Tammy also tutored her throughout Precalculus, where my daughter consistently earned an A. Beyond the grade improvement, Tammy truly helped my daughter enjoy math again. She is friendly, understanding, extremely patient, and very easy to talk to and learn from. She always took the time to explain concepts clearly and would provide extra practice problems whenever needed to make sure my daughter fully understood the material. My daughter genuinely looked forward to her sessions with Tammy and gained so much confidence in math because of her. We are incredibly grateful for Tammy's dedication and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and effective math tutor.

She is…read moreextremely patient, understanding, and always willing to take the extra minute or two to help you fully understand the material. Considering I was an athlete and did not go to traditional school, due to my soccer demands, I would say I needed a little help in every subject. To my astonishment, Tammy either knew about the subject or would learn about it during her off time and come back during our next session and help me with the material. Tammy completely changed my writing for the better, tutored me for my SAT, and helped me understand chemistry. During the two years that we worked together, I received a 4.3 cumulative GPA. With Tammy's help, along with soccer, I got into numerous top universities including Yale, Cornell, and Boston University-which I currently attend. I would say my overall experience with Tammy was nothing short of exceptional. If you are looking for a tutor that can help you learn (not just get a grade) while working around your schedule Tammy is who you want to call!

From the very first session, it was clear this wasn't just tutoring--it was personalized, thoughtful guidance tailored to our child's learning style and pace. The tutor is not only highly knowledgeable but also warm, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping kids succeed. Our child went from struggling with math and reading to actually looking forward to sessions and gaining confidence week after week. Homework time is no longer a battle, and the improvement in school has been noticeable--not just in grades, but in attitude and independence. The communication with parents is also fantastic. This is very important because my son learns quickly in a relaxed, less structured environment. He is funny, kind, very smart, helpful; and he can teach in a way that younger students can relate to. He seems more like a brother and a mentor rather than a structured academic. During the school lockdowns Matt was invaluable to my son. During the lack of classroom structure, thanks to Matt, my son flourished. My son views Matt as a friend and a confidant and often discusses his feelings separate from school with Matt who gives him wise counselor these subjects.
