What this usually means is that they have a beer a few weeks or months past dead, so they sell it all for a ridiculously cheap price. is it dangerous? No. Potent? yes. It seems that people get drunker faster when the beer is old :) its always been very popular with young people. I myself bought single med sized bottles of a range of odd beers here all for 44p each! you just cannot beat that. as well as the out of date beers there is a fine selection of normal dated wines and brew - all still cheaper then most other mainstream places. It's got wine from all around the world, with an emphasis on quality rather than quantity.
