I have been visiting The Women's Imaging Center for the past several years, upon recommendation from my OBGYN. They do the best possible job of keeping gals (women and their boobies) as comfortable as possible throughout the not-so-awesome procedure of a mammogram. Much appreciated are the pink robes with a functioning tie around the middle. And the wipes in the dressing room. I also like the fact that they offer early morning appointments for those of us working women who are required to go to the office most days. I get in, get out, and go about my day. Do I look forward to going annually? No. Does it give me peace of mind? Yes. read more

Use extreme caution when going to your first appointment at The Women's Imaging Center. In the state of Colorado, clinics who present valid and acceptable health insurance information cannot require credit a credit card number before offering service. They can request or recommend having it on file, but can't require it. I thought the Women's Imaging Center wanted it to pay a small deductible. I was so wrong. They charged my card $850. I called my insurance company after I received the payment invoice. Had they received a claim for my routine mammogram from Women's Imaging? Yes. What's more, there was no deductible and the charge was insurable in full. They said it normally takes 30 days to process the claim, which is normal. I wonder if I will ever see that $850. By Colorado law, they have 60 days charging my card to refund the money. This is bad practice, pure and simple. I don't know how they're even operating. read more

I went to the Highlands Ranch TWIC location for a breast ultrasound, and had the WORST experience there! The ultrasonographer was cold in her demeanor, not typically what I've found in those performing ultrasounds in the past. The radiologist, Dr. Yeager was even worse! I was not allowed to see the screen whatsoever, and absolutely ZERO information was given to me on the size of my tumor. She was cold, rude and extremely unprofessional! Never, ever have I left an ultrasound with out finding out any information whatsoever! I told Dr Yeager we had to have this information for an oncologist appt in the afternoon- she said "ok, fine I'll get it over there by the afternoon", in a most condescending manner. As you can imagine, NO REPORT received at the onc office, they even called over to get it to no avail! It's one week later and we're still waiting on results! It's outrage to be treated so horribly, much less not be given a single bit of information- and unbelievably still waiting! Nope, I'll never walk into that office again!! read more

Getting older and having to get annual checkups is never fun, but Women's Imaging Center tries to make the experience of getting a mammogram pleasant. The waiting rooms (reception and internal) are so spa-like. After checking in at the front desk, you just need to fill out the required paperwork and/or double check your information. When they call you back, you are given a robe to change into and inside the dressing room, they have body wipes to wipe away deodorant. Then you wait for a little bit to be called back to the mammogram room. The mammogram itself only takes about 10 minutes and you're good until next year. I went here for a mammogram and breast US. The women at the front desk and the ultrasonographer were kind and helpful. The woman doing my mammogram made anti-vaccination and political comments, which I found very unprofessional. I completed all of the paperwork to have them send my results to my MD, but they did not. Three weeks later I called to ask if they could (even though they should have since I had completed the paperwork requesting them to). I received a voicemail back saying they would send it over. It has been another three weeks and my MD is still waiting. I won't come here again. read more

I had a Bone Density Scan at The Woman's Imaging Center in Cherry Creek. My experience there was excellent. The front desk folks were initially very helpful and explained everything to me in a very nice way. The woman that did the scan was polite, friendly and also explained the procedure and answered my questions. It was all in all a great experience. read more

