Delicious! We came in for dinner on a Saturday night and received excellent service. We did have to make a late reservation for 8:30 pm because they were so busy, but that wasn't the end of the world. The food was excellent. I had an eye fillet and added a side of mushrooms with creme brulee for dessert. The steak was outstanding! read more

The Woodhouse is a great little bricked venue with some fantastic wood fire pizzas!! Went for lunch which worked fantastically with their lunch special. $20 for a gourmet pizza and a craft beer or glass of wine! Now that is a bargain! Their Morton bay bug and prawns pizza was mouth watering and their craft beer, delicious. The service there is similar to something you would deal with in crown. Very professional and helpful with the menu. This place should definitely be on everyone's radar! read more

The Woodhouse impressed me right from the moment I walked through that big front door. The decor is warm and inviting. I was greeted with a smile and showed to our table to wait for my girl date. The staff are impeccably groomed and professional but totally approachable and unpretentious. The menu is fantastic! There's really something to cater to whatever you're feeling with delicious steaks, pizzas, pasta and seafood. We chose the Moreton Bay bug and prawn pizzette and the charcuterie board to share and weren't disappointed. The charcuterie board offered us so much to sample with lots of different beautiful meats, pâté, cheeses & pickled foods to choose from and the pizzette was so divine we decided to order an extra side of king prawns and Moreton Bay bug. The prawns had such a beautiful smokey flavour from the grill and the bug was to die for. But what we'd really come for was the dessert platter. It came out to us so beautifully presented with such a perfect balance of flavours. Rich chocolate brownie with chocolate mousse and chocolate sauce and basically chocolate everything, beautiful creamy creme brûlée and caramel popcorn balanced with a lemon curd tart and delicious sorbets. We came here for a very late 3.30pm lunch. Not busy, easy to be seated. Perhaps people come for the steaks. I hope they're good, because the Pizzas were so disappointing. Quite tasteless really. Odd sort of dough base, completely flat with no puffiness around the edges. Service was not entirely friendly, a little dismissive in fact. Mac and cheese side dish was tasty and so was stuffed flowers entree. I wouldn't rush back. You might go if you want the big steak experience I guess. I dinned with some family and had to bring back a pizza for my partner, I was going to order it here and glad I didn't. I went round the block to pizza crust and was blown away. They were clean, friendly, efficient. Ingredients on display were all fresh, inviting and healthy. The capriscosa alone was served with fresh Virginia ham, not that processed stuff that pile on at a lot of pizzarias. I did a taste test at home when I gave my partner the four salumi pizza he ordered. It was spot on.
