I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone..... This Apartment Complex "The Willows" needs to do better, Morgan Properties has beautiful establishments, but this is by far there worst. The Property Manager will sell you the moon to get you in this place, she will lie, mislead you, give false information, take your money quick to mislead you and evict event quicker. Ended up getting an attorney speaking with the rental assistance place that actually has a bank transaction and email from her personally stating she wouldn't accept a payment which was false and illegal to deny a payment considering money as money and it was sent in a check form per request as sent an email the proof is literally within the emails and the statements through the company through the procurator /office manager, and she proceeds to lie to cover her ass. Can't wait for this place to get shut down run far to any other complex but here you're better off living in the city and one of the ABC streets don't even start with the water issues, the mice infestations and roaches!!!!!! This has got to be the worst apartment complex i've lived at both in Glen Burnie and through Morgan Properties. We paid a hold fee on the apartment we chose, on the 3rd floor because my dog cannot walk up and down steps easily, they moved us to the 5th floor and raised our rent $50 from what we were first originally quoted. The first day we moved in we realized our oven was broken, that took almost a month to be replaced. Then our AC went out, which took almost 6 weeks to be fixed/replaced. They didn't give us an AC unit until we complained after 2 weeks of waiting. Our microwave has stopped working, and our AC went out a 2nd time over the summer. Even little things, like our bathroom towel bar falling out of the wall at 3am (when everyone was asleep - so no one accidentally pulled on it or knocked it out). We pay $65 a month for wifi and a pool that is open 2 days a week, from 12pm-7pm. I don't have the luxuary of being off on weekends, so I've gotten to enjoy the pull once this entire season! They blame "a shortage of life gaurds", which would make sense if my best friend who also lives at Morgan Properties didn't have their pool open 7 days a week...or my cousin who also lives at a Morgans Properties apartment complex, whos pool is also open 7 days a week. They're now charging us for parking as well, $40 a month is ridiclous. One of the reasons we agreed to switch to this apartment after being told the one we reserved wasn't avaliable was because we were told it has the "largest parking lot and parking would be easier" it is not easier, parking lot is always full, and now I can't even park here. They're impossible to get ahold of as well, I can call and call and call all day long but get no response unless I walk over there in person. They also do not provide doggie bags for poop, and not everyone carries their own bags so I see a ton of dog poop in the grass as I am walking my dog. The washer and dryers don't alwyas work either, I've been here 6 months and they've been out of order twice and fixed twice. I didn't intend to move when my lease was up because who wants to take everything down 5 flights of stairs when it isn't exactly necessary? no one, but i'm gonna be ending my lease and getting the fuck out of here as soon as possible! Save yourself the trouble, look at literally ANY other Morgan's Porpertie's or apartments in Glen Burnie. read more

This place sucks so bad. Roaches, mice, aggressive dogs left and right. This place is just actually filthy and not worth a dime. If I could go back in time someone couldn't pay ME money to live here. My dogs have been attacked by another dog and I've only lived here two months. There's dog crap EVERYWHERE you can't even walk in the grass without stepping in dog poop. Staff is disorganized. There is supposed to be no aggressive animals on the premises and every dog I've met has has some level of aggression. Not to mention breeds that are banned are majority of the population. My dogs were attacked by a dog that isn't even allowed in these complexes. And here's where I hit my breaking point. Someone has been allowing their dog to urinate in the hall ways of my apartment. I own a dog and I don't need him stepping in that and then walking through my home. Or even children or other people waking through it. I asked the staff kindly to ask the person who I know is Doing it to stop and for them to send one of their many maintenance people to clean it up. I let them know on 7/2 it's there at 8:30 am. By 3:40 pm I get home from work and it's still there. Let my dogs out around 10:30 pm. Still there. And on 7/3 this morning at 8 there's still pee everywhere and actually more pee. That's so disgusting and a SERIOUS HEALTH RISK. Not to mention parents do not supervise their children and they are allowed to disturb others and be loud in the halls at all times of the night. read more

The worst experience I have ever had. I signed a contract in Feb to move in April 1, less than 6 days before I contact the complex for an update and I'm informed i won't be able to move in as planned, I know have to wait till April 12, Its now April 8 and I can't move in on April 12 at 8am as planned i have to wait till 5pm, ANOTHER day of work lost, ANOTHEr day of movers being changed , mail lost etc. read more

