Meghan was a breath of fresh air! I previously had an awful experience with the owner of a different wig salon in Avon. This was the complete opposite. Meghan has a wonderful disposition and she actively listened to my needs and concerns. Her recommendations were spot on and I am really pleased with my topper. My natural hair color is difficult to match, but she custom colored the topper to blend in beautifully with my bio hair. When I decided the color needed just a little tweak in the front, she told me to come right back in and she'd adjust it. She wanted me to be completely happy with my purchase. This review is long overdue, but i felt compelled to share even at this late date. In 2021 I went to the Wig gallery of Wethersfield looking for an affordable human hair wig. I needed a cranial prosthesis after suffering permanent alopecia a as a result of chemotherapy. I bought what I thought was a human hair wig for $1900 but I was never really happy with it. It just never felt or looked natural and as a result, I never wore it. Years later it still sits in the closet, I did, however, find a salon in Boston that specialized in a high-quality human hair wigs. During one of my visits I brought the wig from the gallery in Wethersfield to see if she could remedy the problems I was having with the wig. She informed me that it was not human hair that it was synthetic and that was virtually nothing. She could do bottom line I was lied to and sold in inferior product. $1900 down the drain. Vincent is the man to see for a beautiful and natural looking wig...I am going through chemo and my beautiful auburn wig has really help me look professional and comfortable at work and in social settings. I needed a Wig so made a consultation appointment. I went there on time and a young girl met me and asked me why I was early. She took me in, sat me down in front of a screen and asked me what condition I had. After her talking me through the process, and pointing to a couple pictures of women in obviously not good looking wigs, she informed me that their wigs started at $1,900.00 and went up in price from there. After I said it was above my price point she said they had some lower quality wigs at $600.00-$9,00.00 and up. I said that was still above my price point. So, I was abruptly escorted to the door. I mean you could buy approximately 50 or so basic quality wigs for $1,900.00. Of course they don't post their insane prices on their website. Or only the rich would come. read more

My mother went to The Wig Gallery of Wethersfield and has had a wonderful experience working with Vincent. Her review: It is awful to get the report you have cancer. It is worse to hear the treatment includes chemo and you will lose your hair (including your beautiful highlights)! So to make a sad story end much better I went to Vincent at the Wig Gallery of Wethersfield. A thousand pounds was lifted off my shoulders as I walked into my private appointment and saw in front of me the best wigs I had ever seen in my life! Vincent knows his wigs! He knows quality and he totally knows how to help people in this dilemma . We found 2 wigs and within 15 minutes I realized which one was the one for me .. so natural... so my haircut .. so me!!! Wearing the wig made me feel normal. Wearing it to parties gave me confidence! People who have known me for years asked where I got my haircut? Vincent also helps you by explaining the care of the wig , demonstrating how to spritz it and offering to show you how to wash it when the time comes for that. Vincent has such compassion.