MCALEESE, IF YOU'VE EVER EXPERIENCED MEDICAL TRAUMA, OR TRAUMA - OF ANY KIND, AS SHE IS NEITHER CAPABLE OF, NOR WILLING, TO WORK WITH TRAUMA-PATIENTS/CLIENTS* I had high hopes for meeting Dr. McAleese, based on a friend's glowing reviews of her, per our phone call on Saturday 8/3. That said, a red flag did go off in my mind, when my friend told me that Dr. McAleese practices favoritism (like my birth mother, which I found highly-triggering/unprofessional), in that my friend told me she was "able to get a same day biopsy with Dr. McAleese, because they're friends". Friends? With your radiologist? That's weird, I thought to myself, with my East Coast (though I'm a Colorado native) spidy-sense going off in my head. Since when do I need to know waste time I don't have becoming "friends" with my "doctors," in order for them to do the jobs, for which my insurance & I are paying them? I let that go. Big mistake. After UCHealth caused a 2-3 week delay diagnosing my cancer - at the start (leading to possible chemotherapy, which would also mean 100% long hair loss, given I can't wear the cold cap, due to my migraines, and I had to remove the IUD last week, unexpectedly, which regulates my hormones/prevents migraines, because it was feeding my cancer), I was thrilled to learn about Dr. McAleese's alleged speed; especially after there was a people / process / technology failure & miscommunication, causing a 5-calendar delay with another facility (in their defense, only a 3-business day delay). I called Dr. McAleese last Thursday, and had the pleasure of meeting & speaking with Petra, who is extremely competent, unlike her boss, Dr. McAleese. Petra made magic happen. Petra, by way of Valentina, immediately helped me in-person to collect my medical records from UCHealth, the past 2-years, and from the other facility, for the MRI, as well as book the first available appointment: for Wed 8/14 @ 8:45am. Petra reassured me that if I needed a biopsy, Dr. McAleese would do it same day, backing into my Tue 8/20 surgery date - already scheduled for my left breast, given I also have my British mum flying here from New Jersey to take care of me the week of Mon 8/19 through Sat 8/24, given we were told by Petra last week that Dr. McAleese would see me this week, as planned, after I already used my last vacation/sick days last week to drive my forms to Petra, to make all this happen as fast as possible, respecting everyone, and all our time. Then Petra took Fri 8/9 off work, and that's when the problems began. Kathrine, the medical records person, failed to do her job correctly. First, she failed to read my one/single page/form to transfer all my medical records from UCHealth to Dr. McAleese. Then, when I called to verify receipt, Kathrine disrespectfully failed to listen to me, and interrupted me, while I explained the situation to her, while she failed to realize her mistakes - and made excuses for her poor performance, in parallel. Kathrine told me she was over-worked by Dr. McAleese, had too much work on her plate, so that is why she made the errors. She had too many other patients to work through their medical records, that - according to Kathrine - that's why she didn't have time to listen to me, the paying patient, or read my form, that I personally wasted my last vacation/sick leave to respectfully drive to her, and then she made additional excuses for her rude, disrespectful, immature, unprofessional, inefficient, ineffective, incompetent, negligent behavior. I was astounded. Never have I encountered someone so unbelievably incompetent in the medical field, other than the women who behaved like this - who killed my dad. Worse? After that terribly traumatic experience, instead of listening to me, learning from her mistakes, and doing her job today, Mon 8/12, instead, Kathrine, by way of Dr. McAleese called me this morning to unilaterally cancel my appointment, causing me to waste yet another entire work day re-scheduling all the other multi-disciplinary oncology doctor appointments / dependencies, prior to breast cancer surgery, and now I'm - yet again - not sleeping, eating, or able to work / doing my day-job, because I'm - still drowning after my dad's preventable death due to little girls like Kathrine - in medical paperwork. read more

I have been going here for years, and everyone that works there is very nice, so I hate to give just 3 stars, but after the third time of being left sitting in a room for over 30 minutes waiting for a doctor, it's time to call. them out. Today's appointment took 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was alone for all but maybe 10 minutes of that time. I put this appointment off and often don't go when I am supposed to because of my stress level. Due to my age, history of cancer in my family, and density of my breasts, I am supposed to go annually and get a 3D mammogram plus an ultrasound. I stay with Women's Imaging because they know I need the two reviews, whereas a new place tells me I have to go for the mammogram and return later IF I need the ultrasound. Today, after the quick mash, I was brought to a small room for the ultrasound at 12:50. I had a tech do my ultrasound at 1:15. It was 45 minutes later when - after making a stink in the hallway twice about being forgotten - the doctor finally arrived. She was apologetic and kind. She also gave me good news. But this isn't the first time I have been left in one of these tiny rooms. It's happed at least two times before. One time I was there so long they brought my husband back to hang out with me. That freaked me out because I thought it meant it was going to be bad news. So in the end, all is good and I will go back to these guys again next year (or somewhere around then)....but I am going to be quite vocal about being left for so long. read more

My experience here was one out of a horror movie. Besides the sweet older lady behind the desk, every person I interacted with was cold, callous, and dismissive. I can't explain how many times I was interrupted while trying to talk to these people and my appointment was traumatic in itself. I was left alone sobbing in the room after the procedure I had done as the numbing didn't work at all and everyone scurried out because they're always backed up on patients. They treat you like you're stupid and they have better things to do. I cannot even believe they're allowed to practice. read more

