She has stickers, candles, soap, magnesium rub, car fresheners, little plants, clothes, Jean jackets, sets, sweaters, tanks, shorts and even a mens's section. Price points were good, it's not cheap but it's not overly priced either, I thought everything was right on par with what I thought it would be for a Pfluggerville boutique. I love all of their fidget toys, tiny silly toys like baby doll race cars (as in a car in the shape of a baby), blind box toys and their trading set up, and baby section. This is where you go when your friend is having a baby and already has all of the gear she needs. My visit to Terra Toys on Anderson Lane started with my mission: find a Dragon Ball Z Action Figure. What I thought would be a quick shopping trip turned into an adventure through one of Austin's most unique and charming toy stores. Walking into Terra Toys transported me into the wonderful world of imagination. Talk about sensory overload...color explosion, oversized stuffed animals, toys at every turn. Every section of the store was filled with toys of interest...from classic toys and puzzles to collectibles, games, art supplies, and items I had never seen before. Wow, wow, wow! My search for the perfect Dragon Ball Z Action Figure became a treasure hunt. With so many collectibles lurking throughout the store, I found myself scanning shelves, peeking into display cases, and inspecting every area of the store in search of a Dragon Ball Z figurine. In a way, it's no surprise that few people know about this place since it is definitely located behind other storefronts on Dessau Road. It sits in a strip center behind another strip center completely out of visual range. When you first walk through the door, you think you're entering a Goodwill boutique store because of its small size. It's even laid out like a small Goodwill except that nothing is used here, everything is new. Near the entrance, you can dig through some bargain bins loaded with cosmetics and miscellaneous items. They do have some men's clothes and shoes, but it's really geared towards women's apparel and children's items. I was told all new shoes are $10 a pair and clothing is $7 apiece. Apparently the best time to shop here is on Fridays after they've been closed Wednesday and Thursday. One thing they lack is a dressing room to try clothing on (no bathroom either). I picked up some new shoes and jeans for just $17. Many of the items in the bins have price stickers, but some don't which means you'll have to ask. Yes there's a lot of new cheapo junk here, but there's a lot of worthwhile items as well. Informative photos included.

It's tucked away in the middle so it's a bit hard to locate at first. The parking is a bit odd cause you'll more than likely have to park directly in front of another business- and while that sounds normal, once you see it, you'll know what I mean! When you enter Tiny Texan Exchange, it is a small shop but it is full of merchandise! There is a growing selection of infant, toddler, small child, and maternity clothes. As well as toys, accessories, baby gear, and a few other bits and bobs. My son, unfortunately, did not fit anything that had to offer at the time (pre-grand opening) so we opted to purchase a couple toys! The owner was there, working hard, and holding great conversation the whole time! She loves to yap- a woman of my own heart! We look forward to selling items and hopefully purchasing clothing in the near future. At this time, they are only offering store credit for sold merchandise but for most that works out perfectly!

They had a pretty great selection of clothing, most of it in great condition. I found my daughter a pair of nice jeans and a cute top. They also have some toys and books for sale. Prices are very reasonable. One of the best parts is that they have a play area (gated) so your kid can have fun while you shop. Brilliant. My daughter was super excited about this (we just dragged her through the antique mall nearby where she couldn't touch any of the collectible toys, haha). The owners are really nice and helpful. We found out that they also work with local organizations that connect them with families in need. Awesome. Great experience and will definitely be returning. Staff was very friendly especially since we came here with a toddler in a small stroller and a baby in a carrier. Kids around antiques can be a bit anxiety-inducing, I'm sure. Plus, the aisles are tight. But it can be done. Just remember to be careful if your child touches any of the toys because some are collectible antiques (I had to reprimand my husband for this, lol).
