In a way, it's no surprise that few people know about this place since it is definitely located behind other storefronts on Dessau Road. It sits in a strip center behind another strip center completely out of visual range. When you first walk through the door, you think you're entering a Goodwill boutique store because of its small size. It's even laid out like a small Goodwill except that nothing is used here, everything is new. Near the entrance, you can dig through some bargain bins loaded with cosmetics and miscellaneous items. They do have some men's clothes and shoes, but it's really geared towards women's apparel and children's items. I was told all new shoes are $10 a pair and clothing is $7 apiece. Apparently the best time to shop here is on Fridays after they've been closed Wednesday and Thursday. One thing they lack is a dressing room to try clothing on (no bathroom either). I picked up some new shoes and jeans for just $17. Many of the items in the bins have price stickers, but some don't which means you'll have to ask. Yes there's a lot of new cheapo junk here, but there's a lot of worthwhile items as well. Informative photos included.

I was not expecting this store to be so awesome. They have things from 60s 70s 80s 90s etc. They had Rockem-Sockem Robots! They had care bears, they had Dr. Seuss books, they had OG trolls (I got three of these!). They had pinball machines. They had slinky. They had the magic eight ball. They just had too many things for me to mention, and all of them were amazing! I wish I had known about this store last Christmas-- Good thing there's next Christmas :) Their prices are quite affordable. The little trolls were a 1.50. The Dr. Seuss book was $9.99. The care Bear was $13. They have so many wonderful product products and they are displayed beautifully. It's a fun place just to walk around and look! I highly recommend you visit. The service was really good by the way. The sales clerk allowed us to walk-through and didn't pester us. However, when I asked her about things, she was very enthusiastic and she knew about the products. I appreciated that. I highly recommend you visit!

There is a wide variety of eclectic toys, games, knickknacks, etc. they have several tables where you can explore/play with some of the toys and items they have for sale. This makes it especially fun for kids to have a hands on approach- not like department stores where everything is packaged and shelved. I do believe some items are a bit pricey but that's to be expected from a stand alone toy store. We did purchase two 3-D printed toys. I was hoping to get some more exciting items, but my son has taken a liking to these 3D creatures. They were $17 each, higher than when I've paid most times, but also fairly acceptable in price. The employee working made some small talk, but she wasn't entirely personable. I feel that businesses geared mainly to our children should have employees with bright and bubbly personalities. I understand that's not always a possibility, but I do feel it makes the whole experience better for everybody. The only true con to our experience was that the story reeked of cat urine. They did have the doors open with a fan blowing out, so maybe they're aware and trying to get rid of it, I'm not sure. But it wasn't a pleasant smell at all. With all that being said, we will be back. I've made note of things we plan to buy in the future lol.

The owner, Kris (might be wrong spelling), is really sweet and made my mom and I feel so welcome. She sells cute and trendy clothes at much better prices than places right on the square. She also sells some jewelry, purses, kitschy stuff too. The upstairs is a consignment store. Everything is easy to touch and look at. Stop by this place and spend local ! We will certainly go back.

It's tucked away in the middle so it's a bit hard to locate at first. The parking is a bit odd cause you'll more than likely have to park directly in front of another business- and while that sounds normal, once you see it, you'll know what I mean! When you enter Tiny Texan Exchange, it is a small shop but it is full of merchandise! There is a growing selection of infant, toddler, small child, and maternity clothes. As well as toys, accessories, baby gear, and a few other bits and bobs. My son, unfortunately, did not fit anything that had to offer at the time (pre-grand opening) so we opted to purchase a couple toys! The owner was there, working hard, and holding great conversation the whole time! She loves to yap- a woman of my own heart! We look forward to selling items and hopefully purchasing clothing in the near future. At this time, they are only offering store credit for sold merchandise but for most that works out perfectly!

They had a pretty great selection of clothing, most of it in great condition. I found my daughter a pair of nice jeans and a cute top. They also have some toys and books for sale. Prices are very reasonable. One of the best parts is that they have a play area (gated) so your kid can have fun while you shop. Brilliant. My daughter was super excited about this (we just dragged her through the antique mall nearby where she couldn't touch any of the collectible toys, haha). The owners are really nice and helpful. We found out that they also work with local organizations that connect them with families in need. Awesome. Great experience and will definitely be returning. If you're here thrifting, check out the Hutto Antique Mall as well as Second Chance Resale (in the same shopping plaza).

The marketplace is a full house conversion in which each room was set up into its own themed space. It was probably one of the most surprising spaces to enter into as it's large. If you take your time you could spend an hour or two browsing. Aside from the plethora of cute gifts, clothes, art by local artisans and food items- one thing i appreciated was the attention to detail in decor for each space and room to give it its own flavor. A lot of love was put into this and you can tell. Aside from shopping they also have ice cream and drinks to buy and even complimentary margaritas on offer while you shop, which was a pleasant surprise. Absolutely worth checking out.