During my breast needle core biopsy I told her that I could feel the blade of the biopsy punch. She said it should just be pressure and took a second sample. I screamed as I felt the blade again. I was shaking and made her stop. I said again that I could feel the blade and needed more anesthetic. She sighed and asked the nurse to get more then had the audacity to ask how I was able to get my tattoo on my back insinuating that I could handle pain. I was a cash paying patient and this place tried to take advantage of me financially. I was billed for services that were not performed both times I was seen here in July 2025. They made me file a credit card dispute to get my money back. Then they sent me a bill for a balance that should have been zero. After they disabled the receipts on the portal I was sent a statement saying I paid $998 when I had actually paid $1348. Ion had to send letters with copies of all my credit card statements to get the balance cleared. read more

Dr. McAleese does not demonstrate good ethics in patient communication or standard of care. She told me I had cancer before even taking the biopsy. I asked twice for clarification if she was telling me I have cancer or if she suspected I had cancer, and she repeated that I have cancer and will need chemotherapy. To be clear, no biopsy had been done yet. I understand this is her field and she is an expert, but she had no right to communicate that before the biopsy was taken. I was not expecting this news, and she showed no care for how it would impact me. I had to drive home with zero support. The worst part is that she said, "Don't worry, it's not triple negative or anything." Well, guess what, Dr. McAleese--it is triple negative. How do you think your flip comments make me feel now? She needs to worry less about being the smartest person in the room and rely on the science. Tell people what you think, but don't commit without data, please. Additionally, I found out on Thursday that McAleese didn't even follow BASIC STANDARD CARE procedures for finding cancer. At the biopsy she did not place a marker on my mass, so I am forced to go through ANOTHER biopsy for marker placement after already paying for the first one. Good Lord do not go to this place. read more

Absolutely horrible experience! I had two exams scheduled with exact times back to back, however this was completely ignored. Total time that spent at the Imaging Center was over 2 hours instead of 30-40 minutes! I missed work meetings because of this. First, sitting half-dressed in a waiting room, then on ultrasound table in a freezing room, waiting for someone to show up. Both exams mammo and ultrasound were extremely painful. I've never encountered anything remotely close to this. The ultrasound tech was not properly trained, she was rough pressed hard, she heard me screaming and begging to stop but she didn't. The torture continued for another 15 minutes! Then the Dr. showed, she was quick, but she repeated the torture less abrasive. I was injured for weeks as a result of this horrific "exam", 6 weeks later, my breasts are still extremely sensitive and I can't even think about lying on my stomach because it hurts like hell! I have to say for myself, I had a good experience. I transferred my results to them because I didn't want to stay with Sally Jobe. I grabbed my records and dropped them off and I got a call the next day from Bonnie to schedule my biopsy. Office personnel were respectful and upbeat. Kelly McAleese did the biopsy. She had a calming and understanding bedside manner, and worked as quickly as she could so that I would feel as little pain as possible. I really appreciated that. I know results are down to when labs complete them. I was lucky to get mine early. I plan to stay with them and will be back after the 6 months. Thank you so much for making a hard situation, easier. I visited last week for a mammogram appointment. The scheduling was easy, the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. I was checked in, in a gown and ready for boob squishing in just a few minutes. The actual exam was very easy and I didn't feel uncomfortable physically or otherwise. I was in and out and under 20 minutes from walking in the door to exiting. I'm now waiting for my results, but I'm fairly sure all is well. read more

I went to this location for a check up and after my ultrasound I noticed a lump they had missed. I called 4 times trying to talk to someone about getting back in hoping they wouldn't charge me another $600. Even though this was missed they are still going to charge me another $600 to get it looked at. This company clearly doesn't care about the lives of their patients. Don't recommend. read more

I want to preface this by saying I LOVED my doctor, the care given, and all the office staff. Everything was seamless and I felt very soothed the entire time (hence 3 stars)... until billing. I have to warn people about what appears to be exploitative billing. Two times now they have tried to auto charge me for the full out of pocket cost of my services without running through my insurance. Every time I have gotten this bill I have checked my insurance website, and sure enough they never attempted to file a claim. My insurance covers these services once I call and get everything corrected, but this most recent time they have repeatedly tried to charge me the full out of pocket amount despite me calling and asking them to correct it, during which they never file a claim. It makes me so sad because I loved my doctor, and I truly think she would be horrified to know this is happening, but I can't reach her about it and it's been so stressful that I don't really want to go back. I can only imagine how many patients are paying hundreds more than they have to for this reason. read more

