It was really good but remember to shake it other wise the tea will be like drinking chunky throw up.

I love this place!! The owner is lovely. Best boba in state college by far! Love the taro milk tea and brown sugar milk tea.

Atmosphere was okay. It had a wall that looked like it was decorated solely for the purpose taking…read morepics for instagram. The service felt lackluster and the food was expensive. I got a tropical fruit juice tea with crystal boba and it was great don't get me wrong. But it feels very college-aged-social-media-influencer-trying-to-promote cool and less genuine-connection-for-friends cool.

Let me coment on the interior design first: You could call it a typical Asian cafe layout, with the green wall, neon lights, and white-on-wood plus pastel "natural" look, BUT this is State College, PA. How many other places locally have cute set ups like this?? No where. I would love to come here with friends, just to sit and study, hangout, anything. How I miss cafes like this being on every corner in the cities. But alas I'm surrounded by hills in a beautiful valley - thankfully I still get to enjoy this ambiance at Mr.Wish! Their main menu items are fruit teas, which is a refreshing addition to the area as the other bubble tea places focus on the milk teas. You can see all the real fruit chunks and puree in the drinks which is also a much appreciated shift away from flavor powders or syrups! So many different fruit teas to choose from - I got the Peach Sunset today but I'll definitely be back for the Wish Special Fruit Tea(mostly because it looks like calamansi and where can you get that around here?!), and others available. The peach sunset is an icy white peach smoothie with a cheese cap. I think it just comes in L. Not too sweet, but concentrated white peach flavor! They do still have a selection of milk teas so in case your friend still wants the milk tea with tapioca pearls, not to worry, you both can still enjoy the drinks here. :)

My first time here, I came with a friend to try out the newly opened place. I built my own poke…read morebowl with salmon and beef as my 2 proteins, brown rice, cilantro, red onions, radish, edamame, corn, kani salad, seaweed salad, roasted seaweed, and citrus ponzu as my dressing. The salmon was a bit off, didn't seem fresh, and the beef was like cold tendon pieces that didn't quite fit in the bowl. The rice to everything else ratio was skewed towards the former, and not enough sauce was given, so it felt like I was eating just rice at the end. I was a bit disappointed to say the least, but wanted to give this place another chance before posting any reviews. My second sparked my third time coming here. Both times, I ordered salmon as my 2 proteins, brown rice, cilantro, sweet corn, red onions, edamame, kani salad, seaweed salad, and roasted seaweed with their special house sauce, wasabi aioli, and eel teriyaki sauce. Both times were consistent and much better than my first experience. The salmon was fresh, and toppings and sauces were loaded. I love the variety of toppings you can choose from too! Overall, I would recommend coming here. Definitely the better poke place here in State College. The staff are also super friendly. I will be coming back to try their egg waffles next time!

My sister and I brought my mother for a sit down tea room experience. I shared a finger food tier with my mother. It was lacking in appearance, taste, and quality. Just a bunch of random mundane things you'd find in a dollar general and not fresh. There was basically no wait for our order. It was very quick. Waitress brought one plate for two people lol. And I had to ask for the tea list. Young girl seemed put out the moment we came in. But tried to be more polite towards the end. She never asked how we were. We stayed for about 35m. They use HT tea which I'm not a fan of and they use only one tea bag for a shared 16-24oz tea pot. My mug was a little dirty and stained. We had to ask for sugar. My sister said her Ruben sandwich was great and her ice tea was fine. Disclosure: we're all from a large city and maybe this is high quality for this little town. One of the biggest off putting part was seeing the naked hairy arm pits of a large man while trying to enjoy a special semi eloquent daughter/mother date. We dressed up a little and are not loud people. There really should be a certain dress code and volume control (large man was part of a large loud party) for a "tea room". I would not return or recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Small menu but the food is excellent…read more I would recommend to stop for lunch and also a small shop for unique Gifts.

Strawberry Tree - Fair clean bathroom/stock room. I highly recommend they invest $25 for a new towel seat. And have some covers available.
