a blessing. I had some final questions/concerns afterwards and received a return call from Mr Yardas himself before end of day - all my concerns addressed and questions answered and doors closed! Everything was handled so well - I'm very impressed with this firm's knowledge and navigation of Texas estate code - that sometimes can be a little quirky and complicated. Prices are as expected and a great value here given the quality level of service they provide! I hope you never have to go through it, but if you do, I highly recommend the team here!! THANK YOU MARCY & MR YARDAS!