I'm high risk for breast cancer & get an annual MRI. I got one on Monday & received a LETTER on Friday that I need an ultrasound & likely a biopsy. No phone call. I opened the letter & called immediately at 4:32. They closed at 4:30. Until Monday. WTF?! This is your protocol?! Was a carrier pigeon not available so you MAILED me the results?! No tortoises around you could strap the letter to?! Your string-and-tin-can phones were down?! It would be great if I had family support over this stressful weekend but I don't BECAUSE THEY'RE ALL DEAD FROM CANCER. Women's Imaging Center, YOU SUCK. read more

I rarely leave reviews but given that health and potential cancer diagnosis is on the line I felt I had to share. I had a mammogram on 7/8/2024. Today is 8/23/2024 and neither my PCP or I have received any results. FYI, by law it's 30 days max. I have called 3 times before today (it is nearly impossible to get a live person on the phone). Each time I was told that they are just too busy and my results are still in dictation, I have confirmed each time that they have my contact info. I called again today and managed to get through to a person who said my results weren't ready, but as I was speaking she didn't finish listen and dumped me into medical records line. Well, medical records doesn't answer that line, all you can do is leave a message to request your records but sounds like my records still aren't done so, not helpful. So I called back and this time she (someone) picked up and hung up on me. This happened five more times with someone either picking up and hanging up or picking up and and dumping me into medical records voicemail box or a random Avaya voicemail box without saying anything - I imagine to get me out of their call queue. So I get my husband's phone and call, low and behold she answers this time. But this time she tells me that I have not provided them with proper contact info and dumps me into an Avaya voicemail box again. Almost comical at this point, but cancer is rarely funny. And I know they have my contact info because I saw them two years ago (took me an hour to get back even though I was on time for my appt btw) and I reviewed the contact form again this year to make sure it was all still correct and I had confirmed with them by phone they had my contact info and when the results were first late and I had left that message for medical records with all of my info just to make sure there was not some mix up with my contact info since they were so late. I can't believe this is how any patients would be treated, but I think of those that are awaiting potentially life-changing results or those that are are already dealing with cancer and I am just floored. If you are too busy to manage your patient load and get results out in a timely manner then make some changes or at the very least let your patients know how far you might be running behind so that each person can make the best choice for their personal situation and care. I will never be coming here again, but still have to figure out how to get my results and I sure hope they are clean. read more

I've been going here for a year and have a profound respect for this health facility. From front to back the team works with accuracy, friendliness and compassion. Check in is quick and the front staff points out exactly how you need to fill out your forms. They greet you with genuine smiles as soon as you walk through the door. They walk you back to the room and do their best to ease your nerves. And trust me, we all have nerves. No one wants to ever need to be told there's something wrong with you, but when someone does... you'd hope they'd tell you kindly. You'll be surprised how emotional the process is. But everyone here knows that so they speak with you so gently, make sure you feel safe and protected like you're wrapped in a warm blanket. Procedures always run relatively on time. The doctor is efficient yet extremely thorough! I appreciated Dr. Lewin's explanation of the process before and during the procedures. He spends the time to make sure he checked everything. I've had consistent experiences every time so please ignore the bad reviews. I love this practice! read more

This is the best center for Mammograms and Ultrasounds is by far the best. It was extremely clean and professional. All my questions were answered. I would highly recommend going here for your mammogram and ultrasound. I made my appointment on their website which was super easy and had a confirmed appointment within 2 minutes. They had parking spaces right out front which was great since I couldn't go very far with my crutches. I was personally examined by the doctor which was unexpected since I've had ultrasounds done in the past at other centers and only the technologists were present. This was a very nice surprise and made me feel very reassured that I was receiving the best care. I was in and out of there in no time with a CD in my hand and my results were sent to my doctor immediately. I will definitely be recommending this center to my friends and family. read more

I have never written a bad review for any business but this was warranted. I had a mammogram done here. The technician and the front desk staff were wonderful. I received a phone call saying that further diagnostic testing was required and I needed an ultrasound. I asked if they compared the results to my prior mamo which was done at another facility and they responded "yes, that's why they are asking for an ultrasound. They noticed a change,". As any woman can understand this is jarring news to receive. The truth was they never requested my records and no comparison was ever made. I contacted the office manager, Sandy, who refused to take any accountability for the blatant lie her staff told me. I also left another message for the Gayle the other office manager and never received a call back. Unacceptable. read more

