I didn't give it 5 stars because even though they're really nice and friendly, the staff don't know a lot about beer, wine, and booze (if you want someone knowledgeable, go to the "sister" store I mentioned above; owned by the same family--at least, as of this writing). Also, a lot of bottles don't have prices on them, which can be inconvenient if you're shopping within a price range. However, I'm a fairly regular customer when we're in the area. Cheers!

The husband was believing her at first. A guy in line told him his wife did take her money. The husband was like OK and just gave me lottery tickets. Recently I was there parking in a space and I was getting my money and everything together in the car. I was out there for no more than 10 minutes and there were no one else in the parking lot. I was about to go in the store. She came outside and banged on the roof of my car. And telling me I gotta move my car. I asked her has she lost her mind, she banged on again, so I blew my horn and she jumped back. This lady is so rude and nasty and I feel like she treats Black people any way because she know we want to continue to shop there. I'm asking for people not to support this store.

But of course they do have the basics in the most common sizes. Don't stop by the store if you're looking for a specialty item but if you just need to refill your stock on the way home then this is the perfect spot. It's usually not very crowded (which is good during COVID) and you can get in and out with their quick and friendly service.

The guy at the register refused to honor military discount, so I went back to the car and found my husband's Id and went back in to show it and he said he won't honor it anyway because it's my husband's. Never had this happen before at any other liquor stores in Calvert county as most of the times they don't even ask to show it. Hope the owner is aware of this behavior
