BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY. DOESN'T CARE ABOUT VETERANS AND DOING THE RIGHT THING…read more Yesterday (09/22/25) I had a scheduled appointment with his Paralegal at 10:30 a.m. Did not receive a phone call or notice until I sent a text message at 11:15 a.m. Then, magically received a call. Provided an in-depth summary with evidence. Scheduled a phone call with Attorney at 11:30 a.m. (09/23/25) Attorney was late calling me for the scheduled appointment. It seems like his firm has a "TIME MANAGEMENT" issue. Can you imagine having to file by a certain deadline and, because they lack "TIME MANAGEMENT" abilities, now your case is screwed. The Attorney didn't listen to the facts and articulation of said facts. He was purely stuck on the fact that the employer is a governmental entity. He claims to care about doing the right thing but lacks a courage to do so. I can't imagine being an Attorney then being a complete coward of a human being. During the call he admitted he didn't know how to argue and would lose a standard employment law argument. What? Then why are you claiming to specialize in Employment Law if you heavily implied that you don't know and are a quitter. You have people's livelihoods in your hands. To admit/heavily imply you don't know how to defend a case tells me you DO NOT FIGHT FOR YOUR CLIENTS. You have an ethical obligation to give your clients the best defense possible. I'm so shocked by his "admission" that I'm considering contacting the state bar. That is insane! I've never heard an attorney flat out admit that before. I have better facts and evidence than 99% of the "purely speculative" cases he does accept. I don't know if he made that admission simply because he isn't willing to help Veterans (I'm a Veteran and this is a related to Veterans) which gives me the impression he doesn't care about Veterans. In conclusion, if you are a Veteran and/or actually care about Veterans then STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM. This was the worst discussion I've had with an Attorney. Admits to not knowing how to fight a case is insane.

Mr. Bloodworth and his office staff have been a godsend. Not only was he able to help make my divorce as painless as possible, he was also able to get a protection order for my children. Additionally, he helped me get custody of them, and got me everything I asked for in the divorce. I do not want to imagine what life would be like without the help of Mr. Bloodworth. I honestly can say he has helped save our lives. His office staff is beyond amazing as well. They were with us every step of the way; To say I called frequently is an understatement. If I didn't understand something, or if I was anxious about things I would call them and they would help explain things. They did their best to help keep me worry free. Thanks to Mr. Bloodworth and his staff, we are able to move on from this difficult stage of our lives. We are now able to start over and live a life free of abuse. If you are needing legal help, Mr. Bloodworth is the person you want representing you. He cares about what his clients' needs are and he is compassionate about helping his clients. I highly recommend him.

What impressed us even more is that West Legal Group offers a multitude of legal services, including wills and estate planning, personal injury, and business law. It's reassuring to know we have a trusted professional we can turn to for future legal needs as well. I would confidently recommend Brian West to anyone seeking knowledgeable, reliable, and compassionate legal representation. Brian West, he's the BEST!!

Let me begin by saying that I cannot find Brian's bar number either nationally or on the state bar…read morewebsite. I also noticed that not one document he has provided has his bar number listed. After my consultation Brian's attitude and tone changed drastically. He seemed annoyed and over worked. He lacked professionalism in his language and was extremely disrespectful during several of our calls. He cursed at me because I could not print a document that required a live signature only confirming I made a bad decision by retaining him. His paralegal Brenda lied stating she never received documents that I emailed to her, then she lied claiming my case was dismissed due to missing paperwork. I confirmed with the court they never received any paperwork for my case. She lied again claiming she informed of information that she did not. She failed to follow up with me even after confirming my case was still active with the court. Both Brian and Brenda have blamed me for the failure of my case. Now as of May 21st I was received notice that my case was dismissed on the 19th due to my attorney not complying with the deadline, but I was told by Brian's office that it was due to me not paying the trustee. Court clerk confirmed this was not the issue. He has been deceptive from the beginning, claiming he has been doing this for over 15 years, but he graduated in 2020 and his Linkin profile states his practice within the last four years. I informed him during our conversation that I record EVERYTHING, and I meant what I said.