After my doctor suggested I get an MRI - to rule out my extensive family history of breast cancer - I decided on the Woman's Imaging Center to get the job done - and they sure did! I was a bit nervous, to say the least, as I have never had an MRI. As soon as I walked into the office, I was greeted with smiles and friendly faces to ease the nerves. The receptionist (an older woman) was friendly but seemed as if she'd had been doing the job a little too long - as she was quick, to the point with little room for questions. After filling out forms, I was brought to the changing area to put on my robe. Shortly after, a sweet nurse came by to scoop me up, give me the run down of the test, start my IV and lead me to the testing area. Now it's beyond awkward to get an MRI of your breasts, as the position is super uncomfortable, but manageable for the 20 minute testing period. To make matters more comfortable, I was able to control the temperature in the room, had ear plugs and headphone on - hooked up to satellite radio no less - and could easily get the tech's attention, if needed. Although the MRI itself was loud, my sweet nurse made everything better by constantly checking on me and making the somewhat anxiety ridden experience - better! Overall - I would highly recommend this facility to friends or family and will definitely return for any imaging needs! read more

Everyone else schedules you and you can get everything to them at your convenance...would not make an appointment AT ALL without your CD at their facility first!!! TERRIBLE experience. I never post on Yelp - but this one seemed important to share. I have been going to WIC for years now - and I have a history of breast cancer in my family. So I go annually and I always ask for an additional ultrasound because of the history. I found lump last week and was especially concerned because it was in my armpit and felt large. I called and basically begged to get in - they did find a space for me that day I was so thankful to get in. Fast forward to the ultrasound - where the tech actually said "well looks like you were here last year with a concern. did you actually find a lump?" I wasn't even sure of the question - like if I find a lump - isn't that a good reason to come in? Are you questioning if I'm just coming in without a good reason? Why are you making me feel bad about coming in? And then the worst part is when the Dr. Timothy Colt comes rushing in and commands me to lie down. I was slow untying my robe when he actually reaches over, unties it and pulls the rob down off my shoulders . . . . Do I even need to say anything here? Other than this was NOT OK. I'm not sure what world this Dr. is living in - but this is NEVER OK. He too, tried to berate me for coming in with a lump concern and said I had been in before with the same concern. AND? Isn't that what we are supposed to do? He failed miserably explaining what the lump actually is and didn't offer any advice like possibly aspirating it or having it removed and tested. I had to look this up on my own. This was a horrible experience. I don't need to feel belittled or shamed for coming in with a concern about a lump. How does this man even know what it's like? And then he mansplained my lump with a heavy sign and irritation in his voice. Instead of calming me and making me feel better about my concerns. I'm putting this here for all of you to read and to stay away from this practice or at least this Dr. I will be making a formal complaint to the office and anywhere else that I can. I'm not about cancel culture, he doesn't need to lose his job - but this should never happen and he needs to be disciplined in some manner. Especially at a WOMAN'S Imaging center. read more

I have been here three times now and it has typically been easy to schedule, a pleasant experience (boob smashing aside), and the technicians generally agreeable and competent. This most recent time I got a form letter after my mammogram to say that they found an abnormality and needed for me to come back in. Trust me when I say that you NEVER want to get that letter in the mail! No description of the issue whatsoever. Purely coincidentally I had my annual the next day with my GP. She had much more detailed results which were much more reassuring. It really sucks that my DOCTOR has access to more detail than I do as the patient. I would have appreciated being treated with more courtesy and respect. A) if you detect abnormal results this warrants a PHONE CALL from someone qualified to field questions. Treat the whole person! B) You owe the patient the same level of transparency that you afford other healthcare professionals so they can determine how worrisome their results are read more

The Women's Imaging Center is not just for women. I had a kidney ultrasound there. The technologist Amanda exhibited competence and compassion in taking care of me. I was quickly seen by a radiologist immediately after the exam and was reassured that I had only a benign cyst. This was a great relief to hear as I was very concerned prior to this examination. The care at the Women's Imaging Center was outstanding and I would highly recommend it to anyone- male or female. read more
