We decided to have our wedding at the Barn at Hickory Creek and it was the BEST decision we ever made. This place is a well oiled machine. Breathtakingly beautiful does not even began to describe it. If you are looking for a barn wedding this is the place for you. Jenni and her staff are hands down the best. She was so professional and easy to work with. The barn looked like a picture from a magazine when Jenni was done decorating it. Everything went smooth, Jenni had it all under control, which gave me the freedom to breathe and enjoy the day. One thing I love about this place is it's less than 10 minutes from Lake Naconiche. (That lake is a bass fisherman's dream) This place has great cabins and numerous RV spots. There's also a nice pond (mini-lake actually) on the premises where you can fish, kayak, and swim. It's stocked with Largemouth, Crappie, Bluegill and Catfish. It's a strict C&R pond. The cabin we stayed in will house a small family comfortably. The cabins come with fully functioning kitchens (with dishes and cookware) and are kept cool in the summer with multiple air conditioners. Renee (one of the owners) is always available to answer questions or provide you with help to insure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. If you're looking to getaway for the weekend, this is the place to stay. You'll enjoy the comfort and great scenery.

Lisa Anding was absolutely fantastic. I could not have asked for a better experience at her venue. She, so kindly, decorated the venue with her expansive décor closet. Lisa and Randi were present during my wedding and treated me and my family just like theirs! They were professional and provided exceptional service. The open air chapel is absolutely stunning in pictures. It was a perfect feel for our ceremony. The open air barn was a fantastic setting for our guests. The farmhouse tables, the couples table, where food is served, and the cake table are perfectly placed and perfectly decorated. I LOVED the wooden dance floor framed in twinkly lights. My advice is to go with Lisa's recommendations on whoever she recommended. The DJ and caterer she recommended were both wonderful. Lisa (owner) is so friendly and helps in any way she can. They have a full room of decor that you can add to your package for a nominal fee and saves tons on having to buy your own expensive decor. Linens, napkins, tables, chairs and dishes are included which is HUGE. For a bride on a smaller budget like myself, this place was a true blessing. The ceremony site is to die for; it's absolutely breathtaking, especially in the evening with the lights up. There are super cool features such as an outdoor dance floor, fire pit with hay bale seating, Texas light up flag on the fence, and a full indoor kitchen.
