Let me start by saying I am an African American Female & today I was racially profiled at this store. I went into the store to buy some wine but walked around to look for other items. All 3 workers were behind the counter moving back and forth trying to see if I was trying to steal. I moved 1 isle over to see if they were indeed casing me. Indeed they were not only did I get profile but the pre-call the shopping center's security on me as well. I was roughly in the store 5 minutes. After I grabbed both items to walk to the front I look up one of the men was standing on one end of the isle and another one the other end. I stood up fast head jumped saying oh hey I wanted to see if you needed any help but never parted his lips or walked to my direction. The other looking in the store mirror and camera watch me saying. We not watching you we are just walking around. The got angry when I bought it to their attention that they just profile me. They got mad and starting yelling. We don't need you or y'all business . The selection here borders on ridiculous. The variety is great and Mr. Hammond (sp) always has great suggestions and is very friendly. The pricing is a bit high, I admit, but based on location and selection, this is my go-to spot even as there's a closer store to where I live. read more

Great selection of everything!! Wine, beer, rums, tequila they have it all. Even hard to find things. If you can't find it they will.

They have an excellent selection of wines and liquors. Some of the liquors that you can only buy outside the states I have found here. They have wine tastings every Friday from 5-7. Sellers are very good a recommending wines and pairing them with food. The prices are fair. I haven't noticed anything over priced. read more

I love this store! Massive selection of wine, diverse selection of liquor, and decent selection of beer. The store is very logically organized so it's easy to find something you're looking for - even if you don't know what you're looking for, ha. All the workers I've met are super helpful and friendly, usually makes my day better just through their great customer service and attitudes! (The alcohol helps too.) read more

I won't go back. First of all, they had beer displayed in their front window getting skunked. Guess they don't know what the sun and heat do to beer. The beer prices were high. Sierra Nevada is $8.99 at almost every liquor store in Maryland,but not here. When I see stores jacking up the prices like this one does, I never go back. The selection maybe good, but it was nothing to rave about compared to many good liquor stores in MD. You would think with their inflated prices they could hire more help. When I was at the register the cranky old guy waiting on me with the hand tattoos was yelling at a customer all the way in the back of the store where to find what she was looking for. Not sure if he is he owner/manager, or just a cashier, but he could learn a thing or two about customer service. read more

This place is probably the best location in Waldorf to find rare wine and liquor. They keep items that I've had a hard time finding elsewhere. The owner is very kind and helpful and has provided some good info for finding items they didn't have in stock. I once left a pair of sunshades at the register and the owner found my name on a receipt and called me to let me know. Great place and good people. read more

Went there Saturday to pick up some Sangria and the price was higher than my local store so I ended up getting another wine. I saw two bottles of Carlos Rossi White Zin for $5.49 a piece. Saying, hmmmm....great deal. O M G, got home and opened them and wow...tasted just like a horrible vinegar mixture. Not happy at all. This is the best place to go for micro-brew beer in Waldorf. Their selection is the best I've seen in Southern Maryland outside of Rosewick in LaPlata. Their prices are definitely reasonable and their staff is friendly and fairly knowledgeable, and can help you navigate their selection if you're unsure. The only qualm, I have is the display in the front of their store. When I last went, in late May, they had a huge table of sale items; they were trying to rid themselves of the last of their winter seasonals. Awesome, high ABV beers are still good, and sometimes taste better, after 6 months. The only problem is, they had their display table, and some other beer racks, in full sunlight, which if you know anything about beer is a big no-no and can turn what otherwise would be a delicious beer, into a skunked mess. So pass on the front table and take a gander at the back coolers and chat up the cashiers and you'll have a great experience, like I did. read more

Great selection of wine and micro-brews. The workers are experts in their field and friendly. They treat you more like a friend if you go there often enough. While it can be expensive its well worth it as the service and well maintained, clean, well organized store makes it pleasant to shop in. read more

We stopped in on our way to visit friends after leaving our expensive housewarming wine at home. I ask the staff to make a recommendation for a Pinot and chardonnay in $25-$30 range each. Ask and ye shall receive. Amazing, and I mean ridiculous selection of beers and wines. From obscure boutique, small batch brewers to the big 5 and a mind boggling selection of international beers as well. Manager/owner would not sell me rare beer; told me he didn't have it after selling it to my bf earlier that day (whom said they had more because he saw a plethora); when I told manager this he then said it was last one and they only sell to regulars(Wow!); I will never be back again nor my bf nor all my beer geek friends, plenty of other specialty shops out there- you lose big time sir!!Shame on you!! read more

The owner also owns Rosewick Wine & Spirits in La Plata. I visited that particular store and the owner was extremely rude to me the minute I walked in the door. I guess if you have tattoos (or maybe because I am female) he does not appreciate the business. My husband asked why I still bought anything; I definitely will not be back. The La Plata store may be a nice store but between the excessive pricing and the rude owner, there are several other places to take your business to in Charles County. read more