I created a Yelp account just to post this review. If I could select negative 5 stars I would. I lived here for 2 years. Maintenance requests are slower then dirt. Ac unit had problems since the day I moved in. Bugs are ridiculous (IM A CLEAN FREAK and still had bugs) Outside is gross. Neighbors are rude and even if you submit a complaint nothing is done. This complex is so bad there's constantly a cop sitting in his car waiting for something to go down. ALL of this I can deal with. and I did deal with it. Here is where I cant deal. When I moved in they said "oh we have a special where its just a $99.00 deposit. I thought this was weird cause $99.00 wont cover shit for repairs after move out. But ok, so I did it. So here we are. I have moved out after being robbed, them taking days to replace the screen they broke in through, and after some drunk fool hit my car while it was parked. They hit me with $1065.21 worth of carpet repairs, paint, and other misc stuff. Ok fine, yes there were a few stains on the carpet that probably could have gotten cleaned with a commercial grade carpet cleaner. whatever. Oh waits. there is more. They said this was Due October 1st. on 9/25/2017 I sent payment via my CC for 735.00. Girlfriend sent additional payment for $190. To this date I owe 155. (Which I JUST paid right now.) So yes, $155.00 was late. I check the mail: I have a notice of collection from National Credit Audit Corporation from the willows dated October 2nd asking for $1065.21. Uhm. I have paid 99% of that already. I don't understand why you sent me to collections when I only owe $155.00. Like, for real? Oh don't let me forget, they give you until the 5th of every month to pay rent. Cool grace period right? well, if you don't hit that grace period, THE NEXT DAY you have now incurred court costs, late fees, and an eviction notice. (the fees are ridiculously high by the way) My rent started out at $980 a month. Within 2 years I was up to about 1100 just about. It gets better... As I was moving out, they sent out a notice saying they are going to start charging for Water usage per building). So how exactly are they going to split this amongst tenants? fishy. They have a pool. Looks nice right? 10$ per pass per person your lease. TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS $25.00 for a GUEST for ONE DAY!!! Ridiculous. Forget about having friends or family over and trying to relax near the pool that shit wont happen. Save yourself any hassle or trouble and keep looking. Please for the love of god do not rent from the willows or any property that Morgan properties manages. Even trying to call Morgan properties results in a voicemail that never gets returned... The customer service of the management for the willows itself used to be halfway decent. They have changed people so often and for the worse. They are rude, don't assist with maintenance requests for the apartment, refuse to do anything other than try to get new tenants and push their crappy renters insurance on you. (You get much better through your auto insurer) Edit: I almost forgot. Their advertisements say parking available... IN WHAT WORLD?! You have tenants who have 3-4 cars or people not on the lease parking there. Tractor trailers parking taking up spaces or parallel parking. If you are not home by 4:00pm to park. Your screwed. No parking for you. You will end up parking extremely far away from your apartment or even on the road in front of the apartment complex entrance and walking to your apartment. They do not regulate parking or offer more than 1 reserved parking spot per apartment BUILDING. Even these "reserved" spots they do not regulate. read more

The maintenance is horrendous. They mark your requests as "complete" even though they didn't do what was requested. You have to fight with them to get the simplest things done. They come to your apartment without notice. They leave your apartment a mess after they finally get around to doing the maintenance you requested months ago. They sometimes forget to lock your door after they come out! It's happened to me on several occasions. The AC is horrible and noisy. The water doesn't get that hot and definitely doesn't stay hot for long. They never clean the washer and dryer. My packages got stolen. Last year all of my Christmas gifts I bought for others were stollen. The apartment complex didn't do anything. Thankfully Amazon has a great policy. They didn't replace the carpet in my apartment when I moved in which they said they did. My ductwork also had mold and it took me 6 months to get them to properly clean them. They would say they serviced them but never did until I threaten to put my rent in escrow. read more

This the worst apartment system I have ever stayed at. The A/C unit has been nothing but problems from the day I moved in. There bugs every where and the management thinks it's not there problems. Do not stay here, there is reason why they charge less for the apartments in the beginning and than start charging more as time goes on. read more

Do not think about living here, it's is mice infested and when talked to about maintenance they act like it's not their problem. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT LIVING HERE!! Office staff has horrible customer service skills, instead of resolving issues they will give you the run around and make you jump through several hoops. They will claim they can't find paperwork that you turned in and refusr to give you copies of paperwork that you signed!! They will continue to charge you fees because someone doesn't know how to do their job then file for an eviction because you haven't paid said fees. read more

Since I lived here my AC unit went up I had to wait 1 week to get that fixed, my bathroom ceiling had to be cut open because of a leak 3 times. It took weeks for them to come back out and repair the ceiling. I doind homeless people living under my steps and complained the office did nothing. And the latest is the people that were hanging out in the maintenance storage room that is suppose to be locked smoking weed. I complained to the office I was told I should get other neighbors to write a complaint if not it just make it seem like I'm an angry neighbor trying to get someone put out. After that every time I saw the people in the building I called the police that is when it stopped when the police came and found them in there. The people in this building have no respect about their noise level, they let their dogs use the bathroom on the side walk, in the building in front of peoples apartment door without cleaning it up. Before my upstairs neighbors moved out they allowed their 3 dogs to use the bathroom on the balcony and would take a bucket of water and wash it off the balcony and all that mess was under my window. I complained 2 times before I finally was able to video them doing it and took pictures, video and another complaint to the office. The staff at that office will look you in the face and say they will take care of something and don't. None of the top plugs in my apartment work. This has been the worst year of living any where. I'm looking for a house so I have been sticking it out to keep feom having to move and the move when I get the house. read more

If it was possible I would rate this place negative stars. I've lived in two different Morgan Properties, both of them together would rate -5 stars to me. When I lived in The Willows Apartments, my unit was burglarized while I was at work. The person seemed to have a key since the cops found no evidence of breaking in and my front door was just slightly opened when I got home. When I left The Willows Apartments, Morgan Properties really came after me for the money they felt they deserved for breaking my lease on an apt their employees obviously burglarized. I moved into Glen Ridge Apartments not knowing they were owned by Morgan Properties. Needless too say this place is no better than the other place. Nobody stole anything out of my unit yet, which is why I'd give them -5 stars instead of -6 stars. I've made multiple complaints about bug and other things. The people leasing office have told me multiple times they aren't going to do any more than they're required by law. I've lost over $10,000 between being robbed while I was at worked and basically being force to break two leases with Morgan Properties. IF THE SIGN SAYS MORGAN PROPERTIES KEEP F****** DRIVING. DO NOT MOVE INTO ANY PLACE OWNED BY MORGAN PROPERTIES THEY ARE SLUM LORDS. read more
