After a horrible experience at a previous barber shop and a long wait for another cut, I finally convinced my 11yr old to try out Scott at this shop per a referral. I left with happy tears! Scott was quick but extremely efficient and attentive. My son was immediately at ease as was I within just the greeting. The haircut was spot on even though we weren't exactly sure how to explain what my son wanted. I've been going to the wool exchange for about a year now. I've never had a bad experience with any of the Barbers. The shop feels like a modernized old school Barber shop. Prices are fair but they are a cash only location. With that being said they do have an ATM in store. All in all will not stop going here anytime soon. read more

The Wool Exchange offers a legitimate old school barber experience. Andrew the shop owner, is a skilled barber with an upbeat lively personality. Their online booking takes out the guesswork and keeps your wait time to a minimum. The aesthetic is vintage meets modern complete with antique barber chairs sourced from all over the country. I saw another review that referenced an ex-employee Cory. I was on the receiving end of one of his rush jobs myself, and I can happily report that he was let go. I schedule appointments for every 2 weeks or so, and the booking system lets me schedule several future appointments in advance. The system also sends me text reminders about upcoming appointments. I was very disappointed with the lack of friendliness and rudeness of the barber who cut my husband's hair and beard. This was a special gift from our daughters for Father's Day. This was the first time my husband had ever trusted someone else been to trim his beard and his beard is a very personal thing to him but our daughters wanted to treat him. He was very nervous because of his beard being special and personal so he wanted to make sure the barber understood and the barber was very rude and very unfriendly. Not sure if he was having a bad day but we probably won't ever come back because of the lack of friendliness, his tone, attitude, and comments that were made. read more

I come to this establishment every time I need a haircut and I usually tip very well because you guys usually do a very exceptional job on my hair and timing. but this time I was very disappointed I came in for a walk-in no one even greeted me at the door or asked if I had an appointment or was a walk in and instead of telling me they were booked up right away for the rest of the day The Barbers sat there and let me wait for an hour and a half before telling me that they had no space for walk-ins . I would have been perfectly fine if they would have notified me when I first came in. but to wait ovwr an hour before letting me know that they couldn't cut my hair is absolutely insane . read more

Fantastic Barber Shop! Farley new to town but stopped in as I am from out of town and got a great cut, beard trim and straight razor for around $20. Killer deal for the quality. Feel of the joint is awesome! You should have an hour on your hands if they are busy because they are walk in only. We would frequent the wool exchange, had a bad experience once with Corey rushing my sons hair cut, the rest of the time we always just waited for Jamie. When he left we tried again with Corey, he messed up my sons hair again. Today we have a appointment at 230 I called in so I did not know who it was with but it happened to be with Corey, we walked in at 225 he said I have to run somewhere really quick, 250 comes around and he still has not shown up. That was the last time we will ever go there. read more
